Overman Zappa (17:05:35): Banjou, due to size, is traveling alongside in the DaiFighter.
Wyverncakes (17:05:47): The ship's now far outside of the Earth Sphere though, stationed along with countless others at the ESUN base in Ceres.
Wyverncakes (17:06:50): The Wulgaru are on the move again... unfortunately even though the various alien forces attacking Earth aren't friends with each other, sooner or later one of them has the chance to press forward all the same.
Wyverncakes (17:07:11): But that's why you're all here at Ceres, to help out in the upcoming defensive battle!

Even if it was a defensive battle and Earth had had to pull together to defend itself, it was still an incredible sight to watch. Even fighting each other and besieged like that, humanity's power was remarkable. Now, however, she was in her cockpit, ready for battle

tormterra (17:14:02): Kei fell silent as well. It sounded good, but they'd still only beaten the Wulgaru once and that was without this guy in charge. Hopefully it would all work out anyway

Once charged, our first shot will send the Wulgaru forces into disarray, enabling us to press forward with our counterattack. And once it is charged again, our forces will leave its cone of fire and we will eradicate the aliens with one, swift stro-"

frifreeman (17:15:05): Kakizaki grins. "The important thing? We beat the aliens and look cool doing it. That's all the plan I need to know!"
Wyverncakes (17:15:07): Bridge bunny: "Commander! The first defensive line is reporting that they're already under fire from the Wulgaru!"

Wyverncakes (17:15:23): And suddenly all of this man's confidence drains immediately into panic. "Whaaaaaat?!?"

Wyverncakes (17:20:49): And the superlaser fires out into the distance, far enough that you can't even see the Wulgaru forces yet! But what you DO see is the massive burst of energy released afterwards as the cannon strikes its targets!

Wyverncakes (17:22:27): No, the Wulgaru fleet is still advancing, with a number of ships at the front projecting some kind of barrier, as if they were the ones to stop the laser cold! A number look damaged -no doubt from the cannon- but the fleet is still nearly at full strength!
Wyverncakes (17:22:43): Komine: "The cannon... the cannon couldn't...! Aaaah... FIRE AGAIN!"

Kakizaki, use your missiles to try to pin the group down while Suruga picks off humanoid drones." Following the directions given, Tamaki hit the throttle crashing straight into the units preventing a group of Wulgaru who had moved ahead from getting cut off completely, using the sheer bulk of Rose-3 as her primary weapon. +

Meraxa (17:35:43): Ataru: ...Its like Izuru if he were rich... *Ataru mutters as he sets himself up, one arm locking into another. Time to see if he can snipe those carriers, so flat and oval-like!+

tengusaur (17:36:33): * Blue One rushes forward, charging past any humanoids escaping from Rose Three's assault and slashing at them with wide strikes, dual-wielding its katana and spear! +

Wyverncakes (17:38:59): [Kei/Tamaki and Asagi] Rose Three charges in, smashing through a group of drones that was just beginning to descend on a critically damaged warship. A number of them escape in time (and much more gracefully so than all of you previously) but Rose-3's form still pulverizes a number of them... and Blue One comes in behind to start cleaning up the stragglers... only for several of the carrier-like drones to suddenly release countless, even-smaller interceptors to attack the AHSBM instead!

tengusaur (17:41:42): * "Small caliber fire won't work on me!" Asagi sends Blue One into a spinning dodge to the side - and while he's evading, he draws the AHSMB's heavy machinegun, and sends a long burst towards the attacking tiny drones! +

VJockey (17:42:30): *Peola charges straight in, shotgun discharging shell after shell at the Wulgaru as she makes to get as close as she can to them!+

cubey@aol.pl (17:43:22): "It's these guys again!" *As he approaches rapidly, Izuru draws the chainsword - and it clashes right against the closest of the humanoid drones' bodies. After a wild swing, Red Five continues its charge, slashing through enemies as it goes.+
Wyverncakes (17:43:43): [Banjou] The size issue isn't that serious for the Wulgaru, unfortunately! They've already had a history of fighting the Giants and all... and your hammer smashes through two charging drones who were firing on Daitarn in spite of the danger! The towering Super Robot's not seriously damaged, but with their numbers and aggressiveness, things could get dicey if this drags on too long.

Wyverncakes (17:44:41): [Asagi] And thanks to Izuru's assistance your machinegun counterattack is sufficient to destroy that wave of interceptors!
frifreeman (17:44:56): Kakizaki: "Roger Ma'am!" From afar, Kakizaki fires his missiles to pin down the enemies as Kei ordered."+
griefgathering (17:46:22): "I will assist..." *Seta decides to add to the firepower here. Judgement draws one of its handguns - designed for longer range fire - and briefly charges it with lightning before firing a single, explosive bullet. It's not alone though, because there are six spinning electric swords flying at the enemies too!+
Wyverncakes (17:46:44): [Izuru] Your chainsword strikes down one of the humanoid drones and then another! But as you try to continue forward, suddenly Red Five inexplicably stops as a large asteroid crosses its path! Suddenly the answer becomes clear though, between the JURIA System's survival instincts and a massive beam blast shooting through the rock straight at you!

Wyverncakes (17:49:41): [Kakizaki] The Wulgaru attempt to intercept the VF's missiles, but the complex paths of the itano circuses are still something the Wulgaru aren't used to. A string of explosions flare up across the sky, causing more ship-drones to fall!

