cubey@aol.pl (05:04:17): If you wonder such a thing, your thoughts are suddenly cut short as you hear a pained, almost animalistic scream.

Wyverncakes (05:04:26): Mizuki's been brooding over the latest difficulties regarding SolSavior... but now this happening...?
VJockey (05:04:28): [Volya falls over in a panic once again! He's scrambling off the floor to get to Interitus who had sat up attentively and was growling.]
VJockey (05:04:38): [And then there was that.]
aldo salt (05:04:41): "Fudge-Skittles!" Dido runs for her mech, then pauses. "The hell is that noise?"

cubey@aol.pl (05:10:50): On the floor a few meters in front of you lies something horrible. It's like a pile of bones and meat, like if someone butchered an animal and just threw effects of their work on the ground in a bloody heap.

Wyverncakes (05:11:48): The sight gives Mizuki pause... but only for a moment as she raises her hands up into fists.

aldo salt (05:13:46): Dido grits her teeth and preps the ShelLancer for launch. Hopefully Mizuki and Sarah can handle whatever's going on in the base...

cubey@aol.pl (05:15:15): It's not a coat, but rather a human or animal like skin, acting independently. You see the red of its underside.

cubey@aol.pl (05:15:49): Suddenly, a part of the pile lifts itself up - a limb created from flesh and bones, and punches the animated skin in the back(?)!

cubey@aol.pl (05:16:10): This creature convulses before releasing another inhuman shriek, similar to the one before.
cubey@aol.pl (05:16:16): Walt and Dido can hear it as well.
cubey@aol.pl (05:16:30): And just as you close your cockpit hatches, you notice something dripping on your units.
cubey@aol.pl (05:17:20): Skinless humanoid monsters drop down on both of your machines, trying to force their way into the partially closed cockpits!

cubey@aol.pl (05:18:23): It moves like some kind of slug, the pile of flesh not moving behind it though that one single limb continues waving around.
cubey@aol.pl (05:18:44): "Hello, hello, hello..." You can hear a quiet whisper, followed by something resembling a whimper and a cry.
aldo salt (05:18:45): *Dido goes pale. "Not good…Really Not Good!" Pepper spray won't work against something with no eyes! She kicks at it with her boot a few times, then pulls the onboard fire extinguisher from above her head and tries to spray it out!+

VJockey (05:19:16): *Several vines uncoil themselves from Interitus' limbs before lashing out at the skin-monsters attempting to force their way to Walt and Dido - seeking to squeeze down on them hard before flinging them into a wall and keeping them there.+

frifreeman (05:20:56): Walt: "Everyone, get inside your machine and seal it now!" Walt commands his team. As he pulls his sidearm and shoot the creature a couple of times.

Peter Kampschroeder (05:21:56): *Sarah's path is clear: Explosively release her power and strike the nearest creature in the body. Do sunlight powers work on these things? Only one way to find out.+
cubey@aol.pl (05:23:19): The monster bursts into flames and falls down to the ground, slowly charring. It made no noise - but others approach Sarah. They do not seem to be attacking, but rather extends their arms forward - as if it was a greeting.

Wyverncakes (05:23:39): * The same goes for testing out the effectsof Void energy. Her clothes already shifting to regal attire again, she spares Volya just a few words! "The second you see a chance to run to safety, do it!" And with that she advances, punching one of the monsters moving towards Sarah!+

cubey@aol.pl (05:24:23): Walt and Dido try to take care of the monsters that are swarming into their cockpits - and some tentacles pick them up and throw them away, allowing you to close your machines safely.

cubey@aol.pl (05:25:03): The abominations were thrown away, but quickly stand up. They start walking - towards each other.
aldo salt (05:25:13): Dido seals her cockpit up. "Fricking Japanese ghost story." She mutters, grabbing a hold on the controls. "Walt, you alright?"
cubey@aol.pl (05:25:23): They are forming a clump as they climb up on one another, more appearing from side corridors to add to the fleshy construction.

cubey@aol.pl (05:25:59): Something that looks like a genoace. A genoace made of flesh - though if you look closely, you can see where one component monster's body ends and another begins, limbs and head still visible.
Wyverncakes (05:27:36): Mizuki: "You really want to take that chance with how they're intruding?"

aldo salt (05:29:05): "This isn't gonna end well." Dido muses, grabbing ShelLancer's lance. "But I'm not gonna get digested by a hypochondriac parallel reality. Not today!"
cubey@aol.pl (05:29:15): The creature's hand holds onto yours Sarah - but doesn't try to shake it. Ins fact, it doesn't let go at all!
cubey@aol.pl (05:29:40): And you feel its slimy surface holding tight against your skin like a disgusting suction cup.

cubey@aol.pl (05:30:03): Its other hand tries to grab at you the same way - and so do the others, who suddenly rush you, all trying to grab you and then take you away!

