tengusaur (17:05:45): In the recent fight against the Cambio Protocol, SSR took a big hit. They lost a chunk of their forces, and the Shirogane and Lee fell into enemy hands. The organization is severely weakened right now.
tengusaur (17:06:01): And there are forces that just waited to take advantage of that.
tengusaur (17:06:41): A message reached Unity Group about problems in the SSR headquarters, located deep into Russian territory.
tengusaur (17:06:57): They are under attack. By Loni Gavin and friends.
tengusaur (17:07:28): Without a doubt, they are after the second seal.
tengusaur (17:08:33): If Loni obtains all three seals, he will gain the power to change the world. We don't know what exactly this means, but it can't be anything good.

cubey@aol.pl (17:10:25): But Brye is going to look like something is bothering her, even as she's on the way there to assist. Because she is.
TormTerra (17:11:30): Kei: "..." She's silent, recalling the presence of several former SSR members, not to mention how her last meeting with Lenore had gone.
Aero (17:11:40): And she is not alone, the third member of former SSR club is flying next to her partner. "We should have expected him to do this..."
tengusaur (17:21:13): Your group is quickly making way towards the SSR base. The environment is pretty difficult, considering the location, so it's good that most of your units can fly.
tengusaur (17:21:25): And, from afar, you can already see smoke over the installations.
tengusaur (17:21:34): The signs of battle.
tengusaur (17:22:32): Soon, you're close enough to be in range of the base itself. You don't see any SSR units nearby, however.
tengusaur (17:22:58): But what you see is familiar, strange machines, shambling around in search of things to destroy.
tengusaur (17:24:01): They are on your way to the base - if you want to get deeper, you have to get rid of those!

Aero (17:30:01): * "You should always take combat seriously Brye..." The Grungust Alpha's left eye glows for a brief second as the Super Robot charges forward and slams its massive fist into the nearest Herald. +

tengusaur (17:30:48): Brye gets the attention of several of the Portents as she gets close to them - but as they turn around to engage her in combat, she gets away, her barrage blowing holes in two of them. Two others swing their blades, throwing them into the Huckebein's direction! (react)
griefgathering (17:31:12): Lenore: *"..." Wordlessly, Lenore has Iblis approach the Portents. The Craft blasts forward to close in on some Portents, and then lights up the thrusters in its sword to slash in a wide arc!+
tengusaur (17:31:51): Seeing the Grungust approach, the Herald's boosters flare as it tries to outmaneuver the big enemy, go around it and stab it into the side with its lance. (react)
tengusaur (17:33:21): Lenore moves in, her wide slash cutting through two other Portents. A group of three of them is moving in now, raising their blades and trying to stab at her repeatedly. (react)

VJockey (17:34:52): *Peola is charging in with a very loud roar, ki streaming off Regalis Filia's fists as she lets loose a rushing storm of punches at a Testimony's face+
Aero (17:35:14): * In response the Grungust raises its other arm towards the Herald, not bothering to turn to face it. "Boost Knuckle." The other fist rockets out from the Grungust's elbow towards the attacker, threatening to blow through both the lance and the Herald holding it. +
cubey@aol.pl (17:35:16): *Thrusters flare up on the Huckebein, its flight turning into a big leap as Brye tries to hop above the enemies while also leaving a surprise for them - while shooting the beam magnum, the bayonet disattaches, turning into a slash ripper and flying off.
cubey@aol.pl (17:35:43): *The ripper zooms towards the thrown lances, trying to cut through them - and then, the now-disarmed enemies who threw their weapons!+
tengusaur (17:36:22): The Herald is too caught up in its momentum to evade this attack - right before its spear reaches the Grungust, it suddenly gets hit by the rocket punch, which blows a hole in its body and makes it blow up.
griefgathering (17:36:58): Lenore: "You're in the way...!" *The right Phantom Arm that manipulates light comes to life, and is smashed against the ground, sending a seismic wave, coupled with a blast of light, toward the incoming blades and the attackers themselves!+
tengusaur (17:37:49): Brye's slash ripper cuts through the weapons thrown by the enemies - but as it does so, they shatter into hundreds of splinters, some of which are thrown into the Huckebein's direction and graze its armor!
tengusaur (17:38:06): The slash ripper cuts through the two Portents though, cleaving them in half.
TormTerra (17:38:19): * "Rani, follow up on your momentum to take on the one Peola charged from the side. If you time it just right, I'll send you a clock, it should be off balance and lack the to recover and defend properly. Brye, suppress these three units to keep them from interecepting Rani." +
tengusaur (17:38:57): Rani and Brye can take the action given by Kei. But there's a problem...
tengusaur (17:39:56): As Kei tries to use the communication channels to send the data, it turns out to be impossible! Someone is putting heavy jamming all over the area!
tengusaur (17:40:18): Comm channels and radars are all but inoperational.

