It's not the killing, is what the darn things do when they expire a final screw you to rob the defenders of victory.

sketchbookfiend (03:32:26): *Since he tanked those bugs fine he moves his attention towards the Kaiju and even at max size it's a bit bigger than him. Just makes it easier to do a maneuver like flying roundhouse kicking it in the side of the head in an attempt to smack it away from the Danger even if only a bit+
Meraxa (03:32:54): Ataru: And here's two more! *He'll try to take those down before they can reach him, specifically aiming to sheer his shots along their sides... assuming their propulsion isn't too crazy, it might throw them off the path!+
cubey@aol.pl (03:33:12): Seeing a large object moving towards it, the kaiju acts on instinct - which is to try to gore Zero's leg with its massive head blade. React!
cubey@aol.pl (03:33:58): One of the Megillots veers wildly off-course, not wanting to be shot dead apparently. The other overshoots Ataru and crashes into the waves.

Ginkan SK (03:34:24): Raquel knows the Kaiju is a thing, but the MEgillots are a problema nd would totally take the Jager from behind. So she's going to go after them she shigts her machine about and rises to meet them opening fire with her head vulcans while she closes, so she can try to catch one of the bugs up close, grab it and maybe if she's lucky slam it into one of it's kin.+

cubey@aol.pl (03:44:25): The Kaiju tries shaking its head to regain composure after the impact - but there goes the hammer blow. You could swear it squeezes its head into a somewhat more compact shape, and there's definitely some kaiju blue showing.

cubey@aol.pl (03:53:50): The megillot you were holding takes on most of that laser fire - and explodes, which means you have a fireball to throw at the other megillot and cause it to fall to the sea as a useless wreck as well. On the other hand, Amazon takes some slight damage.

Meraxa (04:07:53): Ataru: Whoa... *Ataru is... stunned, and his unit kiiiinda forgets to dodge. Hope that cover was worth something!+

cubey@aol.pl (04:09:04): Suddenly, Zero is playing rodeo which puts Knifehead's attack to a halt. But not completely.
cubey@aol.pl (04:09:40): The Beckett brothers tried to dodge as well as fight back, but while evading with Gipsy's body, they exposed the plasma casting arm! It can fire off another shot... before Knifehead rips it right off!
cubey@aol.pl (04:10:03): The limb flies into the sky and falls down into the sea, sending massive waves and almost tumbling over the fishing boat that was so close to safety.

Ginkan SK (04:14:06): Raquel's got another bug down she moves to talk another one, bopefully to buy the crew of the Gipsy some more brehting space at least with the bugs. She halts she sees the looks to see that damage the Danger has taken and she turns from the bugs. She drops her machine down trying to drop kick the Kaiju in the head. "FACE ME MONSTER!"

He was going to solve that as he forcefully switched which arm he was controlling and charged straight in, hand switching into Plasma Caster mode as his Jaeger fell upon the Kaiju like an avalanche of metal!
