Mission 089 - Dead Ends

Aero (15:13:22): The Gloster Foundation, once the home of the many Kijin that lived on Earth now lays in ruins. The entire building was destroyed when the Earth was brought to the Kijin realm and now it holds the only way back to that place. The only thing left standing was the former battleground between Seta and Astara. The Gate that would lead you all back to the Kijin Realm.

Aero (15:15:41): A small number of Kijin are now preparing to activate the Gate once more. While that's happening, what's everyone doing?
Wyverncakes (15:17:01): Hibiki is doing her best to steel herself for what's going to come.
Wyverncakes (15:17:56): Needless to say having to stand and wait still makes her feel anxious.

griefgathering (15:18:18): Seta is standing before the Gate; mentally readying herself. In her hand is the amulet that holds her father's soul...and it seems to be glowing in response.

tengusaur (15:18:22): Asagi pops a pill for stomachache. Maybe this will help him feel less stressed about what's about to come. Still, he needs to be here.

tormterra (15:19:20): Kei is going over a final checklist to make sure everything is okay with the Huckebein. Even having grown more used to it, it still doesn't feel as comfortable as Purple-2 has gotten. And the stakes certainly doesn't help making her okay with being unprepared.

Wyverncakes (15:27:30): Hibiki: "I'm ready, Seta!" She's got her Symphogear armor on and everything even!
VJockey (15:27:45): [Volya takes a deep breath and repeats the words to himself.]

Aero (15:28:46): Astara: "Yeah...I'll follow you all into the Kijin Realm and keep the Gate up from that side. It should be a bit more stable having someone on each side."
griefgathering (15:29:37): Seta: "Everyone...thank you. And give it your best. That is all I can ask for."
tengusaur (15:29:44): Asagi: "That's a good idea. I'd rather not be stuck there if I can help it."
tormterra (15:29:45): As they take off, Kei sends a message to Seta. "If something goes wrong or the poison causes trouble, just tell me. I'll try to do something."
tormterra (15:30:04): Kei: "Agreed, I'd rather prefer not being stuck in a different world."

Peter Kampschroeder (15:30:58): Jen: "Yeah! Don't worry, we'll pull through."
Aero (15:31:41): The small group of Kijin begin to power the Gate. A familiar glow starts to envelops the area and your machines and a moment later light blinds you all for a second.
Aero (15:32:03): When your vision returns the familiar sight of the Kijin Realm greets you.

Wyverncakes (15:32:32): Familiar for most, that is.
Wyverncakes (15:33:41): The realm's appearance takes Hibiki by suprise for a moment, but then again she didn't know exactly what to expect. And now it's game face time!
Aero (15:34:05): A realm of darkness and light. Without the Earth there it's clear to see that the Kijin realm is...strange. It's nothing but a mass of broken buildings and ground all in monochrome, not a single color to be seen other than those of your allies.
VJockey (15:34:32): "I think I'm getting a headache looking at everything too long..."
Peter Kampschroeder (15:34:36): Jen: "...spooky.."
Aero (15:34:37): Astara: "Geh...I can feel him from here."
tengusaur (15:34:58): Asagi: "This place is so unlike Astara and Seta... Huh?"

Aero (15:37:00): Astara: "Good luck everyone."
Aero (15:37:21): Her gaze seems to be focused on Seta as she says this.
griefgathering (15:37:47): Seta returns that gaze with a smile.
VJockey (15:38:07): Interitus: "Thhhhbthhht!"
griefgathering (15:38:21): Seta: "We will be counting on you for the way home."
tormterra (15:38:53): Kei: "Everyone, we should make sure to keep track of Astara to make sure nothing happens to her while we're fighting."

Wyverncakes (15:39:24): Hibiki: "If you need help or anything, we'll come running as soon as we can!"
tengusaur (15:39:48): Asagi: "If we're still close enough to her during the battle. Astara, stay safe..."
griefgathering (15:40:25): The path Seta takes afterwards is pretty bizarre, because the bits and pieces of buildings and random debris seem to line up for her and everyone else.
tormterra (15:40:31): Kei: "Or we need to fall back."
tengusaur (15:40:44): Blue One is still walking on the ground for now. At least until any enemies are present. Asagi looks around the strange architecture, for ambushes.
Peter Kampschroeder (15:41:20): Jen: "Ah, let's hope nothing terrible like that happens..." And she hops and skips after Seta along the floating platforms.
Aero (15:41:31): Astara: "I'll be fine, I am the new leader of the Kijin on Earth after all." She manages to force a smile as the Unity Group heads off.
tormterra (15:42:01): Kei too keeps to the ground to avoid making herself a target and making the battle any mesier than it has to be.
Wyverncakes (15:42:38): Hibiki follows after too, trying to be extra (and conspiciously) alert for anyone that might come and attack them.
VJockey (15:43:52): [Interitus is keeping on all fours and wings folded, seemingly now more serpentine than usual now that her profile is lower.]
Aero (15:48:31): The path Seta has set you all on seems to somehow grow darker as you venture forward. A growing sense that someone is watching you accompanies it.

