VJockey (14:09:54): Very recently a shipment of supplies that were meant to be sent to Sakihama base had mysteriously been delayed from the South East Asian Sprawl.
VJockey (14:13:04): At the moment you are at the docks in what used to be Singapore before it and its closest neighbours were swallowed up by the massive urban cityscape you can see not too far away where the ship with the supplies meant for Sakihama has been prevented from leaving by the Sprawl's Port Authority.

tengusaur (14:14:42): Roger: "Another investigation... At least this time my skills as a negotiator might come in handy."
VJockey (14:16:07): Well everyone, you can see a group of workers milling about the ship while a very irritable crew was also hanging around. A man who looked to be in charge was blatantly ignoring the death glares and complaints. Perhaps it was best to start there?
VJockey (14:16:10): MEANWHILE
VJockey (14:16:41): Jen! You have business of your own at this very dock don't you?
VJockey (14:17:07): A rather dodgy deal regarding some equally sketchy data?
Peter Kampschroeder (14:19:47): Well that's hardly new. She's pretty early though, so when she comes to the rendevous point she's walking calmly. "I was told someone needed some information delivered?"
tengusaur (14:21:39): Roger approaches the commotion, in fully professional negotiator mode. "Good day all. I'm here to talk about a missing shipment. Where can I find the man in charge?"
VJockey (14:23:33): Well Jen, your contact nods slowly before looking around. "Yes. I take it that it's all there and in one piece?"
VJockey (14:25:00): As for Roger, the man who was keeping the ship from leaving swaggered over. To be perfectly blunt he looked like a beached walrus with distasteful facial hair. And he smelled of cheap cigarettes.
VJockey (14:25:24): "That's me. You're here for your fancy shipment yes?"
tengusaur (14:25:26): Roger frowns on the inside, he knows the type well enough. But his face remains neutral.
Peter Kampschroeder (14:26:01): "Of course. It'd be a default on my contract if it wasn't...Well, where's the computer I'll be offloading this onto?"
tengusaur (14:27:14): Roger: "That's right. Though I'm sure you have so many fancy shipments each day, I'll have to specify which one. I'm representing Unity Group."
VJockey (14:27:57): "Well my very fancy friend, I know its all very big important stuff. Protecting the world and... all of that. Yes yes. Its all very official and all. But you see there's a little thing... normally there's a tradition for those of us who work at the docks. Its gone back centuries at least."
VJockey (14:28:53): "Usually when ships arrive to do their deliveries or are about to depart they usually give the Port Authority a gift out of... well.. Lets call it respect. Yes. Mutual Respect and understanding."
VJockey (14:29:55): Jen, your contact shakes his head. "Its a little dangerous to be offloading it out in the open. We'll need to drop the data off on the ship over there. See the one where the guys in the suits are... discussing things?"
tengusaur (14:30:51): Roger: "Let me guess. And the ship that was carrying the shipment we're talking about forgot about that. So you're holding the shipment up."
Peter Kampschroeder (14:31:56): "Mmmm..." It's a big ship, of course, but it's still a ship-which means an enclosed space with fewer means of escape if everything goes SOL. Still, these guys don't seem cut-throat enough to kill her just to get half off... "Alright. Lead the way."
VJockey (14:33:08): The Port Official grinned widely and showed off some unpleasantly stained teeth. "Exactly. You see this... exchange of mutual respect is something that keeps the wheels in this dock going. If you don't show the dock workers and the Port Authorities any face in regards to this... well there's very little we can do sadly."
VJockey (14:33:31): "Now I'm quite sure that we can come to something of an understanding Mr Fancy."
VJockey (14:33:52): "and-"
VJockey (14:34:00): "...Who let that truck here?!"
VJockey (14:34:12): "Who are those two! I said nobody was allowed on the ship!"
tengusaur (14:34:26): Roger: "Smith. I'm afraid I forgot my usual gifts I always carry with me just in case at hime, but-"
tengusaur (14:34:41): And then something happens. Roger springs to attention.
VJockey (14:34:46): [The Port Official was pointing out Jen and her contact with a look of irritation, as well as the last minute shipment for the supply ship.]
tengusaur (14:35:00): *at home
Wyverncakes (14:36:05): Flit: "What?"
Peter Kampschroeder (14:38:00): The purple-haired woman looks over the scene quickly. "Ah, this sort of thing, is it..." then, to the port manager: "I'm sorry, but I'm here to make a brief delivery for my client, so if you could let me through, I think he'd be quite grateful..."
VJockey (14:47:26): The man nodded calmly, glancing at Roger. "Mr Smith. We have a mutual aquaintence."
VJockey (14:47:58): The man pulls out something from his coat... an ID.
VJockey (14:48:03): A Unity Group ID.
VJockey (14:48:58): "Sorry if Port Authority is giving you trouble but... we needed something to keep the ship delayed to get some... sensitive materials on board."
tengusaur (14:49:55): Roger: "Oh? And what'd those be?"
Peter Kampschroeder (14:50:27): Jen: "Let's not worry about silly little details like that, shall we?"
VJockey (14:51:01): "What my friend said. The quieter this is kept. The faster we-"
VJockey (14:51:33): Tired of being ignored the Port Authourity Chief raises his voice. "NOBODY IS TAKING ANYTHING ANYWHERE UNTIL I GET MY CUT!"
Wyverncakes (14:51:43): Well, if it was a Unity Group person then this was probably all on the level, and Flit began to relax-
VJockey (14:51:46): Which was... in all things. A very ironic thing to say.
Wyverncakes (14:51:53): -Until that suddenly happened.
VJockey (14:52:02): The sound of something whistling through the air can be heard...
VJockey (14:52:10): and the Chief's head rolled off his shoulders.
Wyverncakes (14:52:12): Flit: "How can you worry about your own 'cut' at a time like this?!?"
Wyverncakes (14:52:32): But no sooner had Flit said that had his mouth suddenly gape in horror.
Wyverncakes (14:52:35): "A-aaaah!"
tengusaur (14:52:47): Roger: "...Get behind walls! Fast!"
Peter Kampschroeder (14:53:40): Jen dives for cover! From...whatever!
VJockey (14:54:20): The person responsible was calmly walking out of the shadows. Glancing around the area calmly.
Wyverncakes (14:54:31): Flit's making all speed towards the AGE-1 Sparrow!
VJockey (14:54:34): *with an equal calmness, ignoring the headless corpse
tengusaur (14:54:36): Roger does as he says himself! And calls the rest of Unity Group on his watch at the same time! "We have a situation here!"

