aldo salt (03:29:30): Dido drops a wrench. "…" She pops her knuckles. "…SARAHHHH!!!" She starts running for the ShelLancer.
VJockey (03:30:14): Thankfully Solaris HQ is in Japan, meaning that it would be all but child's play to get to from Sakihama. Shuttle or no.
tengusaur (03:30:52): Roger: "So much for a calm eventless day... Big O! It's showtime!"
VJockey (03:32:00): The relatively isolated location means that no innocents can get in the crossfire. So there was at least one small relief.
aldo salt (03:32:16): Dido slips her headset on in the cockpit, then closes her eyes and exhales. "Ken." She says. "Do you know Mizuki's whereabouts?"

VJockey (03:37:00): Whatever the case may be, the shuttle's engines are warming up and taking passengers.

aldo salt (03:39:25): Dido leaving the cockpit open, steers ShelLancer into the hanger bay. "She'll be there." She says to Ken. "She has to be…there's no way she'd pass up a chance to take on Sara!"

VJockey (03:42:40): With everybody on board the shuttle's engines roar to life and make a swift journey towards Solaris HQ!

aldo salt (03:43:13): Dido sucks in her breath at Ken's remark. "Ooh-boy…hey, shuttle pilot! Step on it!"

Meraxa (03:43:45): Ken: Please don't be too late...
VJockey (03:44:54): You can all see Solaris HQ. The facility itself has taken a heavy beating, and the surrounding forest more or less looks reminescent of the Vietnam War with extra napalm.

VJockey (03:46:21): Shuttle Pilot: "We've arrived! Prepare for battlefield deploy-"
tengusaur (03:46:26): Roger: "They're not pulling any punches." He sounds serious. Partially because he's not used to seeing forests and doesn't approve of them being reduced to such state.
VJockey (03:46:55): There was a sudden crackling shriek over the comms just as the shuttle rocks violently and goes into a nosedive.
VJockey (03:47:30): Sending it right in the middle of HQ in a rough landing...

tengusaur (03:49:00): Roger: "Tch... Get into hiding, pilot. Thanks for the ride, but it's not safe here!" As soon as the hatch opens, Big O jumps out, landing on the ground heavily.

VJockey (03:49:43): As soon as you leave the shuttle you'd notice that its Cockpit was shredded apart.
aldo salt (03:50:09): Dido rubs at a cut on her face. "Ugh…could be worse." She slams down on the sensor CPU, and her HUD lights up with countless enemy icons. "…not by much though."
VJockey (03:50:19): "Right on time. Just like I thought you would be."
tengusaur (03:50:21): Roger: "A bit too late for that..."
aldo salt (03:50:48): She opens a channel to Solaris HQ. "Director! This is Dido Sybil! Me and Ken are on the scene! What's the sit?"
VJockey (03:51:15): A robotic dolphin descends from the sky, armor shifting into a form that Ken and Dido would most definitely be familiar with.

aldo salt (03:55:39): Dido clenches her teeth. "Ken." She says. "Find Dawnbird and its pilot. The rest of us will…" Fight off? Hold off? Counter? "…delay them. If we're gonna win, we need a SolSavior!"

Meraxa (03:58:43): Ken: You su- *Ken stops, before shaking his head.* Got it! Beast Mode! *The ScarleTiger dives forward into its feline form, lowering its profile as Ken seeks to scour the base. But first, he'll have to break free, and to break free, he'll slash super heated claws at the Praetorians in his way!+
aldo salt (04:01:11): Dido whistles in relief. "…thanks for trusting me, Ken." She starts targeting the incoming Indalph. "Now," She growls, "who's gonna die first?"
VJockey (04:01:16): Ken! You dash through the group of beasts, carving bloody gouges through their bodies... and at fatally for at least three. However you not only get several acid splashes hocked your way, but the Centaur thing is all but galloping to block your path-
VJockey (04:01:30): "I challenge you... to a duel!"

frifreeman (04:03:22): Walt: "Aha, forest! Best environment for weaker force like my team to face against more powerful enemy. Also best environment to get turned insane by the war and/or having flashback about the time I got turned insane by the war."
frifreeman (04:04:22): Walt: "Team, spread out on the forest. Use the trees for our advantage! Shoot, then move. Shoot then move!"
tengusaur (04:04:25): Roger: "Try not to turn insane right now, alright?"
frifreeman (04:04:57): Walt and his team spread and do as he says. They let loose some shots at the praetorian, then move to obscure themselves in the trees.+
Meraxa (04:05:05): Ken: When I get back. Then I can give you all the time in the world. Drive Mode! *Ken lowers the profile of his machine even further, seeking to slip right through the gap in the centaur's feet! But a brief burst of fire from the nitro might do a bit of damage as he tries to pass! +

VJockey (04:10:18): Dido! Your storm of arc thorns make for a shocking realization for the Monarch as it backs off, its hammer narrowly missing Ken! Still... that eye fixates on you with irritation.