VJockey (17:50:07): "Magnetically WHAT?!"
Meraxa (17:50:18): Ataru: ...Shielded. You know, a barrier.
Wyverncakes (17:51:36): [Peola and Seta] One of the humanoid mechs charges at your oncoming Gespenst, arms crossed to weather the damage from your shotgun! Seta'sshot though breaks its guard and lets you finish it off, with several more ship-drones getting destroyed around it! But there's still a horde of Interceptors coming down on you now from another carrier, and from below yet another humanoid drone opening fire!

Wyverncakes (17:53:02): [Izuru] You put as much distance as you can between you and the beam. And whoever fired it sends off a few more just to try to take you down. Still, you escape intact... though unfortunately you seem to have gotten away from the battle as a whole!

VJockey (17:54:54): *Peola decides to throw down with the Humanoid, dashing towards it with the interceptors chasing her... what does she do? "JET MAGNUM!!!" Essentially punch the humanoid, fire off the plasma stakes and throw it at the pests chasing her!+

tormterra (17:55:07): Kei: "Be careful...Everyone, move to support Izuru as soon as you can do so without getting shot down."

Wyverncakes (17:55:45): One of the other carriers takes the oppotunity to try to bum-rush you at that very moment, interceptors launching! Since your main weapon doesn't work well on the barriers it's taking the opportunity now to finish you-
Wyverncakes (17:55:50): ???: "Tallyhooooooooo!"
Overman Zappa (17:56:03): *Having had enough spinning Banjou releases the hammer into the swarms of Walgaru and into infinite space, before slowing his spin and withdrawing a sword from his wrist. But even before swinging it, he begins releasing missiles from his waist. "Daitarn Missiles!" And aiming at no particular group of Walgaru. The missiles are bigger than the machines are. So is his sword!+
Wyverncakes (17:56:12): And suddenly a huge energy beam is fired off, tearing through the interceptors, along with a humanoid drone beyond them!
Meraxa (17:56:12): Ataru: ...Not THEM!

Wyverncakes (18:00:55): [Banjou] The missiles fire off into a crowd of humanoid Wulgaru, their interception fire detonating it prematurely but still destroying four of their number! From the smoke following the blast though, more charge at the Invincible Steelman though, claws unfurled and striking at the machine's face and neck!

Nothing compared to smashing your fist into the humanoid though, the energy causes fire to burst from holes in it! Throwing it up at the Interceptors also goes on to be a great way of getting them off your tail!

Wyverncakes (18:15:45): [Ataru/Tamaki] Unfortunately, not much they can do when they're still set to detonate on impact. The blasts rock Rose-3, sending it spiraling and Tamaki moaning out. Yeah, she's probably going to be dizzy from the way Rose-3 was knocked away. Fortunately those weren't your heavy-duty ordinance though otherwise that could've been rather ugly.

tormterra (18:16:09): * "Dobermen, the drone is distracted. I'm giving you the coordinates to move." While the team is obviously fighting themselves, they manage to create an opening for Randy to get a clear shot towards the back of the unit charging Asagi. +

Wyverncakes (18:17:14): [Asagi/Randy] The Drone just barely whiffs by you, its claws grazing the energy cannon! But that's the worst it does, because Blue One's sword runs through its frame and Randy's snipe-shot blows it apart thanks to it being kept in one spot!
VJockey (18:17:20): *Peola rushes in to keep the gap from closing, letting loose ALL of her split missiles at once before pushing some heavy evasive manuevers while using her shotgun! Hopefully it won't run out of ammo halfway. That would be embarassing.+

Wyverncakes (18:21:03): [Ataru] A good thing you did too! With everyone becoming so pre-occupied on rescuing Izuru, the heat's being taken off of the other Wulgaru attackers! Two-dozen Wulgaru humanoid drones and a number of carriers -with interceptors out and causing carnage- press forward, but Gold-4's assault makes this push costly as six of the humanoid drones and many more carriers are eradicated.

Either way Peola chucks the gun aside and draws out the assault blade, letting the chainsword's teeth roar to life as she grinned and charged right in!&

Interceptors are blown to smithereens left and right, the drones themselves trying to use their shields for protection... but there's only so much of an edge can be taken off of weaponized sunlight. That's another cluster of drones down!

frifreeman (18:37:34): Kakizaki: "Whoa whoa whoa..." With his speed, Kakizaki almost went past through the swarm of enemies that surrounds Izuru. He manages to turn his VF into battroid mode before smashing into a random humanoid drone. Well, at least he manages to stops himself.+

The giant AHSMB crashed into the Wulgaru lines surrounding the disarmed gespenst, knocking any that got in its way aside as it rolled out the cable for pulling out Peola. +

Following into the charge, Purple-2 showed its mobility, putting its computers to work on calculating enemy attacks an movements to let its gatlings aim in just the right spot, while Kei focused on avoiding any retaliatory attacks. +

But your own shots manage to catch it first, some being blocked but one making it through and knocking the machine back for a split second! Is this your opening?

Wyverncakes (19:08:28): [Izuru] The explosion clouds your field of view, but you still have a good sense of where the Wulgaru machine is and stab out at it... only for the machine to draw its other blade out in an instant and swing it up! It strikes your chainsword at a seemingly innocent spot... but almost immediately cracks begin to form along the length of the weapon and it suddenly breaks!
Wyverncakes (19:09:03): The blades slip past the Wulgaru machine, scarring its side but causing negligable damage, as the sword continues up, slashing across Red Five's chest!
Wyverncakes (19:09:18): The cockpit is torn open, and you can see the Wulgaru machine with your own eyes!
