01[18:05] [@Cubey] The rumors are already starting to spread in the fleet and the atmosphere is uneasy. But for now, you need to get out of here. There is only one problem.

01[18:06] [@Cubey] She has split off from the rest and currently is who knows where.
01[18:07] [@Cubey] It looks like you'll have to leave her behind. Well, it's not that Batavia is a very dangerous place, is it?

[18:09] [Corel] Fyra is standing on the deck of a ship as this happens in the distance.

[18:09] [Terra] Alex: "Damn." She doesn't summon Enki quite yet, it's fast to do so, she does however move to make some space so that she doesn't crush anybody vital when she does. "It will. I'm not leaving until my father's safe. He's somewhere around here."
[18:10] [Corel] The rider observes the goings-on with some uncertainty. But there is what she talked about with Sielje before.
[18:11] [Tengu] As soon as it's clear the fleet is under attack, Daniel moves towards a large object covered with a tarp, and pulls it off. Though he removes several crates of fish someone put on it before that.

01[18:14] [@Cubey] You receive a transmission - the face of a middle aged, somewhat fat man appears on your monitors.

[18:15] [Raquel] Raquel "Okay what do you want...then?" She has no guns to put down but keeps her machine's arms lowered for the moment.
[18:15] [Terra] At least Alex can easily comply with that, she's not holding any and Enki hasn't been summoned yet either. "...What the hell does /this/ place have to do with Vlaanders?" She hesitates for a bit. "It's because of me, isn't it?"

[18:42] [Terra] While she'd been running, Alex was still far away from being able to help either the children or prevent her father from getting caught in the crossfire of the fight that seemed destined to start. Instead she simply pushed on, watching everything fall apart even further around her

[18:44] [frifreeman] That voice, it's Grace! She's not in her usual Daughtress Custom though, the transmission comes from a slightly beat-up Lion with the Batavia Security Force insignia
01[18:44] [@Cubey] Seeing something move, Sapphire Eyes' mercenaries fire! Two mobile suits have taken fortified positions, each one equipped with a huge beam gatling gun. And Jen is now in crossfire of the double beam barrage!

[18:46] [Arachnion] *With a rather loud string of curses, Jen breaks off her attack and moves to dodge those beam gatlings, find some cover, something.+

Now Enki was in place to throw itself between the guarlion and the civilian standing on the deck. She might fail, but at least she had a chance at saving her father. The Amzon is alreayd launching into the fight intending to end up in a brawl with some of the Guarlions which she's going to try to pick apar tin close combat, intending to leave only the cockpit blocks unharmed.+

[18:57] [frifreeman] Grace charges toward Sapphire Eyes' TSF and fire a couple of shots from her mech's railgun. "What happened to the guy I sold the thing to?"+
[18:57] [Arachnion] *Jen: "I was going to have a nice day. It was going fine this morning..." She opens fire on the nearest desperados with her rail pistol.+
[18:58] [Terra] * With the bullet stopped, Alex followed up on her move by drawing from the ocean underneath. "Yes." Her father only gets a brief reply as the battle consumes her attention. Even if they were on it rather than in it, the ocean was Enki's environment for battle and with a few quick moves of the god's hands, the churning water is swept up in a powerful waterspout crashing down on the terrorist...
[18:58] [Terra] ...leader. Even as it did so, another swept up, coming in from the side to overwhelm the guarlion's ability to easily use its thrusters to compensate. +
[18:58] [Tengu] Daniel: "Sapphire Eyes got him. Sorry."
[18:58] [Tengu] Daniel: "Why'd you sell it?"
01[18:58] [@Cubey] The Desperado is forced in a defensive position - it hides behind improvised cover, raising the shovel for protection but still taking serious damage. It is not exactly a combat mobile suit after all.
01[18:59] [@Cubey] However the Shaldoll behind it fires again, its pilot still keeping an aim at Jen while probably laughing maniacally! The air is full of beams, react.
01[18:59] [@Cubey] Sapphire Eyes: "Who cares?"
01[18:59] [@Cubey] Sapphire Eyes: "Well, okay. He's dead. You know whose fault is it, isn't it?"
01[19:00] [@Cubey] The TSF strafes between the railgun shots, letting them punch holes in the deck. "Yours!"
[19:00] [frifreeman] Grace:"...because it pays great? It's not like I have some personal attachment to the hunk of junk.... Someone here apparently heard that it's the last trace of the mysterious train or something, and he'd like to get his hand on it."
[19:01] [Arachnion] *"Jesus!" Jen dives and rolls to dodge, keeping firing as she slides along the deck of the ship.+
01[19:01] [@Cubey] Sapphire Eyes: "I'll obtain you regardless!" Suddenly three mecha-sized knives appear in her TSF's hand, and are quickly thrown back, flying at deadly speed towards the lion. React!