tormterra (15:50:29): Kei doesn't grumble, but she does increase vigilance as they move through the place
VJockey (15:50:43): [Interitus lets out a low growl, her wings twitching in response.]
griefgathering (15:51:38): Seta spares a look over her shoulder. "He is definitely close. Do not let your guard down."
griefgathering (15:51:55): She holds up the amulet almost like a lantern.

Aero (15:53:29): ???: "To think that you would willingly enter this realm in that shape Seta." A massive booming voice suddenly roars out from...everywhere.
Wyverncakes (15:53:58): Hibiki jumps, a bit, turning around!
Wyverncakes (15:54:03): They were surrounded?!?
tormterra (15:54:06): Kei: "Understood." She readies the photon magnum to be ready to fight back should anything happen. Not that it was needed, with how the emperor announced his presence
Aero (15:54:10): There's nothing behind you.
Peter Kampschroeder (15:54:30): Jen raises her pistol. "How is he doing that?"
VJockey (15:54:55): "... I don't know..."
tormterra (15:54:58): Kei: "Magic, probably."

cubey@aol.pl (15:55:23): Looking around intensifies! But Izuru sees nothing.
tengusaur (15:55:39): Asagi: "Definitely the emperor. Where is he? He can't be everywhere at once." He looks around quickly, alarmed.
griefgathering (15:55:41): Seta only looks ahead.

griefgathering (15:56:10): Seta: "I have come to settle a score...no matter what it takes."
tormterra (15:56:16): Kei looks around, trying to do determine his presence, even as she mostly focuses her attention forward like Seta.
VJockey (15:57:22): [Interitus... seemingly taking Izuru's words to heart.... starts clawing and trying to bite at the ground.]
VJockey (15:57:28): [Damnit Izuru.]
griefgathering (15:57:37): Seta: "All the suffering you have brought has lasted long enough. Not just for Earth, but for this place as well."
Aero (15:59:21): Once again an explosion of light envelops the area, shattering the "ground" you were standing on. Space bends and twists, those of you that can't fly crash land on some sort of large, barely visible emblem.

VJockey (16:00:05): [Interitus is quickly going to flap her wings and try to land safely. She also spits out a chunk of ground.]

tormterra (16:01:10): Thankfully, Kei can fly and manages to take to the air rather than crash into the ground, though she does land

griefgathering (16:01:19): "Gh..." Seta slowly gets up from where she's landed.

Aero (16:02:03): Colour seems to return to the area and several large glowing eyes are watching you through what seems to be a cloudy surrounding.

VJockey (16:03:51): *But rallies, letting out a scream as Interitus' wings snap to their full span and fire beams all over the place with full intention to hit the eyes!+
tengusaur (16:04:31): Asagi: "Only one way to find out!" He quickly launches several small missiles towards the closest pair of eyes! And, while they fly, he draws Blue One's heavy machinegun and opens a long burst of focused fire, covered by the explosions! +
tormterra (16:04:35): * "Why would they be there? He's not human." Regardless, Kei immediately snaps to aim at the eyes around them to see if causing damage would help things as she unleashes a burst of photon shots at some of the nearest one. +
griefgathering (16:06:09): Seta: *"If he is still recovering, then..." Seta partially summons RB, and only its one undamaged arm emerges, firing bolts of golden light at the cloudy mass!+
Aero (16:08:26): [Volya, Kei, Asagi] The eyes respond in kind, glowing bright for a second before unleashing several large lasers that sweep across the the combined fire in an effort to deflect the fire. The eyes even move around covering each other with a barrier of some sort. It doesn't look like unfocused fire would do much against them.

