cubey@aol.pl (18:45:39): The rest scatter in all directions, trying to gain distance. Lights on their armor shine briefly... the few closest to Asagi suddenly launch theirs in a small swarm of semi-homing, glowing bits!

VJockey (18:47:59): *Interitus quickly interposes herself between Blue One and the bits, lashing out with both hands as thin strings of energy blitz across the air in rapid patterns to intercept the glowy bits!+
cubey@aol.pl (18:49:34): The defense was unnecessary - Blue One is more than capable of evading the attack, blocking what it can't. The energy strings fly through air uninterrupted, skewering and exploding one of the foes who did not get away in time.
tormterra (18:49:38): * "We can't let them reach the base or the city if what they're looking for is there. Raquel, there are some trying to slip around Blue-1's attempt at keeping them contained here and here, if you strike quickly you'll force them back to the others and hamper their movement." +

cubey@aol.pl (18:55:17): The Joelah tries to fly out of the way - but it is unable to react in time. The staff blow hits its side and sends it spiralling through the air.

VJockey (18:57:37): *No reply from Interitus, but there doesn't really need to be. He feels her acknowledgement as she swings the staff to intercept the incoming barrage and does her best to deflect them from damaging anything important. On her or below.+
tengusaur (18:57:48): Asagi: "Volya, watch out!" He quickly fires several missiles from Blue One's handheld launcher, trying to throw the Joelahs into disarray and break their formation - and then rushes forward to slash through one again. +
tormterra (18:58:59): * "There shouldn't be a lot left." Especially not after Asagi's charge. "Don't let them regroup. These two form the center of their formations on the sides, Asagi. You should be in an excellent position to strike at them from where you are, scattering the rest further." +

Strike at the edges of their formation to funnel them into a narrower attempt when they inevitably attack." She really wished that they'd gotten somebody with decent ranged weaponry around, right now. +
VJockey (19:17:37): *Interitus is going to Stay in the air, wings spread before slamming her hands together, focusing energy into her palms... however with what she had planned...&
VJockey (19:18:14): "Asagi, Kei... Could you keep them off of us for a minute? Interitus says she needs to try something!"

tengusaur (19:27:12): Asagi: "Alright. I'll keep any that try to come close off you. Do your thing!" Blue One starts to flank the group of Kijin, approaching it at a wide angle and then zooming forward, firing its machinegun rapidly at the firebirds on the very edge of their formation. +

tengusaur (19:32:48): Asagi: "They're not solid? That'll make them tricky to deal with..." Blue One starts to engage in defensive maneuvers, quickly darting between the two incoming streams of fire. The katana won't be any good at reflecting those! +
cubey@aol.pl (19:33:12): Interitus is charging energy... but the giant phoenix is swooping at her! Heat and plants mix badly, especially since Kazan tries to slash with his giant, hot claws - and the pyroclasmic cloud starts to rise again, fumes and ash appearing from the phoenix and slowly covering the battlefield!

VJockey (19:38:40): *With little choice but to alter whatever she had plan, Interitus grips the staff in her hands tightly and thrusts it forward... what happens next however is that a hemisphere of viridian green energy bursts out of the end that's rapidly closing towards the claw Asagi is not occupying! Instead of a plant, Kazan would find that claw with a shield in its way!+
cubey@aol.pl (19:40:04): Kazan: "What!" The bird is grabbed by the whip - and overpowers Blue One after a brief struggle, but even the sign that there IS a struggle shows that he is not as powerful as before...
cubey@aol.pl (19:41:08): The claws, slowed down by this interruption, slice down on the plant monster - and meet a barrier, which simultaneously throws the phoenix Kijin back as the now-freed claw slashes across Interitus anyway.

cubey@aol.pl (19:41:48): The cloud grows thicker, and as before it starts to interfere with your sensors. So far though you can still detect each other.

Volya, you and Interitus prepare to hit it with the strongest ranged attack you've got. Call in when you're both ready." +

He drops onto the ground, bracing Blue One's feet against it and trying to grab onto anything solid nearby - a building, or the floor itself. +\

