tengusaur (20:05:04): Well, there is a certain place. Fort Severn.
tengusaur (20:05:48): Back in the day, it was a Space Revolutionary Army base, but after the war, it became an independent place. Little is known about it.
tengusaur (20:06:00): Except that Tiffa discovered that there's a Newtype in there.
tengusaur (20:06:06): A Newtype she wants to meet.
tengusaur (20:06:29): And captain Jamil, as he tends to do, followed Tiffa's wish.
Overman Zappa (20:06:42): As far as Garrod is concerned, anything Tiffa wants to do, Garrod will make it happen!
tengusaur (20:06:58): But that's just Freeden's crew. But Unity Group itself is also interested in those mysterious Newtypes.
tengusaur (20:07:11): Which is why it sent a few people along, just in case.
Ginkan SK (20:07:15): Raquel is not liking the cold, she's not liking the cold at all. She's cold she's wearing a number of layers and is modest for once in how she's dressed because holy hell it's cold. "So damn cold,why is it so cold! It's like Canada and Russia had a love child." She's here to help Garrod and the rest but she'll be damned if she can't complain.

tengusaur (20:08:16): The area is mountaineous, and the terrain is difficult - Freeden has to climb up, a lot of the time. Still, Fort Severn is not that far away anymore.
TormTerra (20:08:22): Kei was wearing rather heavier clothing than she was used to as she huddled up to try to keep the cold at bay. She was pretty much wishing for sitting in her nice, climate controlled cockpit instead of this. But a mission was a mission. At least the area outside was nice in a sort of wildernessy way. Seeing Setsuko, she gave the woman a slight smile. She had a pretty good guess for why she'd volunteered to go there

However that goes out the window as the ship comes under attack. She seems tpo pull offr her winter outfit like she's a phantom theif and her flight suit is there, she's running for the hangers to get to her machine and launch from the looks of it.

Overman Zappa (20:30:05): *Whelp, it's high time for a showdown pilgrim, and at that, Garrod tries to... not traumatize Tiffa and sprays shots from the beam machine gun at one or two of the Juracg's to disable them, rather than kill anyone today+
peter kampschroeder (20:30:22): *Eva jets her Genspenst into the air, and starts tacking the opposite group from Setsuko. She'll hit them with the magna beam rifle, aiming for the bodies.+

tengusaur (20:48:48): The Juracgs spread out, trying to avoid Eva's attack, but one of the first two is hit anyway and collapses into the snow, wrecked! But the other leader was Ennil, whose mech was only nicked, and she and two other units rush forward, firing beam machineguns rapidly! (Eva react)

tengusaur (20:50:33): Garrod hits the limbs of two of the snowboarding Mobile Suits, damaging one and incapacitating the other! But then, suddenly, something starts to swarm in mid-air...

tengusaur (20:54:29): Eva's beam hits one of the Juracgs, knocking it over and sending its board flying towards the Unity Group units! But the barrage of beam shots is hard to avoid fully, and they leave some marks and holes in her Gespenst's armor.
TormTerra (20:54:38): * "I'm sending the patterns of their movement and predictions of where they'll go, use them to try to dodge before the controller catches on." After starting the stream of information to Garrod, Kei also fired up Purple-2 and its shields to give Carris something else to think about rather than adjusting the pattern of the bits by charging straight towards them in a mirror of Tamaki's typical methods. +

But thanks to Kei's assistance, Garrod shoots down a few of them, and the damage they cause is spread between the two units, which means both of them are hit lightly but not too bad overall.

That woman is focused on Garrod, Ken, use it to charge her while she's focused on something else. Eva, use your beam weaponry to melt the snow in front of the charging enemies to disrupt their formation and keep them from advancing." +

tengusaur (21:10:32): Shurouga raises its left hand, and a bloody red sword appears in it, held by the blade. The black machine draws it with its right arm, sending splashes of purple "blood around" from the cut hand! Asakim uses the blade to cut through the incoming trees, then rushes at Ken, trying to cleave ScarleTiger as well!

tengusaur (21:19:10): Asakim dodges nimbly the incoming projectiles. Shurouga is not hit by a single one, but he has to back off from ScarleTiger before reaching it.
griefgathering (21:19:20): *The benefit of having a summonable weapon is that Seta can call it back quickly! She grabs hold of the halberd and twirls it overhead, generating an electric dome around her that will hopefully deflect the shots and/or knock a few of those bits out of the air.+