Aero (16:10:20): [Seta] The bolts meet the same fate as the previous projectiles, quickly being countered by return fire and barriers. "Pathetic, to think that you've degraded to such a state." Several of the eyes gather together and begin to charge a much more powerful shot which quickly blasts out at you Seta. [React]

Wyverncakes (16:10:45): * Then we'll see what a meaty, Symphogear-powered punch can do! With her song beginning to be sung, Hibiki tries to run and charge at one of the eyes before swinging her fist at one of the eyes!+
cubey@aol.pl (16:12:04): Izuru: "You don't know anything about Seta! You can't say such things!" *The super robot crouches down in front of the Kijin, its head and upper body covered by its massive arms, raised in a block.+
griefgathering (16:12:47): *Seta has the aforementioned arm interpose itself between her and the projectile. It's her best defense attempt for now.+
Aero (16:12:49): [Bikkie] As the singing begins the clouds seem to part, Bikkie can clearly see that there are a total of 14 eyes hiding within the mass. "What is this music!?" However, as the fist slams into the eye another barrier forms in front of it. Behind the barrier a laser was being charged. [React Bikkie]

Wyverncakes (16:13:56): * Another beam being charged? Hibiki dives out of the way as quickly and as unprofessionally as she can!+

Wyverncakes (16:14:38): Hibiki: "I-I saw a bunch of eyes! He's got a lot of them right there!" Cue pointing where she just attacked from.
VJockey (16:14:39): [Volya tries to sound confident. It doesn't take.]
tormterra (16:15:03): * Seeing the barrier pop up, Kei fires a few quick shots to distract the eye in question, moving around to attack it from different angles. "Dodge." She'd thought of scooping Hibiki up, but the size difference probably meant it would just do more harm than good. +
Aero (16:15:10): [Izuru and Seta] The lasers rip through RB's remaining arm with ease before slamming into the Grungust. The Super Robot skids across the ground just from the force of the blast. The armor of the machine stands strong and the machine only suffers from some scorches on it's arms. For all his bravado, it doesn't seem like he's completely recovered either.

Peter Kampschroeder (16:15:58): *Jen: "...C'mon, work..." Cethlenn's cloud of nanobots eats into the floor, forming a second pistol-which is employed along with its first to shoot at an eye in the direction Izuru pointed out.+
cubey@aol.pl (16:16:22): *As soon as it recovers balance, still in a kneeling position, the Grungust fires both of its fists at the enemy! "Follow the light! Boost Knuckle!" Leaving a trail of blue fire in their wake, they both aim for a single eye!+

Aero (16:18:15): [Bikkie] The fake lame replacement Gungnir that's not as cool as the old Gungnir user barely manages to get her butt out of the way. With the eyes focused on Bikkie one of the Photon Magnum's shots manages to tear through the eye. An angry roar follows as the eye disperses.
Aero (16:19:15): [Jen: The floor is made of magic floating emblems]

griefgathering (16:21:59): Seta looks over at the pieces of RB's arm that are now disintegrating after being shot through.
VJockey (16:23:13): *Interitus backs up Izuru's punches with a storm of lasers! Rather than following directly behind though they curve and spiral as far around it as they can before seeking to assault their mutual target from several angles at once!+
tengusaur (16:23:21): Asagi: "Until we find a way to identify a better weakpoint, let's just break them one by one!"
tormterra (16:24:03): Kei: "Right."
tormterra (16:24:14): (So, I'm completely lost...Who can go now? Still everyone?)
Aero (16:24:28): [Yup, feel free to take actions just not all at once]
Aero (16:25:21): [Jen and Izuru] The bullets fly and are met by another barrier, before he can charge another laser two massive fists fly into the barrier in stereo and shatter the barrier. A storm of lasers then converge on the eye and erase it from existence.
Wyverncakes (16:25:22): Getting back on her feet, Hibiki tries to dust herself off before moving in for another attack!
Aero (16:25:28): [Enemies: 11 eyes?]
tengusaur (16:25:29): * Asagi draws Blue One's katana, then rushes forward, towards one of the eyes! He slashes at it with a wide, spinning swing, then turns the sword in his hand and stabs right into the eye with both hands! +

Wyverncakes (16:25:54): "My song can help make the cloud go away so we can see the eyes... so just give me a moment!"