tengusaur (17:42:00): Lenore's seismic wave knocks the attackers off their feet before they can reach their target, the beam of light burning one of them to nothingness.

tengusaur (17:43:22): Peola punches the Testimony into the face, cracking its armor and pushing it back - but the enemy's armor is tough, and it's not giving up yet! The damaged Testimony takes a step forward, swinging its blade upwards in a massive cleaving strike. (react)
TormTerra (17:43:25): Seeing her instruments suddenly go haywire than that, Kei started fiddling with them to try to establish a better signal. Purple-2 was meant for providing support and information, there had to be a way to cut through the fog
griefgathering (17:44:19): Lenore continues to look around for any sign of SSR's members.
Aero (17:46:47): * The Boost Knuckle she fired earlier returns as the Grungust charges towards the Testimony, not stopping for a moment to retrieve the limb. Both hands of the machine are clasped together before it drives its fists into the chest of the Testimony to prevent it from finishing that attack on Peola. "Double Boost Knuckle!" And with the vocal command, sends the locked fists flying at point blank range of the Testimony. +
VJockey (17:47:01): *And Peola's going to bring down her fists in a double axe handle on the blade. Still charged with ki as they are she lets it all loose with explosive force!+

tengusaur (17:47:25): Kei - all you can manage it a barely operational short-distance communication channel with your allies, pretty much inferior to just talking through speakers. And any kind of radar is still inoperational. All you can rely on here is your enhanced hearing.

tengusaur (17:48:30): Brye's suppression fire keeps the Portents from attacking as Rani moves in to support Peola.
tengusaur (17:49:24): Peola's ki-infused strike smashes into the axe, shattering it! And afterwards, the double boost knuckle hits the giant enemy from point blank, breaking it apart!
tengusaur (17:49:36): Lenore and Kei notice something.
TormTerra (17:49:42): She frowned slightly, looking around the others to see if they appeared to do even worse...Did all their units even work with this kind of jamming of just about everything?

tengusaur (17:50:29): A squad of Adeles is moving in, from the base's direction. There seems to be around eight of them, and they're bearing the SSR insignia.
Fri Freeman (17:52:15): Walt gestures to his team with his genoace's hand. What's taht, some "come here" gesture and then... circle with his finger? then up and down? Does he want everyone to spread?

TormTerra (17:52:31): (That's not Kei's concern. It is whether the jamming is interfering with any advanced controls in the various units.)

tengusaur (17:53:30): The Adeles ready their DODS rifles, and fire at their targets from afar, while still incoming among the base installations.

Fri Freeman (17:54:04): Walt's genoace points upward then point forward, before running forward and shooting at the portents with his laser drill gun. He nds his move by taking cover behind some rubbles. His team pauses for a while, before doing the same.+

tengusaur (17:56:08): Walt and the Genoace team pepper the attacking Portents with their DODS guns, piercing through three of them and piercing right through them. The rest of them are on the defense, unable to fire at the moment. But...
tengusaur (17:56:57): Its engines roaring, a Herald rushes in, peppering a few of the Genoaces from above with several blasts of its spear as it passes by! (react)
VJockey (17:57:21): *Peola's going to snag the ruined testimony with her scarf and put it and herself between the beams and Lenore.+
Wyverncakes (17:57:27): * The Adeles aren't the only SSR units moving in on the scene though, a somewhat familiar blue craft jetting onto the scene and taking aim at the Adeles gunning for Purple Two! "Hang on!" The Breaker AN's Dust Rifle fired, firing repeatedly until the four Adeles are at the very least driven off!+
griefgathering (17:57:38): Lenore: "Wha- ?!" *Suddenly moving into defense, Iblis interposes the flat side of its sword's blade between itself and the incoming beam!+ "What are you doing?! We're here to help!"

