tengusaur (00:34:46): Roland: "The enemy power is overwhelming. Everyone who can, assemble into a squad ASAP and help them!"
Overman Zappa (00:35:35): Well, that's as good a time as any for Garrod to finally start pulling his weight
ZebulonCrispi (00:35:55): Suma: "And here I thought this would be a dull evening!"
tengusaur (00:35:58): Huffman: "I presume you heard about the recent incident at Shin Tanoura? With the black dome appearing over the whole city and all. We still have no idea what's going on there, but there are reports that its energy readings are slowly rising."
ZebulonCrispi (00:36:01): Off to the hangar!
Ginkan SK (00:36:24): Raquel was in the middle of the shower as she bolts out changing she doesn't have much time to dry off she's suited up and already maine for her machine. "I can't even get one day off! The one day I give myself a week off training and this is the day something explodes!"

TormTerra (00:36:54): Kei had been running some tests in Purple-2 as the call went out, making her a natural choice for taking up the call to arms. She just needed to turn off the diagnostics and actually launch

Meraxa (00:37:08): ...Ken isn't sure whether he's being let out of his cell for this, means they're desperate and sending anyone - even someone still being punished - or if this means he's officially become a... oh... whats the word...? Ah, he'll remember it, he muses as he boards on the orange, or yellow red as some would say, genoace.
tengusaur (00:37:19): The very large guards, together with Ryouma, leads their most recent prisoner, the infamous terrorist Hayato Jin, into a hangar.
tengusaur (00:37:36): A hangar where three fighter-like craft are waiting. As well as two men.
tengusaur (00:38:13): Dr Saotome: "So this is Hayato Jin, huh? A man fitting for the Getter. And not a moment too early. THEY have made their move."
Fri Freeman (00:38:41): Walt: "Oh well, we might die anytime, why not today? 8th genoace team, launching."
Captain Gardock (00:38:52): Ryoma: "We noticed, gramps! Let's get moving!"
TormTerra (00:39:19): Kei: "Purple-2, launching. Give me an update on the rest of the squad once it's formed."
tengusaur (00:39:27): Saotome: "Ryouma, put Hayato into the Jaguar unit. Make sure he's restrained so he won't escape. Tatsuhito, help him."

Captain Gardock (00:41:30): Ryoma grins as he straps Hayato in. "You're a smart guy, this won't be too hard to get used to. We're gonna fight together."
Fri Freeman (00:41:39): Alice: "Yes, pleased to meet you, lieutenant. This is my first mission."
tengusaur (00:41:51): Saotome: "This is the Saotome Lab! Soon you will control the work of my lifetime against the enemies of all humanity."
Meraxa (00:41:57): Ken: Jinx yourself like that, and something will. *...Walt, 8th Squadron has a tagalong mech.*

tengusaur (00:42:39): It doesn't take far from Sakihama base for the Unity Group people to arrive at the research camp.
tengusaur (00:43:02): You can see the black, opaque dome, which covers the whole area where the town used to be, from afar.
tengusaur (00:43:15): And a research camp on its edge...
tengusaur (00:43:22): A camp that is currently under attack!
tengusaur (00:43:45): Several ESUN mecha are fighting against the enemies, but a few more are already destroyed by the vicious monsters...
tengusaur (00:43:50): And what those monsters are?
ZebulonCrispi (00:43:50): Suma: "Well isn't that a sight."
tengusaur (00:43:53): Well...
tengusaur (00:44:17): One of them is flying over the battlefield, like a warship. Another is emerging from a nearby lake, wrecking havoc at enemies from the ground.
tengusaur (00:44:21): They resemble cyborg dinosaurs.

Overman Zappa (00:45:21): Garrod is a bit overwhelemed. Everyone else has a crew or some crazy magic robot. He's just a kid on his own. Oh well, time to prove his worth. "Gundam X! Taking off!"