VJockey (04:13:45): Ken! However while you make your escape... you find a barrage of missiles launched at you by Echaos... and not only that... but SolEraser moves in before quickly seperating in order to try to cut off your escape! Weaponsfire and corrosive blasts are scattered around... but the lack of coordination between them has some of the barrage intercept each other... maybe... will you try to force your way through? React again.
aldo salt (04:15:07): *"Is this guy serious…?" Dido mutters. "If we're going to do this duel thing, then let's mix things up!" She says to the Monarch's pilot. "You choose a weapon for me to wield, and then I will choose the weapon you use! Let our adaptability decide the victor!"
VJockey (04:15:10): Walt & Izuru. Were this a more unfair world Walt, you might have shot one of your wingmen by accident. Thankfully you still have IFF and manage to nail a praetorian with the wild and repeated shots. Izuru's twin eye beams of JUSTICE also nail one that was attempting to flank you and kill you from behind!

Meraxa (04:16:33): Ken: You won't stop me! *Ken's words are more a prayer than certainty, swerving towards the nearest of the separated Eraser machines. So long as he can duck past them, maybe he can have them absorb some friendly fire!+

The massive Megadeus moves forward, fully intending to break through any enemies blocking the way. Any Praetorian that's close enough will receive a few powerful punches, intended to smash them apart or throw them towards other Indalph minions! +

Dido raises ShelLancer's lance, gripping it with both hands as it crackles with electricity…and then Shell-Boosts towards the falling chunk of building and swings her lance at it like a baseball bat! "…Not bad, Vantho! Just like a day at the park!" She tries to hit the building chunk right back towards the Monarch softball style!+

VJockey (04:25:39): Izuru! Sara isn't going to sit still and let you hit her, the machine switches to its dolphin mode and dives into the ground, phasing through it while making that clicking noise of the damned as your punch wings a building. It suddenly breaches from the ground in front of the Grungust, swirling in the air like a demented acrobat and brings its whirling drill down at you! React!

VJockey (04:28:28): Roger! The Megadeus punches left and right, sending the snakebeasts flying with crushed faces or torsos... but a few manage to dig their claws into Big-O's arms and split open with a horrific tearing noise. Raw flesh rending asunder to reveal a collection of volatile pods that were about to be launched point blank! React!+
cubey@aol.pl (04:28:51): "I will be the hero!" *The rocket punch returns, striking at eChaos from behind! Whether Sara is hit or dodges, Izuru uses this opportunity - both of Grungust's arms slam down on eChaos together, even if only one of them has an actual hand!+
tengusaur (04:30:00): Roger: "Missiles? Let's see who's faster on the draw! Cannon Party, fire!" Slots open in Big O's chest, and heavy guns fire from them towards the pods, trying to blow them up before they launch! +
VJockey (04:31:34): Dido! Vantho simply spins the shotel once before slashing at the returned attack. Stampeding towards ShelLancer and... hooking one of his Praetorians onto the blade, incidentally splitting it open to reveal the same mess Roger had to deal with before serving THAT up to you and from the looks of things the monster's about to go off!! Incoming action bomb! REACT!
VJockey (04:33:08): Roger. The answe is you. You were faster on the draw. The explosions send bits of monster all over the place and Big O is barely even scratched aside from the limply dangling claws that soon just fall off with nothing left to exert pressure onto the megadeus' armor.
VJockey (04:34:03): Izuru! You manage to land a strike on Sara! That's the good news, even if the drill manages to land nothing but a small scratch she has to divert...
VJockey (04:34:25): the bad news is that right after that scratch, eChaos let out a horrific shriek before it backed off!

aldo salt (04:35:11): *Dido whistles under her breath. "Oh, you saucy bastard…Shell Flak!" As she tries to retreat backwards with a rear Shell-Boost, She fires are her forward armor flak tubes, trying to detonate the action bomb early before impact!+

Meraxa (04:40:28): Ken: Come on... Where are you? *As Ken continues his search, he casts out his senses. Trying to discern the energies of those within, whether in the form of ki, or as the black hole that void energy felt like+
frifreeman (04:42:43): Walt jump and stab a flatfooted pratorian from behind with his heat stick. "Come on everyone, fish them into the woods so our bigger bots can deal with their bigger bots! Oh, and kill them at your own discretion too, of course. Try not to fall into the darkness in your own heart while you do that.+
VJockey (04:45:56): Ken! Unfortunately there's just too much interference from the battlefield to get an accurate read. You know Mizuki is present but you can't feel where. Additionally you have Tiel's DraCannon charging you while firing indiscriminately... Friendly fire isn't as a few Praetorians find out... but you're still in the killzone! React!

Meraxa (04:50:47): Ken: Ngh, just won't leave me alone. Beast Mode... *Ken shifts in sudden succession again, claws burning against the already scorched woodland. He tries to stir up smoke to cover his tracks... and his attempt to jump a struck praetorian, and kick it with all four feet towards the artillery lizard!+
VJockey (04:50:55): Vantho's eye glares at Dido, the Monarch tensing heavily... then it breaks into a run! Dashing towards a storage area!
VJockey (04:51:51): "Siphor! With me! We shall bring honor to the Indalph... by destroying their Sol weapon while its helpless!"

tengusaur (04:52:31): Roger: "I didn't think there'd be much honor in destroying a helpless weapon."