Fri Freeman (17:59:32): Walt: "Damnit, I said spread and defend my above space! Didn't you see my up and down gesture?"
Fri Freeman (17:59:45): Team: "Why didn't you just say that! Why gesture?"
tengusaur (17:59:54): Kei starts evading the incoming blasts, though one of them still hits her unit - it's absorbed by the energy shield, but Purple Two is pushed away a bit.
tengusaur (18:00:54): Peola and Lenore defend against the blasts, the former's ruined Testimony working as a shield against one of them, and the latter intercepting most of the damage with her sword - still, the shots deal light damage to both of their units.
VJockey (18:01:28): "That's what I want to know..."
VJockey (18:01:38): "Everyone alright?"
tengusaur (18:01:43): However, the Adeles are under fire, two of them going down from the Dust Rifle. And that's not all of it!

Fri Freeman (18:04:54): Walt: "Because we don't know what else this heavy jamming do! Isn't it strange that they only jam long range comm and not short range? What if they turn short-range communication into lies! What if they're trying to record our voice to be used as example for their voice modulation program to be used to complete our robotic clones? What if actually all of our short range comm are broadcasted to the world and now everyone everywhere know about your doll collection while you're only meant to talk about it as dying confession to your closest comrade! that's why! Now shoot at robot that coming to others, not yours, and do your best to dodge the one actually coming to you!" Walt says as he shoot one the incoming Herald before rolling sideways when they got close.to him.+

tengusaur (18:06:46): Walt manages to roll out of the way of the attacking enemy, while he and his wingmen pepper it with shots - most of them miss, but some hit, damaging it. Luckily most of his squad is safe from the attack, what with taking cover and all.
TormTerra (18:07:06): Kei: "We're separate organizations, but we're here for the same thing."
tengusaur (18:07:23): Viletta: "Lenora, Raniiya and Bryanne... What a coincidence to see you here."
griefgathering (18:07:35): The Kijin is very relieved though, and doing a poor job hiding it judging by that half finished wave Iblis is giving the R-Gun.
Fri Freeman (18:07:58): Walt: "Is it this mysterious jamming? The mysterious jamming brainwash your friends? Quick! tell everyone your weakness so everyone know how to deal with you if you get brainwashed! My geonace's weakness is shot by bullets or lasers!"

tengusaur (18:08:21): Viletta: "Regardless. Those Adeles are AI-controlled. They were hacked by one of the attackers, just like the rest of our automated defenses. The base is open for them right now..."

cubey@aol.pl (18:13:02): *The Huckebein kneels down, aiming with the magnum. "I'll help you, geno guys. Don't worry!" Brye sticks her tongue out in concentration, her aim following the flying Herald... now! Her sense tells her to shoot, a concentrated beam towards the enemy's thrusters!+
tengusaur (18:14:50): The Herald is hit by Brye's shot, guided by her psychic foresight... The enemy starts spinning down quickly after the hit, and blows up!
tengusaur (18:15:47): However, one of the Testimonies throws its giant blade like a boomerang into the Huckebein's direction, the projectile grinding against nearby building walls as it passes by! (react)

Aero (18:17:43): * As its Boost Knuckles were still soaring through the air the Grungust took aim at the Portents. "Eye Solid Laser." Before firing two small beams from the eyes of the Super Robot towards them. +
Aero (18:18:05): Rani: "Brye look out!"
cubey@aol.pl (18:18:23): *And immediately starts jumping away. "Ahh, what the heck!" Brye turns mid flight, the TK field flaring up momentarily but she hopes she'll be abke to fly above the boomerang blade.+
Fri Freeman (18:19:12): Walt: "Thank you Brye. I hope that give you enough karma so even if you die you at least won't die horribly."
tengusaur (18:19:47): Thw two eye lasers hit a Portent each, punching holes through their bodies.
tengusaur (18:20:11): However, as Rani does that, the Adeles rush in, two of them brandishing beam sabers and trying to cut at the Grungust from opposite directions! (react)

