tengusaur (02:20:40): There is a UN Spacy base on Mars, one that was destroyed when the alien giants attacked. Nobody survived, unfortunately... But the giants didn't pilfer anything, so supplies might still be there.

tengusaur (02:21:15): The location of the base was where the Meganoid Death Battle was seen heading last time.
tengusaur (02:21:26): The one that kidnapped a lot of people from various space ships... And Beauty, too.
tengusaur (02:21:51): The Macross is heading towards the base now. You can already see it in the distance, a grey spot among the red rocks.

peter kampschroeder (02:23:01): Gloval and most of the bridge bunnies are going about their business normally, while Misa is busy getting ready to help raid the supplies with the other soldiers. Maybe she can sneak away, see if Riber...

Overman Zappa (02:26:56): "Death Battle." Banjou is silently fuming and simply corrects Izuru on his termonology.

tengusaur (02:28:49): Soon, you can see the base much better. It is a rather large installation, bigger than the Macross itself, located in a rocky but wide canyon, with lots of place for the ship to land nearby.
tengusaur (02:29:00): It looks like some of the buildings were heavily damaged during bombardment...
tengusaur (02:29:06): But others seem to be mostly whole.

tengusaur (02:40:30): The Macross lands on the ground, and a bunch of VFs and Destroids moves out to bring the supplies from the base.

tengusaur (02:40:48): Your radars ping something in a near distance.
Meraxa (02:41:10): Ataru: ...Hm? Picking something up...
tengusaur (02:41:13): It couldn't be picked up before because it was too close to some of the installations, but now it's taking off and slowly moving away...

Overman Zappa (02:50:54): *Banjou does have civvies to take into account so for the moment, he simply draws his sword from his wrist, energy forming a solid blade that he swings at the dinosaurs... carefully!+
tengusaur (02:51:59): Three dinosaurs are cut with the blade and blow up at once! But four more are now surrounding Daitarn and brandishing fly swatters and nail boards aggressively. Then, they start to smack it with their weapons, over and over! (react)
frifreeman (02:52:19): Kakizaki: "Dinosaurs don't have guns, right? We're in advantage!" Kakizaki aims at the pterosaurs and fires his gunpod at them from a distance.
peter kampschroeder (02:52:26): *Gloval: "Dinosaurs or no...we have a job to do." There's the sound of sniggering from Kim. "All hands! Engage the enemy!" The Scramble call goes out, and soon Ghosts, Valkyries, and even Destroids with their little gun-arms are opening fire on the dinosaurs.+
peter kampschroeder (02:53:23): battle cries like "Go back to the stone age where you belong!" and "Why dinosaurs?!" fill the radio chatter.
tengusaur (02:53:37): Kakizaki shoots down two Pterosaurs, which explode! But two more of them suddenly start to spin around like big razor disks and fly towards his VF! (react)

tengusaur (02:55:00): The barrage of Macross's defenders blows up two of the land-bound dinosaurs and one flier. In response, all of the remaining ones not busy with attacking are now rushing towards the ship! (react)
tengusaur (02:55:27): Banjou swats the attackers away before they can do much to Daitarn. The most he receives are scratches.

Ginkan SK (02:56:06): Russel has been here all along bloody animation errors. "...Dinosaurs? Really?" Damn it where is the Getter Team? Well time to act his machine powers up and the two large beam canons are starting to charge on the back of his machine. Those can't come into play yet, but he does bring the gatling guns into the arms into play he takes bead on the dinos opening fire. Sending a hail of soild slugs at them+

frifreeman (02:56:54): Kakizak does a barrel roll at the last moment to evade the incoming disks.+
peter kampschroeder (02:57:40): *Gloval: "Return fire! Claudia, have the crew rush that supplies job and prepare for takeoff!" As the pinpoint barrier system goes to work, the Macross's escorts respond to the charging dinosaurs by...shooting them. Shooting them a lot.+
cubey@aol.pl (02:58:21): *Izuru goes for a strafing run! Red Five flies above the assaulting dinosaurs, shooting at them with both of its beam pistols as it goes by. There'd be a swarm of shells going down, but beam weapons.+
tengusaur (02:58:30): Russel shoots down two of the dinosaurs, and Macross's defenders another one! And yes, they do all explode. The pinpoint barrier causes some of the dinosaurs to bonk off.
tengusaur (02:59:00): But now, a large stegosaurus grabs its tail, forming a wheel, and zooms towards the Gespenst, riding on the ground! (Russel react)

tengusaur (02:59:39): Kakizaki manages to escape the incoming spinning pterosaurs. But it was close...

Ginkan SK (02:59:47): Russel's machine moves to leap clear while firing off a quick not very well aimed burst at the dinosaur wheel of doom.+

Overman Zappa (03:00:16): *Banjou snatches up the Stegosaurus by it's back plates and starts to squeeze, crushing it in it's grip best as it can+
frifreeman (03:00:17): Kakizaki: "It'd be so embarassing if I got hit by spinning dinosaurs when I'm in a plane."
tengusaur (03:00:25): One of the pterosaurs, and another land dinosaur, are riddled with holes by Izuru's shots!

tengusaur (03:01:06): Russel manages to escape the attacking dinosaur just in tome for Banjou to grab it and start squishing!
tengusaur (03:01:23): The stegosaur is crushed and blows up in Daitarn's arms, causing very minor damage to its armor,.
tengusaur (03:01:49): But now, two pterosaurs (the last dinosaurs remaining, in fact) fly over Red Five and drop rocks at it from high above! (react)

