Mission 030 - Through the Lightning

tengusaur (02:04:32): Recently, there was an attack on a remote ESUN lab. Unknown assailants have stolen prototypes of several kinds of weaponry and escaped.
tengusaur (02:05:13): The attack was swift and powerful, and they quickly disappeared into nothingness... But we managed to track them down regardless.
tengusaur (02:06:15): It appears they joined up with a convoy of smugglers, making its way through America. The convoy is transporting more artifacts, illegally obtained.
tengusaur (02:06:47): A Unity Group force was sent to intercept them.
tengusaur (02:06:51): And that group is you.
tengusaur (02:07:11): Swiftness is an important part of the operation, which is why the group is very small.

tengusaur (02:08:28): Currently, the group is making its way towards the rendezvous point. The terrain is nice here, with lots of green hills, many of them high, and canyons.

TC (02:10:35): Zero: "I don't know if we got the time for that." Zero is...still in human form just chilling on somebody's unit's shoulder. Got to conserve them Ultra energies.

TormTerra (02:12:46): Back in the cockpit for the first time in a while, Kei was admiring the terrain instead of worrying about the details of the mission. She'd had a bit of a break from piloting since that disastrous mission in La Gias, so she felt more relaxed about it too. "I'm not sure...It seems distant from everything."
tengusaur (02:13:07): Soon enough, you see the convoy in the distance!
tengusaur (02:13:30): A large group of various ships, most of them yellow or green and pretty flat in appearance (image incoming soon).
tengusaur (02:14:18): They are flying pretty high in the sky, at the level of the lower clouds... But most of you can fly, and those who can't should be able to take a jump on one of the ships from the higher hills.
tengusaur (02:14:27): And that's good news, because...
tengusaur (02:14:46): As soon as you get close enough, suddenly a bunch of beam shots is fired at you from the fleet's direction!

tengusaur (02:15:13): They;'re easy to dodge at this range, at least... But this shows they're aware of you!
TC (02:15:37): Zero: "Whoops, guess it's about show time."
tengusaur (02:15:48): And they don't want you to stop them! The convoy keeps on going at full speed, as it did, while its defenders keep shooting!
TormTerra (02:16:02): Kei: "They're not. I'll update you on what data I can on their fire, so keep moving to intercept them."

tengusaur (02:16:36): A few of the smaller ships, armed, are zooming around to defend the rest, while a group of autonomous chicken walker-like robots is standing on top of the other ships.

cubey@aol.pl (02:18:41): *Red Five's dual beam pistols are trying to shoot the cannonwalkers off the nearest airship with quick bursts, just as the AHSMB moves in closer. Izuru hopes for a peek through the windows.+
ZebulonCrispi (02:18:42): * Sefet breaks into a sprint. While it does, the four smaller swords all detach, two each launching like bullets towards a pair of Cannonwalkers. +
tengusaur (02:20:01): Suma's remote swords slash through two of the Cannonwalkers, exploding the robots! However, four more take aim at Sefet and start to rapidly shoot beam blasts at her!
tengusaur (02:20:23): To make it worse, the fleet is moving slightly faster than her, so if she keeps on the ground, it will leave her behind!

tengusaur (02:21:14): Izuru shoots down three Cannonwalkers one after another, their wrecks falling off the ship they used as a platform.

ZebulonCrispi (02:22:19): * Sefet dodges by jumping, but not to the side - instead, it jumps nearly straight up, aiming to land atop one of the ships! +
tengusaur (02:22:19): Red Five peeks inside one of the windows of the larger ships, and Izuru sees something moving inside...
tengusaur (02:22:32): And right after that, suddenly something breaks out from the inside!

tengusaur (02:23:04): It's a pair of huge beam claws, belonging to a very large robot! The robot that just ripped through the ship's wall!

tengusaur (02:24:31): Suma manages to avoid the shots by jumping straight up, and lands atop one of the ships! Fortunately not an armed one.
tengusaur (02:24:55): ???: "Fool! Why would we steal your inferior machines when we have our own, much better ones?"
tengusaur (02:25:26): One of the claws hacks into Red Five's shield for a moment before Izuru gets away... But that is already enough to drain the shield's energy in a noticable way!
TormTerra (02:25:43): Kei: "Possily. The ESUN isn't in the habit of telling us what to look for when they lose things..Or apparently not.