Meraxa (00:46:03): Ken: Those aren't dragons. They're dinosaurs! ...Cyborg dinosaurs.
Ginkan SK (00:46:06): Raquel is now scrambling into her machine, she's harnessed in the amps some on line and she gets ready to launch. She lauynches from the base and makes fo the camp she pauses at the dome and doesn't seem to like the look of it. Raquel's already moving in to support the remaining grunts. it's their job to help them right? "Dinosaurs? What the heck is this....?"

TormTerra (00:46:35): Kei: "Those things aren't dinosaurs...One of them has tentacles."

Overman Zappa (00:49:58): Garrod is pretty shocked by the dinosaurs too, but be damned if he's backing out. Taking aim with the beam rifle, Garrod opens up with a few simple shots to build up the morale stat we totally don't use here! Pew pew pew+
Meraxa (00:50:05): Ken: Octopuses don't have that many arms! *And there goes Ken, firing away at the nearest Jiga with total abandon... Aside for the evacuees he's covering+

Fri Freeman (00:50:36): Walt: "Follow his lead! Spread out, keep your distance, and focus fire on the tentacled beast!"
Captain Gardock (00:50:54): Meanwhile! Ryoma and Tatsuhito are in position, and the three jets are loaded onto launching ramps!
Fri Freeman (00:50:58): The third genoace team starts opening fire at the tentacled cyborg mechasaurus thingy.+
tengusaur (00:51:43): The shots by four Genoaces don't seem to do much damage to the Jiga... But they definitely grab its attention! The mechasaurus roars and extends a whole bunch of tentacles, trying to grab them and then swing them around into the ground! (Ken, Walt, react)
Captain Gardock (00:51:46): Ryoma: "Alright! I've been waiting all day for this!"
Overman Zappa (00:51:58): (Dhuurrrr.... one of the Jiga's

tengusaur (00:52:42): Garrod's beam shots hit the Jiga, leaving some burn marks on its hide! Still, the monster is both huge and very tough...

tengusaur (00:53:11): Also, the other Mechasaurus takes this opportunity to fire several missiles from its mechanical "head" at the Gundam X! (react)
kamikasei (00:53:23): Hayato's strapped in to the Jaguar's cockpit, looking about him in bewilderment. It's like the controls were designed by a crazy person, for crazy people.
Captain Gardock (00:53:36): Ryoma: "Tatsuhito, Hayato! Let's go!"
Meraxa (00:53:40): Ken: Hmph! *Ken tries to dodge, testing the flexibility and reflexes of the creature as he goes on to attempt strafing around it+

kamikasei (00:54:18): Hayato: "What the hell is this thing? What do you expect me to do in a machine I've never seen before!"
Overman Zappa (00:54:24): Garrods options are few, so he tries to flee from them, fortunately he catches some air support from the AirMaster, taking shots at the missiles as well.

