VJockey (02:49:55): *Their job was to keep the Kaiju off of Striker and that was what they were going to do. Rather than risk the creature managing to get around them with the speed it was going at, Raleigh and Mako lunge forward to meet its charge and grapple with it!+
tormterra (02:51:01): * Well, this was it. Time to see what Enki could really do with water. "Got it." Taking a deep breath, Alex starts speeding ahead, cutting through the water with grace of ease, sweeping up powerful currents behind her. As she comes in front of the kaiju, she pulls back Enki's hand, gathering the swirling vortex around it, compressing the water before punching ahead, releasing the energy within it in a single, incredible torrent. +
cubey@aol.pl (02:52:31): All four of Scunner's arms reach down on Gipsy Danger. It lets the Jaeger grapple with it - but its massive arms are quickly starting to overcome it with brute force alone!

cubey@aol.pl (02:53:24): The torrent of water strikes into Scunner, slamming the Kaiju and making its head raise as it roars underwater (the grappling still continues though).

VJockey (02:55:54): *As it turns out the impact that Alex made allowed Gipsy to disengage from the grapple with one of its arms. Said arm was now readying one of the chain blades - having it lock into form before attempting to stab the whole thing through the Kaiju's neck!+

tormterra (02:56:50): * Even in Enki's native element dodging something like that out of nowhere wasn't easy. Performing a quick sweep with the feet, Alex pulled the water away from underneath Enki, allowing gravity to do its work faster than Enki could move on its own, slipping downwards to go beneath the monster. +
cubey@aol.pl (02:57:30): Scunner receives a shallow wound to its neck - it is really tough! However it still has two hands to hold Gipsy with - and proceeds to use them to swing the Jaeger and throw it away!

aldo salt (02:58:42): Alexis stares at the crocodilian Kaiju. "Da, a little!" He snorts. "I think this one's more dangerous!"

tengusaur (03:00:29): Hetepheres: "Into the darkness it goes. I shall lure it out!" Scaraber takes on a solid stance, digging its feet into the ocean floor, then takes a swing and sends a pincer rocket punch flying towards Raiju! The attack is followed by two condensed lasers shooting from the eyestalks on its helmet! +
aldo salt (03:01:38): Cherno Alpha sticks near Striker: with its slow speed, it could wander out of support range and not be able to return in time. So they Kaidonovksys will wait…wait for one of the Kaiju to draw close...
tormterra (03:02:04): Alex: "Enki's the god of water. I should be able to take care of myself here at least." The levity of her words isn't quite reflected in her voice, but at least she tries
cubey@aol.pl (03:02:23): Underwater, Raiju is fast like greased lightning. It zips around the pincer punch and returns for another swoop. Its mouth opens - the jaw splitting into three parts, as it prepares to chomp down on Scaraber as it passes by!

VJockey (03:04:47): [After that impact, they were quickly doing their best to pick themselves up. No point leaving themselves open for another attack.]

tengusaur (03:05:06): Hetepheres: "Good. Come to me, to the slaughter." She fires eyestalk lasers directly into that giant mouth. And, as the Kaiju gets closer, suddenly a turbine activates in Crab Frame's back armor, and Scaraber dashes rapidly to the side, jumping off the sea floor! +

aldo salt (03:06:21): *Cherno turns towards Scunner. It has just one ranged weapons to speak of…but it's a doozy. "Incincerator Turbines!" Cherno fires twin streams of burning incendiaries in the Cat 4's direction, and though they don't go as far, they form a barrier of caustic burning, bubbling underwater fire that'll scorch anything that draws near…and conceals their position like a squid's ink!+

tormterra (03:07:13): * Quickly recovering from the hit, Alex followed the direction Hetepheres had chased the kaiju in to avoid her getting caught out on her own. Coming up on it, she made a quick move to gather the water above the head of the monster, knocking it down and to the side, away from the Gebian general. +
cubey@aol.pl (03:08:51): Raiju's mouth closes rapidly after being bombarded with lasers. It is smacked down by water manipulated by Enki, and its body misses the dodging Scaraber.