frifreeman (14:55:35): Walt: "Taking cut from people won't get you ahead in life, it seems."
Peter Kampschroeder (14:55:39): Well everyone else is running, so Jen joins the fray! She heads for that truck from before, maybe she can hotwire it and bail on this whole thing.
frifreeman (14:55:51): And Walt skedaddles toward his genoace
VJockey (14:56:06): Well for those of you running to your machines
VJockey (14:56:11): things might get a little noisy
VJockey (14:56:34): "VIPEEEEEEEER!!!!"
Wyverncakes (14:57:04): Flit doesn't care at all about that "Viper" thing...
Wyverncakes (14:57:09): He knew what he saw!
Wyverncakes (14:57:26): Flit: "Why... enough people have died here already! And you want to kill even more?!?"
VJockey (14:57:52): Several vans screech into the area, disgorging men clad in tactical gear... who proceed to shoot up everyone they catch sight of.
VJockey (14:58:00): Dockworkers. Ship's crew.
VJockey (14:58:08): And doing their best to get you.
VJockey (14:58:13): Everyone react.
tengusaur (15:00:03): Roger: "Everyone, don't look...!" He throws a small pellet towards the attackers while ducking behind a heavy cargo container. The pellet suddenly explodes loudly in a bright glow - it's a flashbang! +
Wyverncakes (15:01:23): *Flit just ducks down and tries to keep cover between him and these newcomers+
Peter Kampschroeder (15:03:40): *Jen: "Of all the-" She takes cover and shields her eyes from the flashbang, then starts looking for anything that might help her get out of this whole mess. "You people have great friends, you know!"+
frifreeman (15:04:10): Walt: "Lucky that I was in military training..;. oh wait, military training doesn't actually make you bullet proof, damnit."
VJockey (15:05:23): Roger's flashbang makes it easier for everyone to get to cover, and hopefully their mecha! While these guys were well armed, its still hard to hit a target when you're blinded.
VJockey (15:06:30): Jen. One of the shots from the well armed crazies blew off the lock on the truck's container, maybe you can duck inside there and see if there's anything of use?
tengusaur (15:06:43): Roger: "That will do for a distraction... Big O! Showtime!"
Wyverncakes (15:07:21): The AGE-1 is already booting up too, Flit intent on keeping Hong Kong from suffering more death!
Peter Kampschroeder (15:07:33): *It's worth a shot! If nothing else that container should keep them coming at her in only one direction and provide some cover while OH MY GOD THOSE ARE GIANT ROBOTS. She sprints for that open door, this is getting out of hand.+

VJockey (15:08:33): Speaking of robots Jen, you find yourself looking at one!
VJockey (15:08:37): It wasn't that big...
VJockey (15:08:45): but its still a robot and bigger than you.