ZebulonCrispi (00:54:52): * Big monster = big swords! Sefet charges the Jiga, claymore in hand, and starts cleaving at tentacles like there's no tomorrow. +
Captain Gardock (00:55:41): "Heh, ask Tatsuhito or the old man. I'm just going by instinct! LAUNCHING!" The hangar's bay doors open, and all three Get Machines take off at a ridiculously high rate of acceleration!
tengusaur (00:56:06): Tatsuhito: "It's easy, just... urgh...!"
Ginkan SK (00:56:07): *Raquel sees the Genoaces going after the tentacle horror and she also sees Ken s well. "Ken Isn't that thing a friend of yours?" She breaks into a race for the tentacle one to one make sure to cut the tentacles or force them to drop any Genoaces they may get their tentacles on. She's already pojecing ki and it's got enough force that it can with her striker cut through a mecha's armor she lets otu wordless shout s she does so she does not /like/ tentacle creatures oh hell no not when she's got feedback system built into her mech.+
tengusaur (00:56:37): The tentacle monster turns out to be surprisingly fast, and it still grabs Ken with one tentacle! The tentacle then gets cut into severely by Suma, which means that the monster is annoyed and tries to slam into her with a Ken-mace! (react)
tengusaur (00:57:27): Witz helps Garrod with shooting down a few of the missiles, but they still explode close enough to shake the kid around in his cockpit! Gundam X is pretty much unharmed though.
Meraxa (00:58:05): Ken: Nnnngh, not the time for jokes! *Ken remarks as he's tossed about, flailing*
Captain Gardock (00:58:21): "Urk... you weren't kidding when you said these things had some kick!" The extreme G-forces as the ships ascend make Ryoma mildly uncomfortable as well.
Overman Zappa (00:58:37): Garrod: "Th-thanks! I appreciate that."
Witz: "Glad you do, kid! Don't go getting that busted up nowl Gundams aren't cheap."
Captain Gardock (00:59:00): Still...
tengusaur (00:59:22): Tatsuhito: "I'm still okay...! Let's do this, Ryouma!"
ZebulonCrispi (00:59:29): * Suma drops the sword - although it keeps slashing on its own - and turns around to catch Ken as he gets flailed in her direction! At least, she can block the attack, and at best, she can get him free of Jiga's grasp. +
tengusaur (01:01:12): Between Raquel pummelling the tentacle dinosaur ferociously and Suma grabbing Ken, all the caught Genoaces are freed before they can suffer any heavy damage! Though Ken's landing on top of Sefet is kinda heavy...
Captain Gardock (01:01:31): * Ryoma is... no longer flying in formation! A red jet comes into view of the battlefield, as it dive-bombs it, firing missiles. Combining sounded kind of complicated when hey could just ATTACK MINDLESSLY. -
ZebulonCrispi (01:02:14): "Urf." Suma tosses Ken's Genoace off of her like a sack of flour.
Fri Freeman (01:02:29): Walt: "Are you alright, kid!?"
tengusaur (01:02:35): Also, the Jiga turns out to have another trick in its book! It approaches Amazon with surprising agility, and a giant drill emerges from its chest! It tries to pierce you! (react)
ZebulonCrispi (01:02:47): Suma: "The bigger they are, the more I get to cut them."
kamikasei (01:02:54): Hayato's pressed back into his seat by the acceleration! It doesn't look like his controls are actually active yet, so he's carefully watching the indicators to try to decipher what's going on.
Meraxa (01:03:05): Ken: Oof! Why I- Ah!

tengusaur (01:03:43): Ryouma's missiles explode on the flying Mechasaurus' surface, which grabs the creature's attention! It tries to grab the new, incoming red jet with its dinosaur maws and rip it apart! (react/continue?)
Fri Freeman (01:04:05): Walt:"Oh, no, not a drill! I've got that enough in basic training!"
Ginkan SK (01:04:05): *Raquel to the Genoaces "Keep together and focus your attacks." She then find she's under attack by a horrible thing wanting to poke her with it's drill. "...For the love of..." Raquel suddenly finds she's got help however as she does react trying to flip out of the wya.+
Meraxa (01:04:12): Ken flips his machine with a surprising grace, given what it is, before pushing the boosters as hard as he can. Why? To tank that drill with his own machine of course. Not like they haven't got more where that came from+

Overman Zappa (01:04:58): Garrod: "Holy crap that thing is fast!" A boy who spoke too soon.
TormTerra (01:05:47): * Kei was biting her lip, trying to take stock of the situation. None of her training had covered giant monsters, still some things were obvious. "Ryuichi, try to get the attention of the tentacled one and turn it away from Suma. Suma, try to use the largest of your swords to attack its neck. Hopefully it's enough like a dinosaur to die if decapitated." +
Captain Gardock (01:05:59): These things are definitely built to maneuver, and he makes a hard, painful turn out of immediate destruction!
Ginkan SK (01:06:12): Raquel "These things are not exctly cheap fodder...who the hell makes cyborg Kaiju?"