Sizzling through the air, it covers the air between the Grungust and the hangar with a wide, destructive ray. eChaos, Monarch, all component machines - if they don't get out of the way, the Alpha Blaster will hit them hard!+

tengusaur (05:00:27): Roger: "Hold it right there." Big O fires a Moby Dick Anchor, trying to attach it to Siphor's machine and stop his advance. Dido will take care of Vantho, hopefully. &
VJockey (05:02:09): Izuru! The remaining Praetrorians are fried but before the attack can reach the rest eChaos swings around and lets loose another screech and... panels on the Grungust are sparking after a while as the beam begins to short out and die, barely damaging Sara, Tiam and Azel. Screens start spewing out warnings about internal damage. Oh, and your ears are probably ringing too...

aldo salt (05:05:11): "Izuru!" Dido shouts. She zooms in on the Grungust's smoking chest mind racing. "…ain't your fault, Izuru." Dido says. "She's just good at hitting people under the belt!"

tengusaur (05:07:02): Roger: "I see you're good at blocking. However...!" Big O grabs the chain of the anchor with its hands, and then swings it around, trying to slam into the side of Roger's opponent and knock him off his course! +
aldo salt (05:08:11): *Dido plays things simple, firing a volley of Arc Thorns at Siphor and the Monarch's back!+
VJockey (05:10:26): The DreadVenom is indeed knocked off course! Siphor does his best to manuever after the strike but all he seems to be able to do is crash into the Monarch and give Dido more surface area to work with for the spread of her Arc Thorns!
VJockey (05:11:58): Still... this would not go unpunished. Despite the shocking attack, Vantho has just enough time to send a barrage of rather painful looking quills coated in... something at the Shellancer! React!
VJockey (05:12:24): Walt! You really stick it to the Praetorian! As do your teammates as they manage to counter-stealth attack the beasts.... but you will be forever changed by the experience...
or... you know. Stay the same.

VJockey (05:20:48): Dido! You don't have to worry about the quills because Izuru has that covered! And the response you get is a good one, because the signals are all but lighting up the silo.
VJockey (05:22:02): But before anything can be done the Monarch is shoving DreadVenom away from it and tearing open the storage hangar. Techs who have not yet evacuated are fleeing in a panic.
aldo salt (05:22:05): Dido grins. "Nice…thanks for the assist, Izuru!" She moves ShelLancer out of cover and advances towards the Indalph again. "Let's make this good."

VJockey (05:23:25): Vantho laughs at the clever irony of his own joke.

aldo salt (05:23:46): Then she curses. "Vantho! Face me, you hypocritical ass!"
VJockey (05:23:59): He drops his shotel in favor of dropping his fist on the tech.

Wyverncakes (05:26:15): And suddenly something seems to... stir from the mechanic's shadow.
Meraxa (05:26:37): Ken: ...There she is.
Wyverncakes (05:27:39): And then suddenly the Monarch's fist is countered by two more, rising up from that shadow, the figure's garb transforming into regal black and gold... and a bright yellow eye shining from the depths of her shadow!
Wyverncakes (05:29:08): "'Swarm's Harbringer', you've overstepped your boundaries here too many times to counter... and in the name of the darkness, die! ABYSS SANCTION!"

Still... he resists the damage and attempts to regroup - albeit jerkily as he lets loose several scattered cannon blasts all over the place.

She shakes her head. "Don't you get it? You're just another cog in its mechanism. And when you wear out, it'll just plod along and find another piece to use!"

VJockey (06:27:44): There are choked cries of pain from within SolEraser. It seems that despite the control Vantho had, they were still trying to push the odds to the Unity Group's favor.
VJockey (06:28:36): "Oh come now. Don't resist. Your minds will be erased for your treachery, but at the very least cooperate and I can make it painless."

The DuskBird dove towards the ScarleTiger, which in turn charged at the ShelLancer. In a flash the machines began to transform, the two gigantic legs extending from the Lancer's shell as the side opposite of it opened up and swung down, forming hips. The ScarleTiger -now forming an incomplete torso with a right arm- connected with the white machine. The contrasting colors mixed and flowed; red, orange, and white arranged perfectly.

And lastly the DuskBird docked with the ScarleTiger's back, nearly its entire form now that of a black arm radiating malevolence. From the combined machine's back the DuskBird's six wings unfurled, displaying their full size and granduer, and a white head framed in a black, avian helmet rose up from the robot's body. It punched out with one fist, its eyes flashing violet and gold.

VJockey (06:46:40): The SolEraser goes crashing through the hangar. Its trying to get up, but with the impact and the damage it took... not to mention Vantho's own disorientation it was slow going!