Aero (18:22:45): * "It's a good thing they're unmanned units..." Rather than stopping her attack, Rani increased the output of the Eye Solid Laser and sweeped the beam across both units to sever them apart before they could reach her. +
TormTerra (18:25:48): * "Viletta, Genoace Team, take down the lone unit that my guns are pointing at," her guns spun around to aim at the Herald. "Genocade Team, you'll lay down suppression fire on it and the units nearest it so Viletta can line up a clean shot." +
tengusaur (18:26:12): Rani's MAX POWER eye beams cut through one of the Adeles before it can reach her. The other one's beam saber leaves a gash in the Grungust's armor as it turns its head, but then she burns it up as well!

Fri Freeman (18:26:35): Walt: "Roger." Walt raises his hand from behind cover and shoot randomly in the general direction of the enemy+
tengusaur (18:26:47): Brye manages to avoid the boomerang blade, jumping over it.
griefgathering (18:26:47): "Here we go then...!" *Aiming for one of the Testimonies, Lenore lines up her sword so that its blade points behind her, looking like she's going to slash from afar. Minding the enemy's giant blade, she suddenly ignites her sword's thrusters and uses that as propulsion to close the gap - slashing first with her own sword in one hand, then summoning Kazan in her free hand and slicing with it as well!+
Aero (18:27:32): Rani: "That was close..."
cubey@aol.pl (18:28:45): Brye: "That should take some pressure off!"
tengusaur (18:29:08): Viletta: "It's not going to escape my aim so easily... Now! Double cannon, fire!"
Aero (18:30:01): Rani: "Something is off though..."
tengusaur (18:30:04): Walt's suppression fire causes the Herald to sway in mid-air, which lets Viletta launch a clean shot with the beam cannons mounted on the R-Gun's shoulders. The blasts punch through the enemy, blowing it up!
tengusaur (18:30:51): However, the remaining Adeles are not willing to let go that easily, and both of them charge in at Purple Two now, trying to stab it with beam sabers! (react)

TormTerra (18:32:58): * Melee against a flying unit? Purple-2 immediately flung itself backwards, it's defensive guns spinning around to pepper the offenders with bullets and beams as they moved in for the kill. +
tengusaur (18:33:29): Lenore's first strike cuts deeply into the enemy, slashing at one of its weak spots while she stays away from the range of its massive blade. However, as she launches the second strike, the enemy reaches in with its free hand, trying to grab her Craft's shoulder and smash it brutally into the ground! (react)
tengusaur (18:33:50): (Peola and Walt can go)
Aero (18:34:49): * With the Eye Solid Laser having to recharge after being fired at that output, the only thing Rani could do to help defend Purple Two was to send its Boost Knuckles soaring towards the sides of the Adelles to stop them from keeping up their assault. +
Fri Freeman (18:35:03): Walt: "Hm, do we really have to kill all these bots? Is there someone big and heavy enough to push through?"
VJockey (18:35:24): "I can try! Just give me a minute!"
VJockey (18:35:34): *Peola's going to pump as much ki into her machina's legs and shoulder. Her plan? Charge straight through with explosive force to punch a hole through the lines!+
Fri Freeman (18:36:18): Walt: "Good! Everyone support her!"
tengusaur (18:36:40): Between the barrage of energy blasts and physical projectiles going into their direction, and dual rocket punches smashing at them, the Adeles are destroyed before they can reach Purple Two.
Fri Freeman (18:36:43): The Genoace team shoots at the enemies in front of Peola.+
tengusaur (18:36:50): Only Testimonies left at this point.
griefgathering (18:37:25): "Kh!" *Seeing that, Lenore suddenly releases her hold on the blade that already struck, and the Light Arm suddenly surges forth to strike the enemy's lower half! If she can knock it off balance, hopefully that slash will still hit.+
cubey@aol.pl (18:37:29): Brye: "Okay! Looks like only those freaks are left."
cubey@aol.pl (18:37:44): Brye: "We should be able to outrun them!"
Aero (18:38:02): Rani: "I agree, I think they're just trying to buy time for Loni."
tengusaur (18:38:38): The enemy Testimony is knocked off balance by Lenore's hit, its arm missing by a whiff! The second blade cuts into the enemy's weak point, cleaving it apart and blowing it up.
TormTerra (18:38:38): Kei: "Right, that's probably true...But be on your guard, we won't have much early warning if they join up with other enemies to attack us from behind."
tengusaur (18:39:31): One of the last two Testimonies is peppered by DODS shots by the Genoace team, which damage its armor, and then finished off by an explosive brutal shoulder tackle from Peola.
tengusaur (18:39:57): The last remaining one unlodges its gigantic blade and throws it forward towards them like a boomerang, standing on your way to the base!