Wyverncakes (16:26:22): * Another charge, but this time Hibiki jumps/flings herself into the air for a stomping kick!+
tormterra (16:26:28): * Kei folluws up on Asagi's suggestion, turning to the nearest nearest eye, the one that had attacked Bikkie. Rather than try to rely on ammunition that could be shot down in some way or another, she pauses to deploy the omega cannon. After a brief moment of charging, a wave of pure, gravitational force flies forward towards the eye hopefully shattering whatever barriers are in the way. +
Peter Kampschroeder (16:28:08): Jen: "...Mmmrm." One down, but she's out five bullets from that. And there doesn't look to be all that much to transmute here...
Aero (16:28:17): [Asagi] The katana slashes through wisps before you manage to correct yourself as Gungnir clears the clouds. The thrust is once again stopped by the eye's barrier and he employs the exact same trick as earlier. [React to laser Asagi]
Aero (16:28:41): [Jen: There are still remains from the shattered ground floating way way above you]
tengusaur (16:31:08): * Asagi kicks away from the eye and employs his energy shield, swinging his katana in wide defensive strikes. He tries to deflect some of those lasers back at the eye! "Let's see if he's protected from his own attacks!" +

Aero (16:32:58): [Kei and Hibiki] Your kick stops completely in it's tracks. In fact, you start losing your balance on the thing and start to fall back. Several of the eyes even converge around you, wondering if you were actually a Kijin considering the derp levels here. A second later, the massive wave of gravitational force rips through the eyes gathered. Their futile attempts to raise a barrier are no match for a finisher with ignore barrier.
Peter Kampschroeder (16:33:06): *Those reflected lasers are accompanied by some of Jen's own bullets. The eyes don't seem to have any trouble when just one person attacks them, so...+

cubey@aol.pl (16:34:30): Izuru: "And I will..." The Grungust reaches out upwards. It starts running as something in its hand materializes like a runner's torch.
cubey@aol.pl (16:35:31): "Strike with the bright power! Lucent Sword!" *The blade materializes in Grungust Alpha's grip - and Izuru lunges, thrusting it into one of the eyes. A followup to the stab, a slash upwards to skewer it!+

Wyverncakes (16:36:09): Hibiki falls backwards on her butt... but but seeing those eyes get destroyed still makes her brighten up!
VJockey (16:36:37): *Interitus lets out a loud howl before unleashing the stun cloud right into one of the eyes, sparks dancing all through the fog!+
Aero (16:39:01): [Also approved Seta]
Aero (16:39:39): [Asagi and Jen] The few lasers that get through pierce the barrier sear a large scar across the chest of the AHSMB, on the other hand the reflected lasers also pierce through the barriers employed by the eyes. Easily setting up the nanomachine lady for the kill as another eye is penetrated and destroyed.
Aero (16:40:20): Invicta: "Ridiculous, to think I would be having trouble with the scum that is humanity."
tengusaur (16:40:27): Asagi: "Light damage... Acceptable."
cubey@aol.pl (16:40:44): Izuru: "Ah, Asagi!"
tengusaur (16:41:08): Asagi: "I'm okay, Izuru. We'll show this guy what he gets for underestimating humanity!"
griefgathering (16:41:10): Seta: *"I will assist you..." And just to prove she's not down and out just yet, the allied Kijin raises her hand to cast something. Blades of light form around the Lucent Sword, orbiting it as Izuru strikes!+
griefgathering (16:44:54): Seta: "Asagi is right. With this momentum, surely..."

Aero (16:47:32): [Volya, Seta, Izuru] The cloud surrounds the remaining eyes forcing them to stay in place to defend themselves. Currents hit the barriers repeatedly as the Super Robot approaches. The massive blade easier shatters the barrier it contacts and the eye behind it as well. The followup upward stab is further enhanced, the blades of light spin rapidly and somehow enhances the blade enough to cause a massive pillar of light to shoot out as the blade swings through the air, completely destroying the remaining eyes. What can only be described as a scream of pain follows.

The Kijin Emperor takes physical shape once again and his figure is...massive. The Emperor towers over all of you, standing over a kilometer tall. Before you can even say a word a dark explosion suddenly erupts from the middle of all of you. [React Everyone!]

Aero (17:00:22): [Kei] As quickly as you escaped the explosion almost seemed near instant. Even being blasted for a second caused sections of the machine to be blown off. The machine was still in one piece due to the quick response but another hit like that could be really bad.
tormterra (17:02:04): Kei is rocketed by the explosion, but once she's out she gets a good look at their enemy. "Which head is the real one?"
Aero (17:03:32): [Volya Asagi Jen] Again, the near instant explosion made evasion hard. As the plant dragon tried to escape with Jen one of it's wings is just removed by the explosion. Sending both Cethlenn and Interitus crashing into the ground. Asagi fares no better and the explosion slams the AHSMB into the debris as well.
Aero (17:05:12): [Izuru] The Grungust manages to tank the explosion as it makes it's escape, but damage was gathering. Sparks start to fly from the damaged parts of the Super Robot to show that it was not doing so hot.