tengusaur (02:26:42): Suddenly you can see another, large blue ship, flying high above the convoy.
tengusaur (02:26:48): It's not a smuggler. It just arrived.

tengusaur (02:27:26): Hunter 2: "Thanks for the distraction! Now we can recover the Biometal for sure!"
TormTerra (02:27:31): * "Izuru, keep your distance from melee with the enemy and strike them at range. Their mobility is limited from being cramped together in the openings, so if you strike at them from the angles I'm transmitting you should be able to hit." +
TC (02:27:42): Zero: "Hoo boy and here I thought it'd just be small fry."

TC (02:28:27): *Zero leaps from Kei's unit and transforms mid air, landing on the ships in a size big enough to take on these fresh bigger goons. And proceeds to fling his sluggers at the Uncias.+
Drascin (02:28:47): ????: Don't mind me, guys I'm going ahead!
tengusaur (02:28:56): Hunter 2: "Huh? Ashe, wait!"
tengusaur (02:29:20): Hunter 1: "Leaving us behind again? She's always like this..."
Drascin (02:29:22): Ashe: Nope!
TormTerra (02:29:33): Kei: "You're intervening in an ESUN operation as well as walking into a battle...Are you sure you want to continue doing that?"
cubey@aol.pl (02:29:41): *Red Five rapidly changes attack vectors, Izuru following Kei's instructions. Each time it boosts to a new position, the AHSMB fires a new round of beams at the Tigris.+

TC (02:31:08): Zero: "I can dig it."
tengusaur (02:31:32): When Zero attacks the Uncias... Suddenly each of the machines raises a small pinpoint barrier for defense! His attack is mostly absorbed and only deals light damage to all four enemies...
TormTerra (02:32:02): Kei: "We heard you talk about using us as a distraction to steal something."
TC (02:32:21): Zero: "What the!?"
tengusaur (02:32:48): And in response, all of them raise handheld missile launchers and fire at him! To make it worse, when the missiles are close, they blow up prematurely into lots of shrapnel! (Zero react)
Drascin (02:32:59): *And with that, Ashe takes a running start from her ship and simply jumps into the air, freefalling through the convoy (whose defenses are thought for much bigger things) and landing atop the largest craft.
Ashe: And bingo. Going in, now!
And so she runs into the large ship, handgun at the ready&
tengusaur (02:33:52): Hunter 2: "We're not stealing anything. We're Legion Hunters! Recovering items the Raiders stole is our job!"
Drascin (02:34:28): Ashe: Yep! Legion hired us to get back a mysterious little piece of booty these guys took!
tengusaur (02:34:50): Izuru shoots at the Tigris from multiple directions... But the large mecha covers itself with its metal cape, a force field visible on its surface! The attacks don't do much to it!
TC (02:34:52): *Zero decides it best to leap backwards away from the rockets to give him better distance to work with while he controls the sluggers to come back around and slice them or drive them off course.+
TC (02:35:46): Zero: "What are you a pirate? Who says booty these days?"
tengusaur (02:36:04): Tigris: "Hmph. That's all you got, human?" Suddenly he opens the cloak, revealing four railguns unfolding from his armor! All of them fire simultaneously... And not just at Red Five!

tengusaur (02:36:50): (that was Tigris' pilot, to be precise. You don't know his name)
tengusaur (02:37:04): Ashe runs towards the largest ship, and is ready to reach its big hangar door... When suddenly, a large shadow looms over her, as something big emerges from behind the ship!