sketchbookfiend (01:06:37): Ryuichi: Already on it! *Aotatsu is going to bullrush towards the Jiga and then leap to try and smash it's shield into the side of it's face.+
Captain Gardock (01:06:38): Tatsuhito: "Ryoma, the Get Machines' weapon systems aren't powerful enough for this! We have to combine!"
Captain Gardock (01:07:08): Ryoma: "Oh, right... haha..."
ZebulonCrispi (01:07:22): Suma: "I like the way you think!"
tengusaur (01:07:58): Raquel gets away from the attacking drill safely... Because Ken gets in its way! The drill shreds his Genoace's armor, dealing really severe damage to it and punching a large hole in it!
ZebulonCrispi (01:08:13): * Rather than use a single sword, Sefet leaps up towards the neck directly, all six swords detaching and forming into a ring around it!
ZebulonCrispi (01:08:38): * If Ryuichi's gambit is successful, a buzzsaw of mech and swords will be hurtling towards the exposed neck. +
tengusaur (01:08:47): Ken's machine is barely holding together... And it's holding together only because Ryuichi throws the giant off-balance with his shield slam!
tengusaur (01:09:03): But now Aotatsu is on the way of the whirring drill too... (Ryuichi react)
Captain Gardock (01:09:14): * Now to do things properly! The three machines get back into a straight line formation with another pass over the battlefield. They're also getting closer together...
Fri Freeman (01:09:27): Walt: "Gah! Kid!"
Meraxa (01:09:36): Ken: ...Heh, better than I thought.
Captain Gardock (01:09:37): Ryoma: "CHAAAAAAANGE! GETTER ONE!"
tengusaur (01:10:03): The mechasaurus raises a lot of tentacles, using them to block the incoming swords and protect its neck! However, many of the tentacles are bleeding, and two of them get severed.
ZebulonCrispi (01:10:16): Suma: "Hah! You're a tenacious bastard, aren't you?"
tengusaur (01:10:30): But now it's trying to use those tentacles to grab... A large piece of rubble, and throw it into Purple Two's direction! (react)
tengusaur (01:10:42): Either the creature knew where the order came from, or it perceived it as an easy target!
Overman Zappa (01:10:46): Garrod: "Are they really doing to crash into eachother!?"
sketchbookfiend (01:10:52): *Aotatsu puts his Shield between him and the drill, edging it just so to try and have it slide past him with the buff of a water current swirling over the shield's surface.+

Captain Gardock (01:11:44): After a physicaly inexplicable transformation sequence, a new mech drops into the melee!

Garrod: "Those little things... literally just made that!?"
ZebulonCrispi (01:12:23): Suma: "Well, well, what have we here?"
Captain Gardock (01:12:47): And it's that same mechasaurus Getter Robo charges, punching it in the face! +

Meraxa (01:13:26): There is a slight, childlike glee in Ken's voice.
tengusaur (01:13:33): The drill slides off Aotatsu's shield, but it still sends a buttload of sparks around and leaves a deep gash in it! If the creature attacked you for longer, it'd be bad...
tengusaur (01:14:34): Getter Robo rushes in, punching through the incoming missiles and, among the explosions, hitting the flying Mechasaurus into one of its heads, drawing blood and knocking a few teeth out!
tengusaur (01:15:25): Raquel punches the large block into tiny, useless pieces that fly everywhere around and don't really deal any damage to anything.
Fri Freeman (01:15:30): Walt: "I saw various mechs combine into one before. In the scrapyard, into a pile. But this one is really different."
Captain Gardock (01:15:31): Tatsuhito: "Ryoma... you have actual weapons..." Somebody's rough-and-tumble fighting style isn't going so well for his injured copilot.
TormTerra (01:15:50): * Immediately looking away from the sensors, Kei hit the button to her vulcans while pressing the thrust to try to push herself up and out of the path of the rubble. Hopefully it would be enough, reaction times were worse than if she'd been focused on piloting rather than data management. +
Captain Gardock (01:16:21): Ryoma: "I'll get to that later!"
kamikasei (01:16:36): Hayato: "Ahahaha... HA HA HA!"
tengusaur (01:16:42): This means Kei is undamaged, obviously, and her vulcans hit the tentacle monstrosity, though they don't do that much damage to it.