Overman Zappa (22:30:15): *Sadly, though Tiffa is there with him, he doesn't have the BIG gun, so second best he counters the duo of Gundams with a crescent wave from the Harmonica shield, this time looking to take out Virsago's mobile platform. Olba's not even a person... just a tool.+
Meraxa (22:30:58): Ken: Come on...! *And since Ken had been up the mountain, well, he follows. As a follow up of the others, the ScarleTiger leaps up high, and with a spin, attempts an overhead dropkick on the Shurouga...!+
tengusaur (22:33:17): Ashtaron gets hit by two projectiles flying into its direction - one a beam, another a focused flame made from chi! The Gundam is partially melted, taking heavy damage, and starts to move back, firing four mounted beam guns back at Amazon. Virsago, standing on top of it, supports with a single beam shot from one of its claws.

Ginkan SK (22:34:16): Raquel is forced to attempt to duck and wave to hopefully avoid the shot given her situation.+
tengusaur (22:35:37): Raquel manages to avoid the beam shots without taking any damage.
tengusaur (22:36:04): As for Asakim...
tengusaur (22:36:38): Shurouga is slowly overpowering Albatross... And then suddenly thrown off-balance by Eva disengaging so quickly!
tengusaur (22:36:57): This is only further enhanced by an avalanche collapsing down on it!
tengusaur (22:37:34): Asakim is only startled by it and flies up already to avoid getting buried... But then all those attacks suddenly smash into Shurouga!
tengusaur (22:38:24): Toby's slash with the scythe-like beam weapon leaves a big gash in Shurouga's chest, and then two blunt melee strikes drop down on it!
tengusaur (22:38:49): There is a small explosion and Shurouga looks critically damaged.
tengusaur (22:39:03): Then, it releases a burst of dark energy, pushing all nearby mecha away.

tengusaur (22:54:50): Garrod's shield is pretty heavily damaged now. And the energy barriers of Kei, Eva and Seta are pretty heavily strained by the barrage. Still, the damage all of them suffer is pretty light.
tengusaur (22:55:42): Evading this barrage, on the other hand, turns out to be a pretty damn hard feat - the cannons are directed by a Newtype's intuition! The people who tried to dodge are hit harder, though it's only armor damage for now.
tengusaur (22:55:57): As for the Frost Bros and Asakim...
tengusaur (22:56:08): Their units do not appear to be damaged in the slightest by this attack.

When it's ready, the chest opens up and fires a massive beam towards the Patulia. It's aimed for the main cannons-but not the life pod resting behind them.+
TormTerra (23:08:46): * Given the relative weakness of her weapons and how unsuited they were for anything resembling cutting, she instead targeted what appeared to be sensors, comms and similar for the mobile armor in the hope of at least confusing or spooking their enemy and hopefully making him hesitate. +

tengusaur (23:11:08): Which lets Eva zoom forward while avoiding their fire easily, and shoot right at the MA's main body! Her giant beam annihilates another cannon, as well as a few of the smaller wire guns!

tengusaur (23:11:57): A few more wire guns are shot down by a swarm of missiles, physical rounds and beams fired by Witz and Roybea.
Meraxa (23:12:03): Ken: Nnnngh toofast! *Yeah, Ken hadn't quite expected the Amazon to QUITE have such an arm... But in any case, he draws his-*SCARLET SHOTELS!* Ready to carve his way into the enemy machine, should he reach it+
griefgathering (23:12:36): Seta: *"...I will continue as well...!" From the ground, RB holds out an open palm that unleashes a barrage of homing spheres, targeting either the main guns or the wired guns, as required!+
tengusaur (23:13:10): Seta's barrage takes down a few more of the smaller cannons, as well as blowing up one of the big ones!
tengusaur (23:13:52): The final particle cannon is blown up as Setsuko, Toby and Ken cut deeply into the Patulia's body. Their cutting also digs a way right into the Life Unit!

tengusaur (23:14:28): A strange, large pod connected with cables to nearby machines, but nothing you cannot just rip out!

Overman Zappa (23:15:42): Tossing the shield aside, Garrod boosts up to the core part of the Patoulia. Reaching in, the Gundam takes hold of the Life Unit and, hopefully without killing anyone in the process, starts to scoop it right out. "Carris!"
tengusaur (23:16:28): Garrod rips out the Life Unit in a shower of sparks! Lights, visible inside the Patulia, are starting to go out one by one.
tengusaur (23:16:40): Carris: "Nnnnggg.... Ghhh... G... Garrod...?"
tengusaur (23:16:51): Carris: "I'm... sorry... I was... wrong..."
tengusaur (23:17:03): Carris: "I..."