TormTerra (02:37:33): * Seeing the attack start, Kei not only started evasive maneuvers, using Purple-2's processing to help do so, while also diverting power to the shields and away from some of the less vital sensors. +
tengusaur (02:37:34): Dogu raises his hands maliciously, and fires two large beams at her from its eyes! (Ashe react/continue)
Drascin (02:37:44): Ashe: Oh boy. These guys have better defenses than we thought!
cubey@aol.pl (02:38:05): *Time to get out of here! Izuru sends Red Five flying low, swooping down under the fleet and the large enemies.+
TC (02:38:20): Zero: "Izuru you say that like I'm not right here."
tengusaur (02:39:08): Slicing through the missiles doesn't help much when they explode into sharp shrapnel flying everywhere, and some of it ricochets on Zero's armor, dealing light damage to it! But he dodges the rest, though not without difficulty.
cubey@aol.pl (02:39:32): Izuru: "Yes but that's different... and the hunters have a person running on the pirate ship! She'll get herself killed!"
Drascin (02:39:41): *And Ashe rolls to the side and darts for the giant with quick feet, grabbing one of the thing's arms and trampolining with a somersault as she fills the thing's eyes with bullets+
TC (02:39:50): Zero: "Nah, I'm sure she's fine."
tengusaur (02:39:53): Izuru manages to dodge the shots. One of them still manages to hit Kei, though, shaking Purple Two violently. The shields took quite a hit...
TC (02:40:26): Zero: "Seems like she knows what she's doing." he says while picking loose shrapnel out of his armor.
tengusaur (02:41:18): Ashe rolls away from Dogu's beams, and none of them manage to hit her, just scorch the floor under her feet! Her shots hit the giant robot's eyes repeatedly, and the right one blows up!
tengusaur (02:41:24): Dogu doesn't seem too happy.

tengusaur (02:41:43): Still... Those unknown mecha seem rather tough...

tengusaur (02:43:10): You can see Ashe fighting Dogu not so far away from here, if you take a position where none of the raider ships are in the way.
TC (02:43:26): Zero: "I dunno why bother jumping onto an airship like that if you are out of your league."
cubey@aol.pl (02:44:49): *Red Five does a loop under the fleet and moves up on the other side - a triple barreled chaingun in one hand, the sword gun in the other. It goes for a strafing run, covering the airships with a barrage of fire from above, with special attention given to the Uncia units.+
ZebulonCrispi (02:45:07): * Suma is half-heartedly looking for anything important-looking on the random ship she jumped on, but more importantly, look at all these new enemies! Sefet retrieves its four swords from earlier, but while they're coming back, it launches the two bigger ones as a pair of flying buzzsaws towards one of the Uncias. +

TormTerra (02:46:39): Kei delivered a very audible silence as she was about to speak up, then stopped thanks to the presence of someone proving that Izuru's hypothesis was entirely reasonable.
Drascin (02:47:08): Ashe seems, honestly, like she's having a lot of fun as she blows up the mech's eye

tengusaur (02:47:16): Izuru covers the Uncias with fire, causing actual damage to them - it seems there is a limit to how much their barriers can take!

tengusaur (02:47:51): But the Pardalises notice him, aim very large, handheld railguns, and fire two very fast shots at Red Five! (react)
tengusaur (02:48:45): Suma's swords cut into one of the Uncias, previously damaged by Zero and then Izuru, and sever its limbs. Having no arms, the mech just... Jumps off and disappears from sight, blocked by the ships!
frifreeman (02:49:06): Out of nowhere, a massive projectile flies at speed toward one of the Pardalis!+
tengusaur (02:49:48): Trying to follow might not be a good idea though, because the Tigris suddenly rushes in at a ridiculous speed, revealing the huge beam claws on its hands again, and tries to rend Sefet apart! (react)
tengusaur (02:50:15): ???: "Compared to the power of C.L.A.W., you are nothing!"
tengusaur (02:50:27): ???: "Wait... That attack!"
tengusaur (02:51:29): The Pardalis is hit by the massive shot, which rends large a hole in its body! The mech takes a wobbly step to the side and falls off the ship it was standing on.

tengusaur (02:55:20): One of the railgun shots smashes into Izuru's shield - Red Five is pushed back in mid-air, but the armor damage is small. The other shot, he doesn't have to worry about.
VJockey (02:56:55): *There's the sound of a ferocious roar coming from below. Engines. Powerful ones. An equally large machine to the ones you are fighting tears upwards before it makes a hard landing on one of the airships. However it seems that the roar wasn't coming from its boosters, rather the truly gigantic chainsaw that was mounted on one of its arms! It takes a MASSIVE swing at the Uncias!+

tengusaur (02:58:48): The large machine cleaves right through one of the Ungias, separating its lower part from the upper! The upper half tries to crawl around, but it's pretty much useless now.