kamikasei (01:17:07): Suddenly a bunch of bizarre stuff from those stolen files makes sense!
Captain Gardock (01:17:14): Tatsuhito: "Ah... well... you're all with Unity Group, aren't you?"
Meraxa (01:17:24): Ken: W-We are! Sir!
sketchbookfiend (01:17:26): Ryuichi: "That we would be yeah."
Overman Zappa (01:17:40): Garrod: "For the most part."
tengusaur (01:17:48): (Environment description, since people ask for it - you are in a temporary camp set on the edge of where the city used to be, among abandoned buildings)
tengusaur (01:18:10): (The camp consists mostly of tents and prefab constructions)
tengusaur (01:19:07): And then, suddenly, you all receive a radio message!
Captain Gardock (01:19:21): Tatsuhito: "I'm Tatsuhito Saotome. There will be more of these reptiloid enemies... my father designed this super robot to combat them. Right now, our goals are the same. My comrades and I would be honored to fight with you."
tengusaur (01:19:49): Huffman: "It's starting! The energy readings from the dome are spiking. Keep your eyes peeled, who knows what will happen now?"
tengusaur (01:20:09): You can see a ripple on the side of the previously unmoving dome!
ZebulonCrispi (01:20:19): Suma: "Marvelous! This many against only two foes was hardly sporting."
tengusaur (01:20:21): You can feel a sort of a pulse in the atmosphere...
tengusaur (01:20:44): And out of the dome, something comes out...
tengusaur (01:20:49): It looks like... A hand.
TormTerra (01:21:09): Kei: "This isn't a game, there are civilians there!"
tengusaur (01:21:10): A giant, fleshy hand.

tengusaur (01:21:25): Soon, the rest of the body attached to the hand appears.
tengusaur (01:21:49): What emerges looks like... A Genoace. A Genoace made not out of metal, but raw flesh, and bone, and sinew.
Captain Gardock (01:22:00): Ryoma: "What the hell? This is even weirder than the lizards!"
tengusaur (01:22:03): It drops down to all fours and looks around, visibly sniffing like a dog.
Meraxa (01:22:09): Ken: ...Its a... genoace?
tengusaur (01:22:20): And then another creature emerges, also resembling a robot.
tengusaur (01:22:23): But this one...
tengusaur (01:22:28): Is Raquel's Amazon.
tengusaur (01:22:39): And then a third one... But this resembles the Getter-1.
ZebulonCrispi (01:22:44): Suma. "Heheheh... rare are the things in this world which can truly surpise me, but today I found one more."
tengusaur (01:22:55): And several more, one by one. They all look like perverse abominations of your own mecha!
Captain Gardock (01:23:05): Tatsuhito: "What in god's name..."
tengusaur (01:23:07): None of them are flying, all of them are on the ground, looking and sniffing around.
tengusaur (01:23:22): They seem... Curious. They are slowly moving forward, exploring the environment.
Meraxa (01:24:10): Ken: I... don't think they're with the dinosaurs. Whatever they are.
Fri Freeman (01:24:11): Walt: "Huh. What are they doing?"

tengusaur (01:24:12): They move in weird, unnatural manners, twitching, limbs bending in strange ways. But they don't seem aggressive.
Ginkan SK (01:24:14): "We are with the unity group and very well. It's good to have you with us, Mr. Saotome."