Peter Kampschroeder (15:09:38): Pffft, a robot beats no robots! She'll crawl inside that thing and hide.
VJockey (15:10:40): And then the truck with the robot she's in has something heavy land on top of it, rattling its contents. Namely her!
frifreeman (15:10:41): Walt climbs onto his genoace. "Ah, giant robot. it takes my whole moral fiber to not laughing and saying "ha ha, where's your god now" as I step upon those tiny humans that were shooting at me."

tengusaur (15:11:59): Roger seems to have disappeared somewhere in the meantime. But Big O's large shape slowly emerges from between the dockside buildings.
VJockey (15:14:21): (Enemies: V-M9 "Formor" x 20 (One is colored bright yellow), Viper Commandos x35, Ninja(?) )
VJockey (15:14:59): (Initiative: Roger, Flit, Walt, Jen)
VJockey (15:15:52): (Roger, Flit)
Wyverncakes (15:16:11): "Whoever you all are..."
Wyverncakes (15:17:48): * The Gundam rises up, Shigeru Blade in hand! "We don't need any of you here! So just-" Sparrow charges, swinging its knife down so it can cut through some of the mooks on a quick pass. "Fall!"+
Peter Kampschroeder (15:18:18): "Thaaaat doesn't sound good..." Jen starts looking around and...flips all the buttons and switches she can find! One of them has to do something.
tengusaur (15:19:24): Roger: "Enough with this massacre!" Big O takes a step forward, emerging from the mist. It raises its arms in a horizontally aligned pose, its eyes glow briefly, and then a pair of lasers emerges from them, drawing over as many Formor's as Roger can catch - and after a second, explosions follow everywhere the beams hit! +
VJockey (15:23:01): Well Flit... What's there to say that you kill a trio of the smaller machines. Its... probably far more graphic than you would have expected given their size. Bits of their pilots go flying free as they are bisected before the eventual explosion. This doesn't scare the pilots at all. In fact it just makes them more frantic. You find a number of them opening fire on you. Mostly with rifles but one of them had a minigun that was firing Missiles! React!
Peter Kampschroeder (15:23:46): One of the buttons does something, and a harness comes down from behind Jen as the robot boots up. So hey, it's a start. She grips the two control sticks and focuses-It's her first time, but come on, piloting a giant robot can't be that hard, can it? And she just needs to escape anyways-when she's stabbed in the back by four somethings from the mecha, that then go the extra mile and inject her with...something that hurts. It's kind of hard to tell, she's no doctor.
VJockey (15:25:32): Roger! You account for another four more Formors. Unintentional wordplay aside they open fire on you as they did with Flit! You find rifles and swarms of tiny missiles flying at you. As well as having small arms fire and shoulder launched rockets being flung at the Big O like loose change at a brick wall by the Viper Commandos. React
Wyverncakes (15:26:40): * Unknown enemies (but not THE UE... not like it matters because they're still monsters) shooting at him was something Flit didn't like. "What are you even here for? What could even be worth all of this?!" Sparrow springs into the air and out of the cone of fire, needle guns popping out to fire on some more of those mooks.+
Wyverncakes (15:26:47): If they wouldn't stop, he'd see to stopping them.
VJockey (15:27:36): Jen! You find the truck your machine is in being repeatedly stomped and pried open by a pair of Formors. One being the yellow one. They're raising their weapons at you seeing as you turned it on and are not one of theirs. React!
VJockey (15:29:35): Flit's only response is another screaming battlecry before the needles hurtle to impale a number of Formors onto the transport ship like a twisted take on the tale of William Tell. While you managed to dodge the rifle rounds though, some of the minimissiles managed to swerve midflight to hit you! Only a small number though as they couldn't manuever well enough to do significant damage.