cubey@aol.pl (03:10:03): Seeing Cherno deploy its fiery attack, Scunner... actually acts smart for a kaiju and falls back, deeper into the water.
cubey@aol.pl (03:10:26): Its large shape can be seen in the murk, but for now it is not engaged in battle with anyone.
tengusaur (03:10:27): Scaraber spins away before regaining balance, floating mid-water. It reattaches the incoming pincer.

tengusaur (03:12:09): Hetepheres: "Extremely fast, despite its size. Imagine how powerful the next iteration of Kaiju might be. Fortunately Crab Frame has the strongest armor from all Gebian units."
VJockey (03:12:37): *Right now priority would be on making sure Striker gets to the Breach in one piece. Taking the offensive would be a bad move given that they're on the Kaiju's playing field as well. Gipsy moves through the water to watch Striker's back!+
tormterra (03:14:11): * Following up on her previous attack, Alex continues her movements sweeping the water away underneath raiju while sweeping water in above it, manipulating the pressure around it to slam it downwards into the ocean floor below. +
cubey@aol.pl (03:15:58): Raiju decides that it can't just fall back - while it continues being under pressure, it swims towards Enki, trying to grab the god with one or both of its arms!

VJockey (03:18:03): *See, the thing is Mako never retracted the blade that was protruding from the arm on her side of the Jaeger. Something she was going to make great use of now alongside physics by raising it in front of the Jaeger like a shield - edge facing the incoming Kaijiu+

Instead she pushes the water underneath her aside, propelling her upwards and above the kaiju, firing a series of quick water blasts as she spun above it to either damage it or at least keep its attention away from less mobile members of the team. +

aldo salt (03:25:14): *As Scunner draws near, Cherno raises its fist, then brings it down knuckle first on Scunner's skull mustache. "Z14 Coils!" And zaps it with Alternating Current for good measure!+

cubey@aol.pl (03:26:53): The sword cuts into Scunner's skull, and the punch beats some electric pain into it - but the Kaiju's assault continues, and the rush sends both Jaegers flying to the sides!

Scaraber snaps its pincers a few times, and then rushes forward, leaving a trail behind as it swims forward like a very fast submarine! Claws extended forward, the Gebian general tries to latch with them onto Raiju's side, peel off one of those big plates, and then rip and tear! +
tormterra (03:33:11): *"You got it." Recovering from the hit, Alex joins her movement getting off the ocean floor with a sweep of her hand that creates a vortex around the liquid fire. Rather than hit Scunner in a steady stream, it is spun around it to envelop its head, the ocean current pushing it in rather than letting it disperse with time and movement. +

cubey@aol.pl (03:35:38): Scunner is now in the middle of an underwater burning inferno, and also a Scunner on fire. Not giving up, it raises its larger double-formed arms and tries to slam them down on the offending Cherno Alpha to end the fiery assault!

tengusaur (03:37:02): * Hetepheres launches another claw rocket punch - but its purpose is not to shoot forward, because she's already right next to her target, but to propel Crab Frame backwards, away from the flailing limbs! The pincer returns on its own after a moment. +

aldo salt (03:40:54): *"Raaaaaa!" Sasha cries. Cherno bends its knees as Scunner spreads its arms, then rises and drives its right fist up into the Category 4's exposed chin. It's Z14 Coils fire at the moment of impact…and then its arm piston slams out for even more chin-cracking power!+

VJockey (03:42:11): *Not just that! The moment Scunner takes the impact of the arm piston punch, Gipsy Danger is moving in to deliver an elbow rocket powered punch right to the back of its head from behind!+
cubey@aol.pl (03:43:33): Scunner is forced to abandon its attempt to avoid having its skull caved in from two sides at once. At the same time, Hetepheres' maneuver succeeds, she leaves a deep gash on Raiju's side while not getting hit by her own.

So much bigger and heavier than the DuskBird, Scunner's trashing yanks the DuskBird closer... the bird machine's left hand building up a profound darkness as Mizuki finishes her incantation. "So then... the abyss has had enough of you, kaiju! ABYSS-" And the hand slams down to strike the burned side of Scunner's face. "SANCTION!"+