tengusaur (02:59:47): Noticing this new threat incoming, half a dozen Cannonwalkers fires rapid fire energy blasts at it! Two airships fly past, shooting beams and missiles as cover fire!

cubey@aol.pl (03:01:15): *As far as battlecries go this one was rather weak - but it's accompanied by Red Five charging at the cannonwalkers. With mighty kicks, two of them are punted towards the airships, serving as a distraction.+
TormTerra (03:01:38): * "Newcomers...Focus on the Tigris to pin it down, Izuru, use the opening of it being distracted to take down the suppression fire from the small units. They might be the weakest, but they can still kill us."

Drascin (03:03:10): *Completing the dodge somersault, Ashe lands on the Dogu's wrist. Cocking her head, she waits for it... and when Dogu continues attacking she jumps, touching a had to the robot's head and spinning on it like a gymnast before propelling herself away, and shooting her handgun right into the eye holes of the thing with her usual precision+
tengusaur (03:03:29): Izuru kicks two of the cannonwalkers towards the airships, and they explode on their surface, throwing their aim way off! One of the ships is heavily damage, and both of them turn around and retreat for a second strike.
Drascin (03:04:39): Ashe: Alle-hop!
tengusaur (03:05:00): Zero's shot hits one of the Uncias, burning its surface severely! The machine drops collapses, now useless.
VJockey (03:05:23): "Understood...I look forward to the chance to test my mettle against my Mentor."

tengusaur (03:06:04): However, the other Uncia turns towards the Ultraman and it turns out it's equipped with beam claws as well, although just on one arm, as it jumps towards him and tries to rend him! The Pardalis... Does the same, from the back! (react)

Drascin (03:07:10): Ashe: That sounds like what someone evil would say, though.
frifreeman (03:07:11): Skald! Maintain the barrier! I'll fire the defensive guns!
VJockey (03:07:29): "Understood! Maintaining power flow!"
TormTerra (03:07:40): Kei: "Human? Who are you people?"
frifreeman (03:07:44): And with that, some gatling guns whirrs from the large robot's shoulder and fires at the incoming missiles+

TC (03:07:59): *Zero calls back his Sluggers which had still be free flying to grab them in his hands and spin to meet his two foes in a lock of blades- at least long enough to kick one off of him so he can better pull out of the stick situation.+
tengusaur (03:08:34): Between the interception fire and the hard energy shield, not to mention Izuru's help, the attack didn't do much.

TC (03:09:15): Zero: "Maybe they're just sentient giant robots, that's also a thing we meet."

tengusaur (03:09:26): Seeing Ashe jump so close, Dogu tries to smash her with its fists... But it's too slow, and she pumps its head full of shots! The other eye explodes, and then the thing's head, and then the whole robot!
VJockey (03:09:50): *With that out of the way... the newcomer unleashes several missiles at the Tigris!+

Drascin (03:10:22): Ashe sticks the landing and blows her gun, not seeming particularly bothered about jus having taken out a giant robot with a handgun
Drascin (03:10:32): Ashe: Well, that was fun. Now let's get that booty before someone makes off with it!
tengusaur (03:10:38): Zero can feel the energy blades burning slowly against his defense... But he manages to kick one of the attackers away, and escape from this blade lock before any of them could rip him apart!
Drascin (03:10:59): And so she runs into the ship, shooting the security systems without stopping
Drascin (03:11:27): Ashe: By the way, with all this excitement I think I never introduced myself! Name's Ashe! The best Hunter Legion has!Nice to meet you guys!
TC (03:11:51): Zero slaps his sluggers back onto his head as he escapes. "As well, nice to meet someone else so cool at such a tiny size."
tengusaur (03:11:55): Tigris cuts one of the incoming missiles with its beam claw, and blocks the rest with its armored cloak. Overall, it did some light damage... But not much.
TormTerra (03:12:24): Kei: "I can still hear you and track you, we'll talk about what you're looking for after the battle."
Drascin (03:12:27): Ashe: Tiny?! What srt of thing is that to say to a girl, mister? You're lucky I'm busy!