tengusaur (15:29:46): Roger: "Taht's right, focus on the giant Megadeus in front of you. The people haven't done anything to you." Big O raises its shielded arms as he draws the enemy's attention, to shield him from the barrage of incoming small attacks. +
Peter Kampschroeder (15:31:11): *Jen's vision blurs for a second, and then she's not looking at the inside of a cockpit, but is looking up at two robots glaring down at her. Some handy HUD has shown up on her vision too, with an ammo counter and everything. Jen does what comes to mind first, and...rolls away from the the Formors, having Cethlenn tumble off the truck and onto the docks in general.+
VJockey (15:34:03): Roger! Having the enemies focus on you means the very few survivors of their entrance can get away or in rarer cases.. try to help those who can't get out due to injuries. Still. Big O's arm shields, are being battered. While the shots really lacked in size, there was volume, and the rifle rounds were actually digging through the armor slowly but surely... from the Formors. The infantry based fire was doing absolutely nothing at all.
VJockey (15:35:30): Well Jen, you were lucky to react as fast as you did because high speed tungsten rounds punched into the area where you were before and blew up the truck. The regular formor crashed ungracefully. The Yellow Formor managed to land, albeit a little unsteadily from the sudden bang.
VJockey (15:35:35): (Jen & Walt)
tengusaur (15:37:19): Roger (radio to Jen): "You. You're not on their side, are you. Despite having the same machine."
Peter Kampschroeder (15:37:44): Jen:"urrrgh..." Cethlenn staggers to its feet, takes a few uneasy steps-then starts stretching out its fingers. "Oh...It moves when I try to...Huh? No, of course not! I'm a civilian!"
tengusaur (15:38:27): Roger: "A civilian who knows how to work one of those things?"
VJockey (15:39:33): ???:"A civilian using stolen equipment that rightfully belongs to my brilliant and beloved Viper Commander!"
VJockey (15:39:50): "Especially since its MY robot!"
frifreeman (15:39:54): Walt: "Nah, even a kid can pilot robots these days." He looks at someone
VJockey (15:39:55): "MINE!"
VJockey (15:40:10): The Pilot of the Yellow Formor yells out.
Peter Kampschroeder (15:40:39): "Actually this is kinda easy..."
frifreeman (15:41:08): Walt: "Well, maybe you should've put a lock or something then." Walt shoot at him with his DODS gun instead.
Peter Kampschroeder (15:41:43): *Cethlenn looks over at the Yellow Formor, down at its fist, then back at the Yellow Formor-and charges the custom-painted robot with a straight punch!+
VJockey (15:42:55): "You Unity Group jackals think that you're in the right stealing our equipment. 'Oh! But these things belong to a terrorist organization, there'll be no reprecussions if we take the robot and all its associated data! It'll be for the greater good!' "
tengusaur (15:44:03): Roger: "High and mighty words for someone who just massacred dock workers."
VJockey (15:44:16): Jen! Before the pilot can rant any further you manage to catch her off guard and clock her Formor in the head, incidentally this has her wise up and pay a little more attention. Especially with dodging Walt's DODS shot.
Wyverncakes (15:44:18): Flit: "Anything would be better used in our hands than yours!"
VJockey (15:45:49): "Oh boo hoo. Break a few eggs to get your property back and suddenly you're the bad guy."
Peter Kampschroeder (15:46:11): Jen: "Murder is a kind of a big egg..."
VJockey (15:46:14): "I kill innocent people every day and you don't hear me complaining about it."
Wyverncakes (15:46:33): Flit: "Then you better not ask fo mercy when we're about to kill you!"
tengusaur (15:47:17): Roger: "Keep a cool head, kid. Don't let this man provoke you."
VJockey (15:47:26): "...EXCUSE ME?!"
Wyverncakes (15:47:30): He didn't help fight off the Vagans just so that ordinary people would tear themselves apart.
Wyverncakes (15:47:33): ^for mercy.
VJockey (15:47:40): "Are you blind, deaf and dumb?"
VJockey (15:48:05): "Oh perhaps you are if you can't tell a woman's beautiful voice and form from a man's."