This is/our resolve!" and lets loose with a shockwave of energy that rushes across the area, taking the shape of an ethereal meadow. While the area itself would be unaffected... the Kijin and its minions would find themselves facing a rushing wave of greenery that hits as hard as a tsunami before it explodes into a swirling hurricane of flower petals!+

tormterra (20:01:34): Like everyone else, Kei had started clearing out. She was there the last time they fought this guy and knew what to expect, especially without a Seta around to try to contain it. Hopefully they'd make it in time
Aero (20:04:38): * "Of all times..." An unknown figure suddenly appears from out of nowhere and jumps onto a nearby building. The figure raises its hand and begins to drain all of the thermal energy that Kazan was outputting, dispersing the ball of flame and absorbing the power that was generated by the Kijin. +

tengusaur (20:08:59): Asagi: "Astara! How did you know Kazan returned!" He quickly unloads the photon cannon from Blue One's back, aims it at the fleeing Kazan while charging, and fires a powerful beam. Hopefully no enemies will intercept it! +

cubey@aol.pl (20:09:37): Enemies did intercept it - the Firebirds both interpose themselves. One of them is destroyed. The other, severely damaged, waves its wings to counter with fiery quills! React.
Wyverncakes (20:10:29): * The Wagner's sword condensed down into a shorter sword held in its off-hand, a larger blade in its right! And with a dash it's off, charging into the mooks' ranks with both of his blades slashing relentlessly!+
Aero (20:11:01): Astara looks back at Purple-2, this was exactly why she didn't want to meet these people again. They only reminded her of what she did. "...I only recently learned that Kazan had this capability...I was only coming here to deal with Kazan myself. I didn't think he'd be resurrected this early." So basically it was one big coincidence.
tengusaur (20:11:06): * Asagi quickly draws and swings his katana wide with one hand, trying to intercept the feathers with it as he rushes forward, in pursuit. The cannon still needs to recharge... +
cubey@aol.pl (20:11:35): The magma golems' hides are tough - but after several slashes, one of them yields and is reduced to fiery boulders!
tormterra (20:11:40): Kei: "Understood. We'll cooperate to stop him before he causes any further damage."
cubey@aol.pl (20:12:10): The other is stabbed through its chest - but thinks nothing of it, and its head opens in a mouth-like cavity, trying to vomit a stream of lava at Roy and his unit! React.

Aero (20:15:02): * "Craft Ignite: Code Partial." Astara leaps down and a massive arm is summoned next to her, wielding a large Scimitar that freezes the air around it. The blade is then shoved towards the mouth of the golem. +
cubey@aol.pl (20:15:59): Wagner's shield wasn't necessary at all. The counterattack destroys the golem - thanks in no small part to the giant frost weapon (and the hand that holds it) out of nowhere!

VJockey (20:16:45): *Now that the fog is gone and Kazan is more focused on running away like a chicken instead of fighting like a terrifying bird of prey, Interitus was able to focus a bit more as she focused energy through her staff before HURLING it as hard as she could! There were blunted arrows used for downing birds way back when instead of sharp ones because the latter might destroy them. This was like the throwing spear equivalent of it. Except the spear was practically wreathed in a green aura that would explode out into a burst of stunning, slowing energy! Assuming it hits the right target!+

tormterra (20:16:57): * "Asagi...Cut off Kazan. He appears to be heading down this street. With any luck, he isn't going to think of moving up to escape. He doesn't seem to be the brightest. Once there, lay down suppressive fire to force him to move more carefully so others can catch up and prevent him from finding a different path out." +

With both Asagi and Volya slowing Kazan down and blocking his escape path now was her time to strike. "Craft Ignite: Code Complete." Astara leaps off the building again, this time activating her craft in the midst of her flight. As the blazing Craft forms she waves her hand out to counter Kazan's burst of air, the air around Astara herself began to crackle once she was in point blank range of the Kijin she unleashed a devestating bolt of lightning, hotter than the Phoenix's flame straight at its chest. +

Once that was done she strums her hand across the blade of the axe and it suddenly reverbs out, sounding almost exactly like a guitar and attempts to return the energy twinfold and overload the Faux Craft. +

Rather than order somebody into a dangerous situation by making them turn their back to an enemy not pinned by somebody else, Kei personally moved to break the deadlock. Focusing on the severely damaged Judgment Roy was fighting, she suddenly unloaded her entire arsenal into it. "If this works, go break Asagi's deadlock for him." +
griefgathering (21:23:33): *It becomes pretty obvious that the arm, a silvery white, isn't one of her machine's limbs, as it accompanies the dark Craft in grabbing the Vengeance completely, to slam it down to the ground and stun it!+

Suddenly, a black sphere appears in Maxwell's hand and then reforms into what seems to be a mecha sized Sniper Rifle. She takes aim at the Judgement currently pinning Asagi down and once she had a clear shot she charged the bullet with her own power before pulling the trigger. Unleashing a spiraling bullet that screamed through the air towards the Faux Judgement. +

Aero (21:38:10): * There was no time, no time, no time. There was no time to stop those attacks given how far away she was but... "...Invicta." Maxwell raises its hand and a familiar to a few people here clock-like emblem appears beneath the Craft. Suddenly both Interitus and the horned girl are pushed out of the ash cloud and the way of that attack. At the exact same instance Maxwell seems to have teleported into the attack and absorbed it using her Kijin abilities before the attack is replicated and fired back at the two crafts. +