Once the gravity wave finally stops the barrier seems to crack...and then shatters. However, the glass-like shards stop mid-air and then all point towards the Huckebein and fly at the machine. Aero (17:24:45): [Asagi] Like Kei before, the same clock-like barrier emerges to meet the huge beam. The hands on the emblem are now at 11 o'clock. And just like with Kei the emblem shatters as the beam ends and more shards from the destroyed emblem soar out to chase the AHSMB. [React Asagi]
VJockey (17:25:41): *Jen, your answer is Volya letting out a scream in sync with Interitus letting out a massively loud howl. Cethlenn snagged by Interitus' tail before being catapulted upwards. Really. Really. REALLY FAST before she charges on all fours at the Kijin Emperor! One wing means half as many lasers but they're continuously being let out, screaming through the air in absurd twists and curves before she follows, flinging herself bodily with tooth and claw and attempting to maul and bite and tear!+
Aero (17:27:24): [Kei] The shards start falling one by one. Somehow one manages to slip through the barrage of photons and hits the Huckebein however...no visible damage seems to happen. The only thing that changes Kei is that suddenly everyone else is moving really really fast.
tengusaur (17:27:28): Asagi: "This clock-like barrier... There must be some kind of trick to it." He can't think too hard about this right now though, too busy evading the shards coming his way! He fires a smaller, less charged up beam at the largest ones. +

Aero (17:29:19): [Asagi] The beam sweeps through, destroying most of the shards as well. Thankfully you avoid getting hit. For some reason though Kei is talking to you in super slow motion. It's hard to make out her words.

tormterra (17:32:09): Kei looks distinctly unamused as she replies to the ridiculously fast chipmunk speed, speeding up to talk as fast as she can herself. "Don't get hit. It slows you."
Aero (17:34:11): [Asagi] You manage to make out her words...barely.
tengusaur (17:35:40): Asagi: "...Understood." He tries not to comment too much on this ridiculous situation. What a weird attack.
Aero (17:45:31): [Berserker Team] The Emperor's massive hands out to meet the blade and is impaled. In an instant the energy blade explodes out and the entire arm is destroyed. Sending remnants of the arm crashing down onto the 'ground' below. Even while in pain, Invicta still managed to raise the clock barrier as the berserkers approached. 10 o'clock is shattered by the berserk Gungnir, then 9 by Interitus' lasers, then 8 by Bikkie once again, then 7 by Interitus. As each emblem shattered, dozens of shards impaled into the two. Slowing them down further and further before they seem to come to a complete stop from an outside prospective.
Aero (17:45:42): The lower head of the Emperor roars and a wave of force slams into the both of them over and over again. From their perspectives he did this instantly before he snapped his finger. Returning their speed's to it's regular self. The force is crushing, Bikkie would feel every bone in her body snap as the berserker is sent soaring backwards. Interitus does no better and is also crushed under the massive sonic wave. As for the Grungust...the grabs the Super Robot in one of it's free hands and lifts the machine up before slamming it into the ground. The magical platform actually buckles from the force and then the Emperor began to close his grip, crushing the Grungust further. If this kept up...

tormterra (18:06:40): * Even so, Kei follows Asagi's pretty obvious idea, peppering the emperor with a few quick blasts from the photon magnum. It shouldn't break the attack, but it would hopefully tick the clock down faster. And if she managed to time it right, she might even knock multiples off. Even so, she kept moving to not immediately have to react to any shattering or sudden attacks. +
Peter Kampschroeder (18:07:09): Jen: "Hey, Mr. Invicta? So I know I'm just a human, and I know I'm beneath your notice..." She's been busy during this dramatic re-appearance, chaining together those ruined fragments of platforms and working over them with her nanobots, high in the sky above the battlefield. The end result? Cethlenn is standing next to a three-barreled gatling gun easily three times its size, so heavy it's got its own support. "But, you know, you might want to pay attention..."