tengusaur (15:48:42): Roger: "Looks like provoking works the other way around, though." He can't help but smirk a little.

Peter Kampschroeder (15:49:11): Jen: "I wonder if this thing has a manual somewhere..."
Wyverncakes (15:49:47): * The AGE-1 Sparrow charges, thrusters firing as it goes into a spin to drive the Shigeru Blade into the Formor's chest.+
frifreeman (15:50:16): Walt: "To be honest, I couldn't actually care less about your robot, until people were start shooting at me. Now it's my personal mission to separate you from it. Sorry, even I am embarassed at my pettiness"
tengusaur (15:50:37): Roger: (to Jen) "If things get too heated for you, evacuate and get the survivors to safety. We can handle this. Eeey~!" Big O launches a running (well, more like fast walking) punch with great force at one of the enemy mook robots, sending it flying towards a group of several other terrorists! +
VJockey (15:51:43): Flit! As you close in on the Formor... you find your Shigeru Blade crashing into something!
VJockey (15:51:52): It wasn't thin air.
VJockey (15:52:29): The moment the impact happened there was a distorting shimmer as a thirty meter tall machine melted into view, blocking your weapon with a katana.

VJockey (15:52:57): As it turns out because nobody was paying attention to the Ninja, she ninja'd away to get her ninja robot.
Wyverncakes (15:53:04): Flit: "Wha-?"
VJockey (15:54:45): The ninja slams an open palm on the back of the blade and rushes forward in a burst of speed to push the AGE-1 away! React!
VJockey (15:56:05): Roger. Given the size of the enemies compared to Big O's fists... you did a pretty good job of sending more than one flying into a crowd of their on foot comrades. The dock is now painted in a very disgusting shade of red.
Wyverncakes (15:56:28): * This ninja might be fast... but Flit's an X-Rounder! AGE-1 falls back a step and its arm thrusters flare, to let it spin around and stab into the newcomer's backside as it charges past!+
tengusaur (15:56:53): Roger: "Not a pretty sight... But I'd lie if I said they didn't deserve it."
Peter Kampschroeder (15:57:25): "I wonder what this thing does..." A small cable launches from the Cethlenn's left shoulder, anchors itself to the ground-and then yank's Jen's robot straight into a faceplant.
VJockey (15:59:18): Flit! As the Shigeru Blade Closes in on the machine you see the air around it begin to fog and distort! Then your blade makes contact. For a moment you think you managed to land a hit... then it simply dissapates slowly into fog as the Ninja machine seemingly leaps backwards and puts some space.
Wyverncakes (16:00:05): And now that he has some breathing room...
VJockey (16:00:07): Ninja(?): "Your instincts are sharp. And that of a killer. Tell me child... do you know the truth that lies at the end of a knife?"
Wyverncakes (16:01:19): "I don't care about any 'truth' that lies at the end of it."
Wyverncakes (16:01:25): He points the weapon at the ninja!
Wyverncakes (16:01:40): "It's a weapon, a weapon made to protect innocent people from monsters like you!"
VJockey (16:03:16): "There is no such thing as innocence. When a child is willing to indulge in murder after all... can it truly exist?"
VJockey (16:03:48): And before Flit can tender a reply. Yet something else explodes.
VJockey (16:04:26): Not too far from the docks was a manufacturing facility. Close enough to be seen in fact.
Peter Kampschroeder (16:08:31): Jen: "Um..."
frifreeman (16:08:44): Walt: "Puppies are pretty innocent"
tengusaur (16:08:54): Roger: "Is that them too...?"
Wyverncakes (16:08:59): Flit: "What I'm doing... isn't murder!"
Wyverncakes (16:09:08): He wasn't like Desil!
VJockey (16:09:25): The facilty itself is torn apart from within. One of the walls collapsing as a large figure pulls its way out of it. Resembling an armored warrior clad in banded armor - not simply in appearance but almost in material as well. That is definitely leather, and you can see bone scattered across its form as well. A cloak of equal size billows behind it as it storms out of the building that was being destroyed inside out as it swings around and smashes yet another part of the building with a massive hammer.
tengusaur (16:10:08): Roger: "...No, it's not."
VJockey (16:10:23): More tear their way out of the building, seeking to demolish it.
Peter Kampschroeder (16:10:38): Jen: "Okay, this? This is not what people pay me for."
VJockey (16:10:56): But as they do... you notice a crowd of people fleeing well away from the chaos. All looking like they just had to rush out of work from a factory.
VJockey (16:11:47): Perhaps... at the very least whatever these things are... they had some scruples compared to the maniacal terrorists you are currently engaging.
VJockey (16:12:54): Then the Yellow Formor shoots the one the biggest one that also happens to look like it was made out of rocks.
VJockey (16:13:05): Drawing their attention to all of you.
VJockey (16:13:19): Formor Pilot: "....Oops~"
Peter Kampschroeder (16:13:51): Jen: "...really..."
VJockey (16:15:19): Formor Pilot: "Well would you look at that! Now you have more problems than just us!"
tengusaur (16:15:21): Roger: "Get ready for even more of them incoming..."
VJockey (16:15:45): The Formor turns to regard the Unity Group, spreading its arms in its pilots amusement.
Wyverncakes (16:15:50): Flit: "... You just keep sinking to deeper and deeper lows."
VJockey (16:15:58): "Well I hope you all have fun dealing with this new mess-"
VJockey (16:16:24): And because she wasn't paying attention she didn't notice the Stone Giant and its fellows who were methodically making their way to the Docks
tengusaur (16:16:35): Roger: "Do not think you are simply walking away from this!"
VJockey (16:16:39): or the fact that the Stone Giant raised the massive bone club it had in hand
VJockey (16:16:44): and smashed the Formor in one go.
Wyverncakes (16:17:17): Well good riddance.
VJockey (16:17:35): Rock Giant Pilot: "Disgusting. Truly disgusting."
VJockey (16:17:49): There was an irritated sniff.
Peter Kampschroeder (16:17:51): Jen: "Um...uh, I'm not with her."
tengusaur (16:17:52): Roger: "...They are piloted."
tengusaur (16:17:56): Roger: "Who are you?"
VJockey (16:18:02): "As expected from the people of this world."
VJockey (16:18:57): "I am Lord Moswar the Granite Hand, Knight of Ankaia, Master of the Lord's Arm - The Justice Gavel"
VJockey (16:19:25): He speaks in a haughty tone, carrying with it the weight of age and the disdain of someone speaking to those he considers his lessers.
VJockey (16:20:13): "As for why I am here. It is to ensure your filth and perverse taint of weakness does not spread to the home of myself and my fellows."
VJockey (16:20:38): Well. They're definitely not friendly.
tengusaur (16:21:05): Roger: "Rest assured, we have no desire to spread our filth to your home, wherever it might be."
Peter Kampschroeder (16:21:14): Jen: "Uh, I just want to go home, so if you'll just let me be on my way..."
Wyverncakes (16:21:24): Flit: "But you're the ones who came here!"
VJockey (16:22:06): "Hah. And I am to believe the baseless words of a craven man from an even more craven culture?"
VJockey (16:22:53): "Am I to listen to the logic of a mere babe who is no doubt wallowing in his filth?"
VJockey (16:23:03): "Am I to allow a coward leave of this battlefield?"
VJockey (16:23:10): "To all these things. I say NAY!"
VJockey (16:23:16): "NAY!"
Peter Kampschroeder (16:23:22): Jen: "Yes, that's the-awwww come on."

