She flips off the couch and is no getting up and is heading for the hanger. "Finally no more of this sitting around. Been too long since I had an actual fight!" With that she's almost at the hangers she's got to get into her flight suit or perhaps poured really quick.

That's not uncommon. Roy Fokker doesn't remember a lot of yesterdays. He doesn't recall a lot of bygones, or thens, or that times, either. The faces of people flow together like the alcohol in the glass, often aided by the alcohol in the glass. He doesn't remember where he went, or who he was with (it was probably Claudia, though - he had something with her, he could feel it), or what he dranks (besides "a lot").
Gil (02:09:02): But nothing could make Roy Fokker forget how this feels. The roar of the engines were a better nurse for his hangover than the coffee, the thrum of the Valkyrie a better massage than most of his lovers, the familiar scent of the cockpit's recycled air an inestimable comfort. "Skull Leader, taxiing onto the runway!" Roy reports as the VF-1 moves for the takeoff zone.

Overman Zappa (02:11:20): Banjou makes a loud call out to the sky; "DAITARN! COME HERE!" And in moments here comes the big blue giant, hovering over base and carrying Banjou up on a tow line.
kamikasei (02:11:21): Hayato takes a brief detour so that, when he comes running into the hangar, it's from a less suspicious direction. "Get the Jaguar ready! I'll head out alone for now!"

tengusaur (02:14:34): Roger: "So you are humans, then. Why do you attack this base? What do you hope to accomplish by this?"
Ginkan SK (02:14:36): Raquel makes it to the hanger and she's already stripping out of her off duty clothes and rapidly putting on the form fitting and sensor studded flight suit that let her control the Amazon Huckabine. She pulls her head band back on and scrambles for the machine yelling at the techs to get clear. Several bolt out of her way as she does this and she's vaults into the machine's open hatch. She take a moment to get hooked into the harness and the machine's hatch seals up. With her locked in place the optics of the huckabine flare u-p and it's bolting out tie hanger moving more like a living thing than a machine.

The AI chimes that all vitals are green and ready to go, but it was a bit behind her. The ki amp seems to be online as she moves out with the other pilots and she opens a channel.

"You sure you want some of this? Just one of us alone would be enough to deal with trash like you. Turn about if you want to keep going. If not? I won't hold back!"

Gil (02:15:09): Skull Squadron is right on Roy's tail. They launch, some radio banter tossed about - mostly what (or whom) they did last night. Roy answers every question with 'got me' or 'I don't remember', or some iteration thereof, as they fly towards the target zone.

Base defense. Roy hated base defense.

"Skull-2, Skull-3, you're with me! We're going Battroid, shore up those lines! Skull-4, 5, 6, stay air support, back up the super robots! We'll run defense for now - leave the big shots to the big guys!"

The super robots fall out of the base as the Valkyries transform. It falls to the ground with a satisfying *thump* as Roy immediately pulls the trigger, spraying bullets towards the mysterious units. Roy didn't care who they were or what they wanted - they were the enemy. That meant they had to go.

"Skull Leader to all super robots - you boys got nothin' to worry about with us backing you up!"

Gil (02:20:44): *Skull Squadron immediately moves as one. They're well-trained and well-disciplined. Roy grabs the radio and lets out a wild whoop as his Battroid closes in. "Alright, Skulls, let's show these super-jockeys that good ol' guns and missiles do the job just as well as a rocket punch! Whiskey Tango, on the double!"

*Skull-2 and -3 laugh. "You know what the worst part about flying with Commander Fokker is?" -2 asks.

*"How you can't tell if he's ordering a drink or giving you orders?" -3 laughs.

*"Can't it be both?" Roy interrupts with a laugh. The Skull pilots join in as Roy charges forward.
Gil (02:20:48): *Whiskey Tango is a favored of the Skull Squadron. Roy's machine transforms into Fighter mode as he charges the enemy, a suicidal-looking charge akin to a game of chicken. At the last minute, he pulls up, switching to Battroid Mode above the enemy. His wingmen come in behind him in Gerwalk mode, unloading ammunition into the foe to pin it down - and then Roy's Battroid comes smashing down on the target from above!

Aero (02:25:11): *The good old Gespenst Type-R draws the large beam rifle stored on it's back as it dashes towards th Chain Yobs. "This feels nostalgic." The black Phantom's visor flashes as it takes aim. "Neutron Beam!" And unleashes a large pink beam at the piles of junk.+
Gil (02:25:18): "Hey, hey!" Roy radios, "It's not the weapon, it's the guy inside!"
ZebulonCrispi (02:25:23): Kouji: "Feel the power of the super robot my grandpa built! ROCKEEEEET PUUUUUNCH!"

*Raquel: "Copy that skull leader, I have heard of your unit. All I'll need is a bit of ranged cover, make sure no one tries to flank us."

Her machine heads in as she looks at the units that are attacking. The machines were old and this was't really a fair or even worthy battle. She just hoped they'd give her a fight as she lunges in and calls out to Shinji on the radio.

"Don't put their lives above your own, Shinji. Still these idiots are asking for a beating."

With that the Amazon charges in and will pounce on the first machine she can get to. Which she'll start rapidly striking with the machine's fists looking for weak points and is yes trying to disable and avoid the cockpit block. Otherwise? She's not holding back too much.+

But if you don't fight with everything you've got, everything you care about - everybody you care about - is gonna die. Because those guys don't care how hard it is to kill someone. Those guys don't care how much it sucks to feel in your chest, that moment when you end a life. Those guys are going to kill everything and everyone you've ever known because they're on the other side of the glass."

