The Type 97 Fubuki positions itself between the Tern and the Albatross as it raises, lifting up a shield to intercept the attack. But there's an extra surprise for whomever pilots the green tern... for the shield comes with reactive armor, which now explodes in their face!+

(9:40:13 AM): [Ren, Optimus, and Eva] The Green Tern fires a handful of head-mounted laser blasts at the Albatross, but when the Fubuki moves into position it changes tactics to try to strike through that instead! It doesn't go well though, bitin into the reactive armor before the blast knocks it back and Optimus's cannon fire forces it back further!

Between this and Shizuka's first attack it's looking pretty spent... but it helps keep the beamspam to a manageable level for Asagi to defend against. Freddy's Tern just uses its own energy barrier to repel those strikes though.

But Ren, in the meantime Maria's Tern suddenly swoops down from above, firing a slew of lasers at your Fubuki!

The beam strikes it, but the laser coating means it's just knocked back and burned somewhat. Better than being totaled!

And because the course of firing is suddenly freed up earlier too, that chest cannon blast is fired out, catching Shizuka by surprise and blasting the Green Tern backwards! Parts of it are blown away, the machine smoldering and looking in less-than great shape.

The shots from Walt's team strike the orange Tern... and there's also the co-op courtesy of Ironhide and Grimlock. Suddenly the machine's arms are destroyed... and Optimus is falling instead. There's a smoking, blackened spot on his chest... but that's all...
(11:20:39 AM): [Walt and Ren] And fortunately... Ren's healing comes just in the nick of time. A few more missiles strike the Genoaces, rocking them and in turn making Ren suddenly feel even more heat... but that's the worst of it!

(11:41:22 AM): [Optimus and Ren] And suddenly the Tern finds three angry Autobots in its path, taking the shots Freddy'd meant for Eva. Eva's shots begin hammering the region around him, the Autobots tearing into the Tern before it's forced to fall back with everything Freddy can get from the machine.
(11:41:48 AM): ... Not fast enough to keep it from getting disembowled though, with parts of it just pouring down to the ground now.