TormTerra (01:24:31): Rather than shock, Kei felt a distinct sense of discomfort at the sight. That was disgusting and deeply wrong, where did those things come from? "Focus, we're here to prevent civilian casualties and end the threat if possible. If possible, try to get them to fight the dinosaurs."
Ginkan SK (01:24:38): "What in the ... hell why does it look like mine?!
tengusaur (01:24:52): One of the evacuating scientists stares at those things in disbelief. Then he raises a megaphone and says a cliche phrase.
Overman Zappa (01:24:59): Garrod: "Great, weird dinosarus and now weird fleshy robot things. What did I get myself into!?"
tengusaur (01:25:03): Scientist: "We... Ahem. We come in peace."
tengusaur (01:25:11): And then, suddenly, you receive a radio message!
tengusaur (01:25:26): It's full of static, and the voice speaking sounds awkward and almost unrecognizable.
tengusaur (01:25:31): Voice: "Hello."
Meraxa (01:25:49): Ken: ...H-Hello...? Who is this?

tengusaur (01:36:45): Between Ryouma's tomahawk and Garrod's beam saber cutting into the monster's neck, one of the Mechasaurus's heads is severed bloodily and falls to the ground into a mess! One of the fleshy monsters leaps towards it and rips out a few chunks of it, swallowing them nastily...

She's now going to turn bout, and go after the fleshie double of her own machine. Since it's made of flesh? This is where it gets mesn she's attacking vital points like one would a human, and in somewhat some of her moves are very much like a certain Shura's whose dropped in before. She's clearly trying to flat out kill this thing. "YOU THINK YOU CAN COPY ME SO EASILY!"+

But her opponent is still moving, opens its mouth (Amazon shouldn't even have one!) and tries to bite its enemy's head off!

Captain Gardock (01:43:29): * "GETTER WING!" That cape from the image linked technically wasn't there yet but it is now! It doesn't look much like an actual propulsion system, but Getter-1 lifts into the sky all the same, lunging after the wounded flying Mechasaurus. The Tomahawk also seems to have behaved like a boomerang after all, and he catches it before reaching the enemy, taking a hard swing at lopping off the other head. +
tengusaur (01:44:53): Walt and company pepper the fleshy Aotatsu with beam spray fire, ripping more holes in its body! It falls down to the ground in a bloody pile... But that pile is already starting to regenerate back into its former self!

With every strike its blood splatters around, reducing its head to more and more of a misshapen mess. But also cracks in Sefet's armor deepen, and it's starting to get dangerous now... Stabbing it with swords pushes the monstrosity back, though.

It's hard to tell but her fists laches in a powerful punch into the fleshy amazon and she unleahses a burst of Flames hoping to cook the thing from the inside.+

tengusaur (02:37:27): Getter suddenly separates into three fighters, escaping Jiga's grasp! The Mechasaurus seems to be surprised by this.

tengusaur (02:57:04): Seeing something clasp around its head, the fake Getter goes with its instinct and bites it hard, damaging the real one's claw. But then its head explodes in a shower of blood and guts! The initial attack was dodged thanks to multiple images of course.

tengusaur (03:15:40): One of those creatures is still slowly approaching the upper half of the Genoace, though. Baring its teeth. Walt can see it clearly, through the ripped hole in his cockpit.

tengusaur (03:16:30): On the bright side, the research staff has pretty much evacuated already. All that's left is you and the few pilots who were downed but are still alive.

So Getter-2 will fly up into the sky like zoom, speeding after the reptiloid mech on a rocket jetpack that has way too much high speed man!+

tengusaur (03:21:00): And then, this.
tengusaur (03:21:21): And the monster, stunned by the explosion, slowly regains its senses, and now it's looming over Walt's body.
kamikasei (03:21:29): Of course, while he's doing this, Hayato keeps an eye on the readings from the other cockpits. It looks like the injured co-pilot isn't handling the strain well. This acceleration might knock him out entirely...
tengusaur (03:22:02): But then, Ken hits the monster in the shoulder with his Kunai!
tengusaur (03:22:20): This small metal dart, for fighting human-sized enemies, doesn't deal any real damage to it.
tengusaur (03:22:27): Just draws its attention to him.