Roger uses it to deliver a wide hook to the face of Moswar's unit, to throw it off-balance enough to let him follow it up - by preparing the right arm for a strike, extending the piston inside it, and then launching a Sudden Impact right to the robot's chest! First the fist slams into its armor, then the pressurized energy! +

VJockey (17:01:22): And then Moswar took a sudden Impact to the face. The Lord's Arm is sent stumbling, taking a few steps backwards with its head cracked and the faintest imprint of Big O's fist on its face. The crest on the stone helmet also seems a little precarious now.
frifreeman (17:01:33): Walt: "Well, maybe you should've thought first before piloting a giant mecha without a gun."
VJockey (17:01:47): "Only cowards fight from a distance!"
frifreeman (17:02:14): Walt answer by shooting at him.
VJockey (17:03:18): Jen! The Formor fires its rifle at you as you close in. Except the shots are all but devoured by the ravening cloud surrounding your machine's fist. When you punch it there is minor resistance... then it just sinks right through it like a hot knife through butter!
VJockey (17:03:52): Walt blasts the crest off his helmet.
VJockey (17:04:03): Moswar is now unintelligibly enraged.

griefgathering (17:09:52): Tsubasa will try to take a crack at the Knight mooks at least. Having to deal damage like Big O's is a pretty tough requirement, but it looks like Flit and the newcomer have it handled on the other side.

VJockey (17:13:59): Apogee parries the strike from the Sparrow before using its blade to deflect the rifleshots before unleashing a smokescreen arount itself and the Sparrow!
VJockey (17:14:22): The good news though Flit is that somehow you can still pick her up on your sensors.
VJockey (17:15:17): The bad news is that because she was using her Katana so often you never thought to check if she had ranged weapons. She's shooting at you with a pair of pistols from the fog! REACT!
VJockey (17:16:54): Tsubasa! The energy swords bury themselves across a knight's body... though damaged it doesn't seem that inconvenienced as it throws its cloak back, letting it billow in the wind of the battlefield as it readied a set of claws to lash out at you! React!
VJockey (17:18:55): "Though you say you do not do this because you do not wish to. You never denied that you felt satisfaction in the act of killing the unjust."
Wyverncakes (17:19:08): * Flit can do more than just get a sense for Apogee's position! More X-Rounder focus, and then the Sparrow darts to the side, knee guns firing in a wide arc to make even dodging a tall order!+
Wyverncakes (17:19:27): Flit: "Of course I don't!"
Wyverncakes (17:20:09): "My happiness doesn't come from killing people...!"
Wyverncakes (17:20:13): "I'm not like that monster!"
griefgathering (17:20:40): *The good thing about being small here is that a bigger enemy's strike is easier to see coming. Tsubasa seems to stay still as the attack comes, but she actually jumps at the last possible moment so that the claws hit the building instead - kicking up dust that might obscure its view. And then a flash of blue emerges and surges towards the Knight, much larger than the tiny blue swords - its a blue blade wave that is big enough to rival her opponent's size!+
VJockey (17:21:59): A tall order. But somehow as the spikes move through the fog... Apogee somehow knows their paths. She manages to dodge them wildly, each one just barely grazing past.
VJockey (17:22:35): "There are two kinds of killers. The ones who enjoy it... and the ones who say that they must. For some higher duty."
VJockey (17:23:35): "The acts of the latter... like you. Can do far more horrifying things than those you call monsters."