[19:02] [frifreeman] Grace: "Gah!" Grace swerve sideways from her charge to dodge the mecha knife and circle around Sapphire Eyes. "And can't you shoot at somewhere that's not full of people?"+
01[19:02] [@Cubey] Pieter: "I know you are soft-hearted enough, fighting here will endanger more people so... gah!"
01[19:03] [@Cubey] His monologue is interrupted by a burst of water which pushes the Guarlion away, its pilot trying to force his way through it, also swinging the arms around and trying to (rather clumsily) quickly draw an assault blade.
[19:04] [Tengu] Daniel: "You won't obtain anything." Suddenly Steel Wanderer's hand is holding a gun that was safely sitting in its holster just a moment ago! Daniel slams the hammer, quickly firing three armor-piercing Longinus bullets, aiming with supreme accuracy at the knives. +
01[19:04] [@Cubey] However, at the same time the other Vlaams Leger members won't have you just attack their leader without interruption. The Eagles zoom in formation, flanking and trying to surround Enki - their assault cannons blazing with gunfire! React.

01[19:05] [@Cubey] The beam gatling cannot fire low without its user getting away from the barricade, so the shots pass over Jen and Cethlenn.
01[19:05] [@Cubey] At the same time, the Desperado is hit in the helmet and falls to the ground, smoking and limp.
01[19:06] [@Cubey] Two knives are shot down by Daniel! The third remains, but Grace manages to avoid it.
01[19:06] [@Cubey] Sapphire Eyes: "Don't you know that having an audience around makes things more exciting?"

[19:08] [Terra] * Moving to deal with the new distraction, Alex spins around again, dragging up more water to both shield herself and strike out at the attackers. It was the ocean, there was virtually infinite water to work with, it was all a matter of control. But with the number of enemies, it took all she had to do more than draw up a swirling vortex surrounding her and her father to absorb and deflect...
[19:08] [Terra] ...the force of the bullets with only a few unsteady, unaimed shots getting fired from the sides to try to force the terrorists back. +
01[19:10] [@Cubey] One of the Eagles is hit by a water shot and falls into the water, its pilot unable to regain balance in time. The three others force Enki into defense, the barrier spread too thin to fully protect from all the rounds.
[19:10] [Tengu] Daniel: "Some of them are in the water. Watch out." He hides behind a metal crate, ejects the empty shells and loads a Lucia energy generator into the Gun of God. Steel Wanderer then jumps on top of its cover and proceeds to quickly send sprays of beam shots towards the Phantoms, making sure no bystanders are in the way of fire! +
[19:11] [Raquel] has one way or another got to her mech got poured into her pilot suit and she's ready to go. 01[19:12] [@Cubey] The Phantoms have relatively thick armor for TSFs - but one of them suddenly has its torso melted through, and falls down to the deck.
[19:12] [Corel] *The flying crescent blade from earlier is still around, and it zips in one direction, threatening to cut across the Shaldolls' positions!&
[19:12] [Terra] Alex winced as she felt the shock of the hits run through Enki, still, the god-robot remained standing for now and that was what mattered. She just needed to hold out and find a way out of this mess.

As she did so, she grabbed more from the other side of the ship to shoot up beneath one of the guarlions to swallow it up from below and dragging it into the waves. +

01[19:28] [@Cubey] One of the TSFs is slammed into by a powerful surge of water, and at the same time a Guarlion was busy attacking Raquel - before its pilot suddenly notices a column of sea rising and swallowing up the unit!

01[19:28] [@Cubey] The heavy Guarlion regained its balance, and now opens its missile pods. Two homing projectiles are fired - one going for Enki, but the other targetting the human under its feet!

The gun clicks dry a few more times before Daniel calms down a little and turns around, only now the shots exploding. +

Hesitating for a few seconds to try to bring herself under control, she doesn't feel the anger dissipate, but she does start asserting some more control over it as Enki...

Hammering at it with her robots hands as she runs to jump off the sinking hull to a nearby ship, she forges it into a razorsharp javelin that she throws directly at the joking goddess, using the momentum of her jump to power the toss. +

The first shot spreads into a net of sticky foam upon impact - and the second one separates mid-flight into a dozen or so tiny pieces, which then unfold into a fully-sized armor piercing bullet each! +

[21:29] [Corel] Even in the face of a giant chomping lion-like head, Fyra's expression does not change much. However, she nods.
[21:30] [Terra] * Alex comes to a halt, spinning around after the ship has been dealt with, steadying herself to draw on Enki's full power to control the waters. Pulling the ocean up, she drags the two halves of the broken ship back out at the water returning Ishtat's favor by flinging them back at her. "Look out...Can't aim these things very well." +
[21:31] [Corel] *The polearm is swung across Ishtar's form, but there is a flash as its blade, only straight moments ago, suddenly flips to one side, taking the form of a full scythe!

01[21:33] [@Cubey] This device may have powerful abilities to disintergrate most things (or perhaps it doesn't, who knows?) but against Ishtar... it manages to hold her for a bit. Long enough for the ship to be returned, and crash into her!