tengusaur (18:07:45): Asagi: "I'm willing to take that chance!" Blue One kicks off a piece of flying rubble, boost jumping towards the emperor and spinning its spear over its head as it does so! Asagi stabs the polearm into the huge opponent, lets it there for a moment, draws his katana and slashes several times quickly, the last strike making Blue One spin around, grab the spear again, and then slash with both weapons simultaneously in an X-shaped strike! +
griefgathering (18:09:04): *Provenance's eyes glow brightly, and it thrusts an arm forward. The motion looks like someone pushing water to create a wave, but instead of water, black and red fireballs erupt from the Craft's palm, lancing out like an attack from a bullet-hell game!+
Aero (18:11:19): [Kei and Jen] The combined barrage hits the Emperor from different sides, and also hitting separate clocks. The time continues to tick down as the two clocks shatter. A massive sword forms in one of Invicta's free hands and he swings the blade in a huge wide arc to try to catch both machines. [React both of ya]
Aero (18:11:41): [It is now 4 o'clock]
tormterra (18:13:12): * With a big, telegraphed arc like that, Kei tried to dodge by moving in the one direction his reach didn't extend. Up. Immediately switching her trajectory, she catapulted the Huckebein upwards, over the sword hopefully clearing its arc entirely. +

Aero (18:16:31): [Asagi] The spear pierces into the Emperor, he does not seem to bother with using a clock barrier this time around. As the last x-slash is about to hit a extremely long but thin spear forms in yet another free hand and impales Blue One through it's chest. "Insects like you need to be exterminated." He releases his grip on the spear and then swings his claws towards you while you're impaled. [React Izuru]
Aero (18:16:43): [Derp Asagi, you both are clones anyways]
tengusaur (18:19:40): Asagi: "Nobody who tried succeeded so far...!" He kicks away from emperor, pulling the spear out with the same movement and trying to use it to block the incoming claws! +
Aero (18:22:03): [Jen, Kei, Izuru, Seta, Asagi] Jen and Kei manage to escape the swing of the blade thanks to some quick evasion and a little help from Izuru. The massive blade still rips through the air, sending a shockwave through the battlefield. Invicta even shatters his own spear to try to get at Asagi but is forced to stop and form another clock barrier when the mass of bullets and fireballs threatened to tear into him. The emblems shatter...and another...and another. Before the shards can do anything they are devoured by dark flame. His body itself is finally hit and the Emperor roars in pain again.

Aero (18:29:55): And with one final swing he completely shatters Seta's craft around her. Her last inheritance from her father...gone in an instant.

Aero (18:35:56): [Interitus] The mass of vines cover the Emperor and bind his blade back if only for a few seconds. "How are you moving!?" He continues to push forward, ripping off as many vines from Interitus as he could.

tengusaur (18:37:33): Asagi keeps struggling... But slowly, Blue One's arm starts to move forward, gripping something. And then, its finger pushes the trigger! A large beam from the photon cannon fires right at the emperor's incoming hand! Asagi used all the time he had to analyze where it's the most vulnerable and hitting it would cause the most damage! +
tormterra (18:37:56): * Suddenly able to move again, Kei doesn't bother with proclamation or anything. They had one shot before they died and they had to make it count. Yet again she charges the Omega Cannon, pausing for a second to take careful aim at the head of the Kijin emperor, firing once again simply hoping that it will count this time around. +
Aero (18:41:23): [Bikkie, Izuru, Asagi, Jen, Kei] The massive blades clash, the fate of your friends is on your shoulders Izuru. Invictus begins to overpower your blade however...one kick hits his sword arm...then a barrage of ammo...then another beam which rips right through his hand. Before the blade can even do any more the Alpha Strike follows. The explosion destroys his blade and both his spear and and thearm holding the sword. Invicta is sent flying back from the force of the explosion. His attempts to recover are met by Gravity striking him head on and removing his head from his body.

griefgathering (18:42:15): Fortunately, that attack was more straightforward than the darkness before.
griefgathering (18:43:51): Seta's human body was more or less gone, but it was far from over. From the fragments of the Craft a bright light emerges, and in it is a large creature, about half as long as Invicta is tall, that resembles a snake.

griefgathering (18:50:06): *Light and darkness converge while Seta spreads her wings, and suddenly accelerates. By the time it makes contact, she looks more like a meteor than a serpent!+

Aero (18:52:56): [Seta] The Emperor's body fills with crack...the eye in the center of the machine gives one look at the Kijin. "Even if I die...another will take my place...I....promise you....that." The dark cloud starts to leak from Invicta's body as the eye begins to shatter. Seta rips through what was left and his entire body turns to dust. The dimension that the Emperor brought all of you into dissipates and the Kijin Realm quickly replaces it.