Peter Kampschroeder (17:28:41): *Jen: "Oh shut up you!" She looks at the oncoming volly of missiles and...runs away! As they start exploding behind her, Cethlenn grappling hooks its way up into the skyline, and lays down some fire with her shiny new rifle into the Formorians.+
tengusaur (17:29:41): Roger: "You wish to judge this world for its filth? then witness the light of judgement firsthand!" Big O takes a step back, to get some distance on the lord of the knights, then starts gathering energy in its forehead, raises its arms, brings them down and connects the fists, releasing a huge blast from its head into the boss's direction! If any other enemies are caught in it as well, even better. +
VJockey (17:30:00): Tsubasa! The massive blade wave has the knight cross its claws as it brings its cloak to defend from the wave. It crashes against it... as tough as the material is - and it was enough to shrug off DODS gun shots - ... the concentrated power of the larger attack managed to finally tear through and land a scar through both claws and torso of the knight! The blades clatter to the ground as the large warrior stumbles backwards!

Wyverncakes (17:31:23): * Still somewhat concealed by the smoke, Flit adds his knee gun shots to the assault for good measure!+
griefgathering (17:31:55): Tsubasa: "That resilience..."
VJockey (17:32:22): Jen and Flit! The defense is successful as the shots are detonated prematurely! Jen manages to get a few shots onto the Formors that attacked her as well! Downing two more.
griefgathering (17:32:38): She touches down as the blades fall to the ground, but this is definitely no situation to let her guard down.
frifreeman (17:34:12): Walt jumps around with his thruster: "If only I'm a honored person. I would pull my heat stick and ask that thick headed guy to a melee duel or something. Too bad I'm a dirty coward who is actually kinda happy that my opponent can't touch me. I'm disappointed at myself, really." He says as he plinks the so called thick headed guy with his DODS gun as he circles around.+
VJockey (17:34:31): Roger! Your attack sweeps across the Ankaians who raise their cloaks in response. The already damaged Lord's Arm is further savaged, even through its vaunted defense! And the others, bathed in the devastating beam are damaged by it... though not enough to put them out of the fight.
VJockey (17:36:03): Walt! Good news! Because of the damage that Moswar's cloak sustained from Roger's attack, your flamk assault does more and more damage against his now cracked armor!
VJockey (17:36:54): He tries to take a few swings at you and ruins a good amount of the dock... but with his damage, his club's unwieldiness, the ponderousness of his machine and his rage? He can't hit anything.