tengusaur (03:41:29): Suddenly the Cankerfly is flying over Red Five, dropping ice bombs on Izuru's head! Yes, these bombs explode into cold! (react)
frifreeman (03:41:42): With that, The smilodon fires a barrage of small missiles toward Tigris, a rain of explosives!

tengusaur (03:45:36): Not being able to use his cloak when attacked so close, Socrates starts to quickly dash to the side, to avoid at least some of these attacks, and uses an energy barrier to weaken the impact of the rest - but the blades still cut into his machine and missiles explode on its surface, dealing moderate damage to it. In response, he swings the beam claws once, to push Sefet away - and then fires a hail of quick and powerful shots from the four railguns! (Suma, Smilodon team - react)

Drascin (03:47:32): Ashe: Well, then, let's give these new powers a run!
VJockey (03:47:43): *There's a loud whirr from the Smildon's arms as armor shifts and changes, making them more forward heavy... as for why... they just transformed into a set of PILE BUNKER CLAWS! The Smildon rushes forward at the Tigris to use them at their most lethal capacity!+

ZebulonCrispi (03:48:31): * Sefet pushes FORWARDS, tanking railgun shots so long as they aren't to the torso, in order to keep up the offensive, concentrating all six blades together to strike at once! +
TC (03:49:04): *Zero pursues the Paradalis that had gotten on his ass before, rushing forward with his arms out to grab hold of it.&
tengusaur (03:49:47): Both Sefet and Smilodon take non-negligible damage from the shots smashing into their armor - at least the latter has the energy shield to soften the blow, but this is still starting to look heavy...
Drascin (03:49:51): *Ashe zooms forward at ridiculous speed, shooting a laser that misses completely... and then slides up a wall while the laser bounces off the opposite wall like a mirror, heading for Buckfire's back as Ashe spams her cannons right at his face while she goes up+
TormTerra (03:50:29): * "Ashe...You've just gotten superpowers and don't know them too well, yet. Focus on the smaller enemies to get used to them and draw the heat off Izuru. Izuru, once the heat is off you, take to flight again and try to hit the ship with melee attacks. It shouldn't be equipped to handle enemies too close to it." +

tengusaur (03:53:59): Buckfire tries to dodge the first few shots, but the laser hits him in the back, and then the rest of the bullets him him as well while he's staggered! He doesn't seem to be too fast...

TC (03:54:10): *Zero shifts his body to avoid the claws and puts his hands in very notable spots- the back of it's neck and it's hip fin things. Zero then shifts and with all his strength moves and performs a Judo throw on the robot to rocket it's body into one of the ships.+
cubey@aol.pl (03:54:40): *Red Five zooms up close to the Cankerfly, and flanks it while continuing to stab and slash with the forearm blades. Then Izuru takes a wild swing from above the head - both weapons go down to impale the ice bombing ship.+

tengusaur (03:56:27): Zero is only scratched by one of the claws... And then he has his opponent, and throws him towards one of the shark-like ships! The mech crashes into it and both machines disappear overboard.

Drascin (03:57:16): *Well, the kid in the red mech needed some backup, and she has a large murderous about to launch itself robot gunning for her. What to do, then?
tengusaur (03:58:18): Izuru cuts into the Cankerfly, causing visible damage to its armor - this ship doesn't seem to be too good at maneuvering! But it has friends... The red shark-like ships are rushing in, firing laser beams at him! (react)
Drascin (03:58:21): Well, she moves to the side a bit, waits for Buckfire to launch... and then somersaults right over him as he fires himself like a bullet, leaving him to slam himself against the Galleons if he can't hit the braks in time!+

tengusaur (03:59:11): Three of the shark-lookalikes are heading towards Purple Two, opening their mouths and trying to gnaw onto it! With their jaws open, you can see the Galleons controlling them from inside! (react)
TormTerra (04:00:08): * Kei quickly backpedaled, hoping that her speed was high enough to keep her from becoming shark chow. As she did so, she aimed her defensive vulcans towards the cockpits hoping to take out the pilots before the ships caught up. +
cubey@aol.pl (04:00:48): *Red Five spins, changing direction towards the shark ships! Izuru focuses really hard for a second, accelerating and thrusting in various directions to try to evade the blasts - and when he gets close, he slashes the ships as he passes by each and every one of them!+
tengusaur (04:01:28): Ashe dodges swiftly, avoiding the attack - but it's close, she can feel the intense fire emanating from the kick! Still, Buckfire just flies past without hitting her, and crashes into a group of 5 or 6 Galleons instead, melting them.
tengusaur (04:02:39): Kei manages to shoot at two of the pilots, destroying them and causing their ships to lose control and fly off who knows where... But the third one manages to reach its target, and starts gnawing onto Purple Two's shoulder!
Drascin (04:02:53): Ashe lands and does a pose like a bullfighter with a grin. Clearly enjoying her new powers and goading this idiot for another ill-conceived attack