Two bullets exit the firearm's dual barrels simultaneously, and they seem to be infused with some magical property as they spiral around each other on their trajectory toward the Visitation. They're intended to explode upon impact!+

Aero (19:16:00): * "Where did that come from..." The Grungust attempts to leap out of the way of the beam, raising her T-Link Field at the same time in case she wasn't able to evade. +
tengusaur (19:18:20): Brye and Rani start evading. The former manages to escape most of the beam intact, while the latter's TK field mostly protects the Grungust as the beam trails over her machine. Still, the Grungust is pushed back just from the strength of the beam alone, and suffers light damage.
tengusaur (19:19:25): While the Visitation is doing its attack, however, it gets hit by Lenore's double spiralling shot, which explodes on its surface! The giant monster turns around to face her, distracted, and then gets hit by the R-Gun's double mounted beam cannons again!
tengusaur (19:19:49): The Visitation is pretty heavily damaged, though it's not destroyed yet.
VJockey (19:20:28): *With Lenore and Viletta dealing with the Visitation, Peola's going to try rush past while its distracted! Swinging the broken, sheathed blade at anything that gets in her way.&

Aero (19:30:16): * The hilt of the Lucent Sword suddenly flies through the air and is caught by the Super Robot as it charged towards Visitation. As the shining blade forms the machine spins once to put as much force as possible into a single spinning slash. &
tengusaur (19:30:56): Desta, seeing what Peola is about to do, has to cut his barrage short and evade, or else he'd risk hitting Loni. The shots he fired before that are accurate, though, and they damage Peola's machine.
tengusaur (19:31:44): However, Peola's strike cuts through the Adeles on the way, and forces Loni to evade it desperately, which stops him from going after the seal for a moment.
VJockey (19:33:14): "Hgk...Heh..."
tengusaur (19:33:30): Lenore manages to evade the graviton blast... Partially because Ilinka is suddenly attacked by Brye, which forces her to swerve in order to avoid getting hit head-on by the strike! The stab and following shot still damage her, however, they just don't hit any critical components.
tengusaur (19:34:03): Ilinka: "...I got you now!" At short range she reacts by stabbing at the Huckebein with her blade, aiming at the cockpit! (react)

griefgathering (19:41:19): *Recovering from the burst of speed, Lenore has Iblis come to a stop with a spin. While doing so, she fires multiple times at the Adeles - the bullets exploding in the vicinity of the enemies instead of on impact.+
Aero (19:41:28): * The Grungust pulls its left hand away from the hilt of the Lucent Sword, continuing her slash with a single hand. At the same time she uses her now free hand to match the backhand with her own before taking another step towards the creature to further drive the Lucent Sword into it. +
tengusaur (19:42:47): And then the FightSaber is tackled to the floor, taking physical damage in the process! Shaken, Ilinka tries to react by firing a blast at Peola from point-blank range! (react)

tengusaur (19:46:45): The two punches smash into each other, the armor of both the Grungust and the Visitation cracking. But then Rani drives her giant blade deeper and deeper into the chest of the enemy, which, combined with the previous slashes it received, and damage from other units, is too much for it! The Visitation roads soundlessly and starts falling apart into pieces.