VJockey (17:40:08): "No. I believe you have something that belongs to us..."
VJockey (17:40:17): Apogee pauses and glances aside.
VJockey (17:40:44): She notes that the last of the Formorians with her just ate hammers and swords, courtesy of the Ankaians.
VJockey (17:41:00): "When I say us I mean my organization."
griefgathering (17:41:14): *Tsubasa will at least try to finish off that damaged knight she attacked earlier. She dashes left and right while advancing as a distraction, then leaps up, and spins through the air with her feet blades deployed. Like a circular sawblade, she attempts to cut through the gash she left in its armor!+
Wyverncakes (17:41:41): Flit: "Then just go."
Wyverncakes (17:41:47): "And don't ever show your face to us again!"
VJockey (17:42:35): Tsubasa! As you attack it, another knight gets in the way, bringing up its cloak to defend the other knight. As you press the attack you slowly but surely begin to push through the hide-material its made of until it attempts to slash at you with its sword!
Peter Kampschroeder (17:43:02): Jen: "Well, if you stop trying to stab me to death, maybe we can work something."
frifreeman (17:43:16): Walt: "I wonder what this is actually about? A terrorist attack? Can't be, they'd just use TSF or something. Another attempt of an alien invasion? With... 10 mechs and no guns... I kinda feel bad for them now."
VJockey (17:43:26): "I am afraid that is out of the question. A certain amount of stabbing is expected of my position."
Peter Kampschroeder (17:43:40): Jen: "Damnit."
VJockey (17:43:50): "Moreso since I am required to retrieve the information you took as well."
Wyverncakes (17:44:47): * Well, Flit was *going* to just switch focus to the Ankains, but if Apogee's that insistent... the AGE-1 charges again! But this time not for a slash, no, this time just a shoulder-slam. At least for the moment&
Peter Kampschroeder (17:45:21): Jen: "...Oh. Um...Yeah, I'm rather attached to my head...So, I guess we're fighting then."
VJockey (17:45:58): Flit. Apogee takes that hit, crossing both arms as it did and backing off once more to shoot at you! Continue/React
VJockey (17:46:03): Jen, Roger, Walt go.
griefgathering (17:48:58): Tsubasa: *"Gh!" Tsubasa halts her spin by bringing her own sword against the gigantic enemy's, but instead of trying to directly block it, which is stupid in this case, she shifts her own body slightly and uses it to stab into the flat side of the giant blade. If this works, she will seem as if she's disappeared, but she's actually on the weapon, where she counterattacks by throwing her own sword at the Knight...it grows rapidly into a mecha-sized broadsword with rockets on its hilt, and she kicks it in the pommel Rider style to attempt to impale both enemies!+
Peter Kampschroeder (17:49:50): *There's still one command Jen hasn't tried. And her earlier shots didn't work at all, so...she tries it. That smoke cloud appears again, gathering around Cethlenn. It eats into some of the ground around the robot and completely destroys its new rifle, then condenses and forms...a pistol? But it's a bit different looking than before, with a rectangular barrel. Jen goes ahead and fires it at Apogee anyways. There's a bit of a charge up time, a few small arcs of electricity-and then a tremendous BANG, as the small projectile is hurtled out of her new railgun for the ninja.+
tengusaur (17:50:03): Roger: "I suggest you call off your invasion, before someone gets hurt!" Big O rushes into melee with the boss again, repeatedly hitting him with one fist while raising the other arm for defense. Roger aims for the already cracked parts of the enemy's armor, trying to break them further! +
Wyverncakes (17:51:21): * And now that they're close, close enough... the Sparrow charges again, swooping down and chopping at the Apogee's gun arm!+
VJockey (17:52:18): Tsubasa! The gambit works! Both Ankaian knights are sent backwards, badly damaged - though not destroyed. A number of the others quickly move over to where they are. They do not attack though...
VJockey (17:52:22): Rather...
VJockey (17:52:29): they seek to retrieve their injured.
frifreeman (17:52:50): Walt: "People already got hurt though."
tengusaur (17:53:06): Roger: "I know. It's a bit too late for that..."
VJockey (17:54:16): Jen & Flit! The Shigeru blade manages to land a hit, it was a little hard to dig the Shigeru blade through Apogee's armor... but while you don't tear the arm off completely, you mangle it enough that its useless... Jen's shot slams into the Ninja mecha soon after, sending it crashing close to the boat.
VJockey (17:54:42): "I am afraid another meeting... is inevitable... "
VJockey (17:55:07): "However... I think I can make this something of a phyrric victory... even if it might just be for one person."
frifreeman (17:55:09): Walt jumps a bit more far away, before kneeling and this time aiming carefully at the Boss Knight's head, and unleashing a spinny laser shot at it.+
griefgathering (17:55:19): Tsubasa lands on one knee, but she definitely notices the enemy's movement. "..."
VJockey (17:56:11): Walt and Roger's teamup deals a heavy blow to the Justice Gavel, blowing out more of its armor from both the impacts as well as the DODS shots...

VJockey (18:25:51): Sielje will find her opponents more wily than she would expect. Flit manages to land an ugly looking scar across the Knight's Arm's head before getting flung at the Big O... then the aforementioned Ankaian machine would find itself getting a sudden impact (but not THE Sudden Impact) from the moby dick anchor. While it didn't push her far, it managed to force her back a fair distance.

She breaks into a full sprint that turns into a dash. But she doesn't go far before leaping into the air and sending another large blade wave that way! It seems to be aimed to be slightly off-target!+

VJockey (18:37:17): Sielje as sturdy as the cloak is - as shown by a number of previous attacks - the more powerful the strike, the harder it is to defend against. Having to deal with Tsubasa's Blade Wave and Big O's sudden impact was far far too much for it to take.