Wyverncakes (05:32:45): * To the visceral horror, Mizuki adds her own darkness! Her shadow, cast upon a nearby wall begins to stir... and with a commanding point of her finger suddenly the DuskBird's gigantic fist comes swinging out into the hallway to smash through the oncoming horde!+

Peter Kampschroeder (05:32:49): *Sarah: "OKAY NO". She brings her free hand into a punch at the monster's face, then is gonna start running the other way full speed.+

cubey@aol.pl (05:33:10): In fact, three of them already start peeking into the hangar.
cubey@aol.pl (05:33:33): Howe: "At this rate we will be overrun. Kill the ones closest to you and work your way up from there. Schmertz, you can see their weak points, right?"
frifreeman (05:33:41): Walt: "It could be worse" Walt replies to Dido.
frifreeman (05:34:00): Walt: "Well, anything could be worse, so that's not much, really."

cubey@aol.pl (05:35:23): Dido's attack/summon punches a whole through the wall - and through the crowd of monsters too.
VJockey (05:36:21): *Quickly scooping Volya up and into the safety of her own body (that did not sound right at all) Interitus soon proceeds to let loose at the MS copies with her wing Lasers, the beams curving about to avoid causing friendly casualties to cripple the enemy!+
cubey@aol.pl (05:36:28): Sarah is free, but the creature breaking away from her body was painful. You can see bloody marks left on your arm.
aldo salt (05:36:46): *"First things first!" Dido steps forward with ShelLancer, and jabs it's lance into the allegorical flesh of the faux-Genoace! "Freud can get stuffed! Lance Shock…discharging!" Electricity sizzles through it's body!+

Peter Kampschroeder (05:37:21): Sarah: "Ffffff-" She slides under the Duskbird's oncoming punch, then stands up once she's past Mizuki. "Yeah. Not doing that again."
frifreeman (05:37:41): Walt raises his gun. "It's really like magic eye picture. I don't know how I never saw it before." And he shoots at a point in the air.+
cubey@aol.pl (05:37:58): The laser fry the side of one of those suits. Parts of it fall to the ground in the form of charred corpses.
cubey@aol.pl (05:38:09): However, still damaged it lifts up an arm - holding a beam rifle. It fires!
cubey@aol.pl (05:38:49): Instead of a beam, a long fleshy tentacle comes out. It bursts into a bloody splurt when it hits... something. Was it you Interitus? React

cubey@aol.pl (05:41:44): As Dido strikes at the faux Genoace, it raises a saber - made of component bodies, and slashes down on you in a simple straightforward motion!
cubey@aol.pl (05:42:25): The shock causes most of the Genoace's components to seperate and turn into a monstrous crowd on the floor, but it quickly starts to already reform. Most - but not the saber, which sucks onto ShellLancer on contact!
cubey@aol.pl (05:43:09): You have now a meaty growth holding into ShellLancer, and judging from alerts in the cockpit - it tries to dissolve your armor. React!

cubey@aol.pl (05:43:36): Mizuki and Sarah can go now - you can either retreat to board your units, or fight on foot.

Wyverncakes (05:45:17): Hands clenched, she isn't keen on falling back just yet.
Peter Kampschroeder (05:45:26): Sarah: "How the hell am I supposed to know?!"
aldo salt (05:45:48): *"Oh no you don't!" Dido highlight the armor plate under attack on her HUD screen, then slams down on her panic button. "Watch out guys….Shell Flak Discharging!" The organic Saber gets utterly shredded as flak rounds in ShelLancer's armor fire into it at point blank range!_

Wyverncakes (05:47:14): "I don't intend to leave anyone at the mercy of these things."
aldo salt (05:48:05): "Guys!" Dido shouts. "This may be old news…but I think these things secret acid! Don't get suckered in! In both meanings of the phrase!"
Peter Kampschroeder (05:48:11): "Well, if you can stand being near me for this..."
cubey@aol.pl (05:48:45): Well, that was a good counterattack. The creatures are obliterated at point blank.
Wyverncakes (05:48:45): There's a long pause, until finally... "We'll see. Hopefully."
VJockey (05:48:53): *Interitus swats the tentacle away - no telling if the burst would hurt its hand. But in any case it lets loose its stun cloud breath weapon at the creature to give it a full body electric shock!+
cubey@aol.pl (05:49:04): The rest of the mobile suit tries to regrow, but it is only partial. It looks unnervingly thin now.
cubey@aol.pl (05:49:51): Interitus finds that as soon as it is swatted, the tentacle does not go away - but rather sticks to it!

cubey@aol.pl (05:50:17): The bloody explosion is not only sticky but also hot and hurts. Not as much as real beams, but it is still not to be ignored!

cubey@aol.pl (05:50:38): The electricity manages to disassemble the mobile suit though, and the tentacle falls limp.

Wyverncakes (05:50:48): * Her shadow ripples again. The confines of the hallway mean that summoning the DuskBird entirely is out of the question, but still parts of it are possible. Enough to grant her ranged attacks so she doesn't have to get too close to them... like the DuskBird's head, peeking out of the floor underneath her just enough for its eyes to be exposed! "Now then, let's see how monsters of flesh and blood stand up against Light and Darkness!" The eyes glimmer for a moment before firing two beams of energy at the Skin Monster!+

Peter Kampschroeder (05:53:07): *"Well then, time's a-wastin'." Sarah cracks her knuckles, and proceeds to start punching the nearest monsters she can find to death. She'll be focusing on clearing out areas and checking for any survivors.+

cubey@aol.pl (05:53:46): Hearing that shriek, all the other creatures (except the immobile pile of flesh) start... to head in a direction opposite of yours?

She'll charge forward as hard as she can, doing a long jump to get some distance over the monster horde, then kicking off the ceiling to land near the girl. For the last stretch of distance, she'll just plow through everything in her path, then try to grab the girl and run.+
frifreeman (05:58:30): Walt shield himself against the bodyslam with, well, his shield, as he fires his thruster away from the horde of creatures.+
cubey@aol.pl (05:59:15): "We have found me. We know I am here now." The strange arm eye girl tells Sarah as she is being carried away. More monsters fell down from the assault, some of them lying immobile in bloody heaps, other slowly getting back up.

"Lance Shock…Steady Discharging!" She inundates the thorns with a stream of lightning that she keeps firing, draining most of her energy reserves so she can sizzles their foes as much as possible!+