tengusaur (04:06:37): That's not a very gentle way to get something off your ally/love interest, but it works. Izuru smashes the two shark ships one into another, and the second one releases its grip, and both of them fall to the ground, ruined!
VJockey (04:06:49): *The Smildon backs off momentarily... as to why... well. That becomes apparent as it switches modes from the bipedal close combat monster into a quadruped with a humongous gun!&

TormTerra (04:07:13): For her part, Kei was trying to hold on, moving to try and shoot the shark ship with her electrified spikes in the hope of dislodging it when it was suddenly struck and she was knocked about by the violent dislodging. "...Be more careful." Still, she was free, at least
tengusaur (04:07:22): But then, Red Five is targetted by a whole hail of shots. All the Hunter Galleons are firing at it from their hand guns, sending lots and lots of small blasts! (react)
frifreeman (04:08:33): Archie: "Please sir, for all the respect I have for you. Stop all this madness!" Smilodon jumps away from Tigris, and its legs split apart. It braces itself, then it swings the massive gun on its left arm toward the Tigris, and fires its massive railgun toward it.

tengusaur (04:11:00): Which lets Archibald take the perfect shot! The attack smashes into Tigris deeply, leaving a visible hole in the large mech's armor!

VJockey (04:20:46): *Those bombs are going to have a lot of flak headed their way in large clouds!+
tengusaur (04:21:38): Thanks to the flak shooting down most of the bombs, both Suma and Smilodon's pilots can get away from the attack safely! Unfortunately, the Cankerfly is free to do whatever it wants now...
tengusaur (04:22:46): Which means that, after Zero's beam burns two of the shark-like ships pretty much into nothing, he finds himself the target of a large amount of ice bombs dropped down from above by the Cankerfly! (react)
Drascin (04:23:59): *And so, while Ashe is running towards the edge of the ship, Buckfire throws his blades. Seeing this, she speeds up, and activates her lock-on before throwing out two lightning bolts at the spinning blades, throwing their spin and trajectory off. Then, not losing momentum, she spins on herself and, since she's got the lightning on anyway, might as well give Buckfire a dose in those lightning rod antlers of his!+

TC (04:25:25): *Zero moves to jump out of the line of the path of bombs that Cankerfly drops, also moving the streak of the green laser to try and cut them down.+
tengusaur (04:25:53): The blades are completely deflected off their trajectory by both the cables and lightning bolts flying in their direction, and Kei is safe. Furthermore, it seems that Ashe hit Buckfire's weak point, because he's standing there twitching while electricity crawls over his body, not being able to move for a few seconds!
tengusaur (04:26:04): Buckfire: "Uuu...Uwagh..."
tengusaur (04:26:50): This would be a good time to attack him... But suddenly, a whole lot of assault Galleons is rushing towards Ashe, swinging their large blades with aggressive and quick attacks! (react)
Drascin (04:27:21): Ashe: Hey! Get off!
Model A: Personal space!
tengusaur (04:27:38): The bombs are shot down before they reach the ground, and a bunch of snow-like frost falls on Zero instead. It's cold, unpleasantly so, but harmless.

tengusaur (04:30:16): Well, that's one way to escape from a bunch of melee-only mooks. One of the overeager Galleons even tries to follow and falls down to its doom.
tengusaur (04:31:20): Izuru's beam hits straight the middle of the Cankerfly... and pierces right through it! The bomber machine explodes!