You won't get away for using them like that...!" *Iblis' scarf comes into play again, but this time not as wings - the ends seem to multiply to intercept the enemy's shots as they come. Lenore retaliates with her own shots too, which are now beams meant to cancel out the incoming ones.+
Aero (19:53:06): * "Got it." Rani is breathing heavily after her exchange with the Visitation, she couldn't let that bother her though. She charges through the opening made by Lenore to chase after Desta. The lines on the machine began to glow as more power was poured into the Lucent Sword, when she got close enough she gripped the weapon with both hands before swinging the weapon and unleashing several waves of energy out at her target. +
tengusaur (19:53:35): Peola's energized punch at Ilinka's gun causes a small explosion that knocks both of their machines away from each other, further damaging both!
tengusaur (19:55:10): Lenore and Desta are busy exchanging shots with each other, the vast majority of which collide in mid-air and nullify each other, which means the latter cannot strike back against Rani's assault. ShotSaber ducks under the first energy wave, but the further ones hit it, knocking it off its platform and into a wall!

The Light Arm briefly charges up a golden sphere, which Iblis kicks at the giant enemy, now that there's an opening! The ball of light splits into numerous smaller spheres that will barrage the target with explosions!+

tengusaur (20:19:54): The distracted Guardian gets hit by the ball of light, which explodes into smaller energy projectiles! The attack hits the numerous parts of its body, causing light damage to them.

Aero (20:36:20): *The Lucent Sword tossed and Rani charges straight towards BrightSaber, the seal...that was the most important thing. Her focus was set only on the seal that the machine held. "I won't let you down." Using the last bits of power she had left, she diverted all of it into the thrusters to slam into the BrightSaber and grab the seal...clutching at it as hard as she possibly could given the condition of the Grungust. "I'm taking this!" +
tengusaur (20:37:32): BrightSaber is forced to stop on its feet in order to avoid the blade flying into its direction... At which point it's suddenly shoulder-checked by the Grungust, and lets go off the seal!

tengusaur (20:38:05): Loni: "No! No no no! Give it back! I must have it! I must!"

Aero (20:55:00): Rani's surprise at the combination has been matched by the surprise of suddenly being in close proximity with Brye again. She had to focus on the enemy in front of her though. Even as Loni fired the graviton blast she felt no fear. The Grunbein grabs the weapon in both hands and raises it over her shoulders, a massive amount of energy pours from the sword resembling the light given out by the seal earlier. "We're defeating you here and now!" The weapon is then brought down and the light of the seal erupts out to meet Loni's blast. +
tengusaur (20:55:59): The light fired by Grubein smashes into Loni's graviton blast, overcoming it. Then, it smashes into the BrightSaber itself!

tengusaur (21:09:09): Viletta was busy exchanging beat shots with the escaping Sabers. However, ShotSaber, which is the least damaged, lays covering fire with its dual beam pistols, forcing her to evade as well. Although she grazes them a few times, at this rate they pretty much got away.
tengusaur (21:10:36): Viletta: "...Tch. So much for that. They got away. Regardless...!" R-Gun turns around and fires its cannons at the knee of the giant Guardian, making it stumble for a second!
griefgathering (21:11:54): Light and dark energy slowly gather around Iblis- infusing with its armor as it emits an intense aura.
VJockey (21:11:58): *Peola's going to to try flip away from the Guardian and twist away from the slashes in a rapid display of mechanized acrobatics!+

tengusaur (21:16:46): Hit by the huge barrage of strikes from two Crafts, the Guardian shakes! It tries to turn around and strike, but the barrage immobilizes it, forcing it to at best defend itself.
tengusaur (21:16:57): And it doesn't have enough strength to even do that.
tengusaur (21:17:04): The last strike cracks its head completely.
tengusaur (21:17:10): The Guardian bursts into flames!
tengusaur (21:17:16): Within seconds, there's only ash left of it.