Before anyone has much chance to react, it's at the side of the enemy line, drill arm pointed towards their advance. "Getter Hurricane!" The drill spins up, generating a whirling vortex to lash at and topple the Blaze Yobs caught within it! In the aftermath, Hayato swoops on the nearest enemy, aiming to grab it headfirst in the Getter's claw and pluck it out of the way!+

Captain Gardock (02:34:56): Shinji grits his teeth. Encouragement doesn't always get the best reaction out of him. Still, if they want to capture some of these guys anyway...

Ginkan SK (02:35:59): Raquel gets a flamethrower, that is a problem. A robot can take the heat, but the pilot can get roasted she has other options as she moves to pull back from the hostile unit as she's got another plan. Roy speaks wisdom. When it gets easy to kill? When you don't feel anything about it. However she's going to press the attack, she's agressive and thinks she can bring the other machine down before he can cook her. "YOU THINK THAT WILL STOP ME?! "
Captain Gardock (02:36:31): *Unit 01 finally springs out of its launch platform, grabbing an assault rifle from a nearby one in the process. It kneels near the base while Shinji takes aim, being careful to lead his shots... and aims low, shooting at the legs of a pair of Muzzle Yobs. +
cubey@aol.pl (02:39:05): The Amazon Huckebein starts to accumulate damage and its outer armor melts a little... but only a little, as you manage to ATATATATA one of the yobs into submission, and the rest get thrown around by Hayato!
Aero (02:39:10): * "Now then..." Ring draws a Plasma Cutter with her free arm, setting her sights on the nearest Yob to her. "Let's continue." She rushes at it and seems to be trying to cut off the arms of the machine &

"Actually, with that robot? It was probably like one in five," Skull-2 corrects.

"Since when were you a math wizard?" Roy demands.

"Since when were you Harrison Ford?" Skull-2 counters.

"Since when was I *not* Harrison Ford?" Roy ripostes.

"I...I can't tell how serious you are about that question," Skull-2 admits.

"Only three things I never joke about, boys. Alcohol, planes, and action movies!" Roy laughs.
Gil (02:41:30): "What about women?" Skull-6 radios.

The entire squadron laughs.

*Roy shifts to Valkyrie mode in the space of a heartbeat, venting the engines and burning them bright. The Valkyrie smashes into Skull-3's Battroid, knocking it off to the side as the explosive flamethrower leaps out. Fire catchs the Valkyrie by the tail, and Roy fumbles with the controls to try and keep it in the air.
Gil (03:12:17): *Roy smashes into the ground. The Valkyrie sputters for a moment, and Roy furiously mashes the pedals. Great. What a shitty way to die.

*"Skull Squadron, confirm! Check in! Check in now!" Roy shouts desperately.

But that's not the end of it - Getter-2 splits apart as soon as the drill's away, the three Getter Machine jets flying up and changing formation under the guidance of Hayato and the autopilots, reforming on the ground in a squat tank shape, which launches projectiles of its own. Roy Fokker has taken the Double-Decker Double Deck Challenge, which involved more alcohol than most people have room for in their liver and no less than three different groups of bikini-clad women who may have been entirely imagined. It also involved a trip to the hospital, a stomach pump, and a very hot nurse whose number Roy did not get because he was busy throwing up and it's hard to be cool when you're throwing up.

*OF COURSE IT HAS TWO MOUTHS, FOKKER, IT'S A KAIJU

*Roy finds his Valkyrie headfirst in the Kaiju's jaws, with only the Daitarn Javelin to support him. The teeth close in, sinking into the armor. Roy's systems start flashing that annoying screaming sound, the WHOOT WHOOT WHOOT WHOOT in all sci-fi TV ever. Roy's pretty sure they came up with that sound because somebody on the development team hated everyone forever.

Gil (04:05:19): *Roy kills his radio as he starts swearing. It'd be uncool of him to act like he was in danger. He shoves the Valkyrie's shoulder up into the Kaiju's mouth, propping the mouth open with the Battroid itself. Rapidly and without much concern for things like 'safety' or 'aim', Roy shifts, firing the gunpod wildly into the Kaiju's throat. The few remaining missiles he has are launched down in for good measure, but between the Massacre, the Tequile Sunrise, and the Daitarn Daedalus, he's running reaaaally low. Really dangerously low.

*Kaiju Blue covers the Skull Valkyrie. Roy swears again, more creatively. It's seeping into the system. That's...that's bad. THat's really bad.

*The Karloff rears back for a headbutt, and Roy sees his chance.

Should be be able to succeed in her plan, if not this could become quite the brawl.

cubey@aol.pl (04:31:34): Before it can chomp down on an Evangelion, the kaiju finds that something else is blocking its mouth - the Big O's hands are a much less tasty morsel! One it will still try to bite through, though. Damage starts to accumulate on the black armor, but the kaiju weakens with every second of prog knife shanking.
VJockey (04:31:37): *Now. Leos had two options here. Struggle with the blade, turn it off as he moved forward - risking a horrific gash in Pale Rider's side before jamming his laser rifle into the enemy machine's torso and repeatedly fire into it. Or keep pushing, and then use the lock to deliver a jarring kick to the enemy machine's groin to rattle it hard so he can attempt a headbutt. Headbutt it is!!!+