TormTerra (04:33:55): * Seeing that Ashe had gathered the small melee robots as well, Kei continued with her previous plan of firing into the mob instead of trying to order others around. It looked like the battle was mostly done and more firepower seemed like the safest option to end it quickly. +
ZebulonCrispi (04:34:30): * Suma will leave the other bosses to the rest of the team, she's had her fun! Instead, she jumps into the midst of the Galleons and goes to town with a claymore in one hand a cleaver in the other, hacking off limbs and heads wherever she can. +
tengusaur (04:35:10): Between Kei's gatling fire and Suma slashing around willy-nilly, all of the Galleons are pretty much done for now!
tengusaur (04:35:16): But complications arise.
tengusaur (04:35:44): The complications take the form of the last two remaining Mechaniloids rushing at them, trying to chomp their mecha again. One each.
tengusaur (04:35:55): The one Ashe is sitting on is targetting Kei.

VJockey (04:37:20): *Missiles launch towards the Galleons, streaking towards them before they shower them with shrapnel and fire!+
TormTerra (04:37:28): * Given that it had worked the last time, Kei immediately spun her gatlings around on the outer ring of Purple-2 to fire into the cockpit to try to repeat taking it down before she caught her. That didn't mean she gave up on other things as well, making sure her shield was strong and that she was moving backwards, away from it as quickly as she could. +
tengusaur (04:37:45): (all Galleons are dead, but there are still the shark-ships)
Drascin (04:39:43): *Well, now Ashe is out of range for a while. A normal person would probably just keep sniping from forever away ad see what happens. But Ashe is not a normal person. So instead asthe ship turns to go for Kei, she's going to make use of that new Mega Man strength of her to grab the rudder fin of the mechaniloid ship and force it to turn - until it heads straight back for where Ashe came from, ie, the top of the ship where Buckfire is still, before jumping and filling Buckfire with energy shots.+
Drascin (04:39:44): Ashe: Surprise!
Drascin (04:40:17): Model A: Why did I have to get partnered with a suicidal girl?!
tengusaur (04:40:55): Kei shoots right into the cockpit of the shark-ship, destroying the piloting Galleon. This means Ashe's suicidal charge can be made easier!
tengusaur (04:41:37): She peppers Buckfire with shots, wearing down his armor, and then the shark ship smashes right into him, also leaving a hole in the transport ship's deck!
tengusaur (04:41:59): For a moment, nothing happens...
tengusaur (04:42:24): Then, suddenly, an intense flame burns through the side of the Mechaniloid ship.
tengusaur (04:42:34): It's Buckfire, wreathed in flames. He's both damaged, and angry.
ZebulonCrispi (04:42:38): * If that support doesn't help, then Sefet will defend by jamming four swords into the mouth of the incoming shark. +
tengusaur (04:42:46): Buckfire: "Enough! You die now!"
tengusaur (04:43:09): He rushes forward in a fiery charge at Ashe, trying to gore her with his horns! (react/actually take your action)
Drascin (04:43:50): Ashe: You just don't know when to give up, do you?!
tengusaur (04:44:12): Between Suma blocking and skewering the shark's mouth with her swords, and Skald firing missiles at all the enemies that still move... Pretty much only Buckfire is left now!

Drascin (04:45:46): *Seeing the horns coming, Ashe reacts on instinct, jumping, turning on herself, grabbing one of the burning horns with one hand (that's going to smart later) and throwing herself up from there as she lasers Buckfire on the back of the head+
tengusaur (04:47:25): Well, Ashe is now feeling that heat first-hand (literally), as it starts to burn through her arm armor! But not for long, because she jumps over the charging gazelle robot and fires a powerful laser at him, blasting his head with great force!
tengusaur (04:47:42): Buckfire: "Why... I don't... Understand..."
tengusaur (04:47:50): And then his whole body explodes.
tengusaur (04:48:05): Explodes into light.
ZebulonCrispi (04:48:10): Suma: "Well done!"
Drascin (04:48:14): Ashe: ...ow. Okay, that stunt hurt.
TC (04:48:28): Zero: "That was pretty sweet."
Drascin (04:48:35): Model A: Want to see something cool?
Ashe: Uh?
TormTerra (04:48:42): Kei: "Why would he do something like that?"
ZebulonCrispi (04:49:18): Suma: "Warrior's pride? Fear of returning in defeat?"