Overman Zappa (03:03:55): *And so, Banjou makes a move against teh Death Battle, getting right up against it, so much that he places his free hand upon one of it's wings to stop it from going much faster, if anywhere at all!
tengusaur (03:10:58): Banjou grabs onto Death Battle's wings, holding the giant battleship and slowing its escape down considerably! But then, suddenly, a window in its side opens, revealing a look at the ship's deck! Even if it's just behind a glass, you can clearly see a person standing there, tied in chains...

tengusaur (03:11:07): Beauty: "Banjou!"
tengusaur (03:11:23): And at the same moment, two armed Meganoids escort another person inside the room!
tengusaur (03:11:45): An older-looking, fat man with moustache, who Banjou might recognize...
tengusaur (03:11:54): Beauty: "Ah! Father?!"
Overman Zappa (03:12:06): If it were safe, Banjou would smash the glass and be half-done with the problem... "Mister Tachibana?"
tengusaur (03:12:33): Beauty's father: "Banjou! They are keeping all the people kidnapped from all the ships on this Death Battle!"
tengusaur (03:13:01): Beauty's father: "If it was just me, I'd tell you not to care about my safety... But you must think about the hostages!"
tengusaur (03:13:15): ???: "That's right! Listen to this old fart!"

tengusaur (03:13:57): ???: "I am commander Nendol, the captain of this ship! Banjou Haran... If you don't want anything to happen to any of the hostages, leave Daitarn and come here!"
tengusaur (03:14:20): Nendol: "And don't have any funny ideas... I'm talking to your friends as well!"

tengusaur (03:15:27): Nendol can be seen inside the ship as well, but only as an armored figure looming in darkness.
Overman Zappa (03:17:49): Banjou is silent for a while but... eventually Daitarn's mouth opens wide and out steps Banjou. Armed with a gun, mind you, but he steps out, leaving Daitarn 3 hovering on autopilot... "This is what you wanted...

tengusaur (03:20:52): A passage opens for Banjou, letting him step on the deck of the ship. He can reach both of the hostages... And Nendol.
tengusaur (03:21:16): Beauty: "Banjou! You came!" She starts running towards him...
tengusaur (03:21:37): Nendol's figure still lurks in the darkness. And suddenly, it raises an arm, as if ready to do something!
Overman Zappa (03:21:54): First, ensuring the two hostages at hand. "And everyone else. Release them!"
tengusaur (03:22:24): Nendol: "Or else what? You'll shoot me?"
Overman Zappa (03:23:25): Banjou: "Ultimately, yes. " Here, have a gun pointed at yer face.
tengusaur (03:24:12): Suddenly... Beauty's father hits Banjou in the back of his head with a double-fisted strike from the back!
tengusaur (03:24:41): And Nendol in the darkness... Falls apart! It was just an empty suit of armor!
Overman Zappa (03:24:53): The shock makes Banjou make one of the most comical faces you'd only see in ye old cartoons of the 70's... ...Oh wait...
tengusaur (03:24:58): Beauty: "Dad?! Ah...!" Suddenly chains emerge from the floor, binding her and Banjou!
tengusaur (03:25:21): Beauty's dad moves a hand over his face, causing it to change! He's some kind of green-faced humanoid!
tengusaur (03:25:42): Nendol: "Ha ha! You have fallen for my trick, you fool! Unfortunately for you, I am a master of disguise."
tengusaur (03:26:30): Nendol: "Soldiers, grab them! And in the meantime I'll do what I wanted and take over the Daitarn." He starts running towards the exit from the Death Battle!
tengusaur (03:26:34): And at the same time...
tengusaur (03:26:42): An explosion can be heard in the distance.
Overman Zappa (03:26:43): Banjou: "Damn you! But a clever disguise all the same. At least I'll give you some credit...

tengusaur (03:29:20): Taking advantage of the incoming massive enemy forces, Nendol jumps out of Death Battle's mouth and flies into Daitarn!
tengusaur (03:29:37): Daitarn starts moving... And it doesn't seem to be friendly.

peter kampschroeder (03:29:58): Gloval: "Claudia! Get those supplies onboard and prepare to launch!" "Yes, sir!" The soldiers outside are gonna head back inside the ship, while the macross's engines fire up.

peter kampschroeder (03:31:40): *Claudia: "Shoot it down if you have to! Valkyrie squads, Destroid squads, engage the Zentraedi!" The mook enemies are met with a humongous volley of missiles and lasers, as the Macross starts to take off.+

tengusaur (03:32:03): The Pterosaurs are all cut apart. But the Zentraedi army is approaching really quickly!

peter kampschroeder (03:32:14): Gloval: "All forces, launch! No point holding anything back now..."

tengusaur (03:33:03): Destroids blow up at least a dozen of the attacking Regults. But...
tengusaur (03:33:25): As soon as the Macross starts taking off, suddenly weird devices, hidden among the ruins of the base, activate!
tengusaur (03:33:42): Powerful gravitational forces appear, pulling the Macross towards the ground!
tengusaur (03:33:46): The ship cannot take off!
tengusaur (03:34:10): And now it and its defenders find themselves the target of a whole lot of heavy missiles fired by the specialized Regults! (react)
frifreeman (03:34:22): Kakizaki: " Aww, What's going on? Don't tell me it's because this is a cheap refurbished secondhand ship again."

peter kampschroeder (03:35:54): *The Macross's defenders go to work, offering up point-defence fire and swing'in those pinpoint barriers around as best they can.+
cubey@aol.pl (03:36:12): *Red Five jumps in front of the barrage and extends both of its arms, each generating an energy barrier. Izuru tries to use those to block as many missiles as possible.+
frifreeman (03:36:56): Kakizaki : "That Glaug... So annoying Fumb... I mean, Vermillion Three launching!" Kakizaki fires up his throttle and head toward the Glaug, firing dozens of missiles before heading closer and firing his gunpod at it.+
tengusaur (03:37:09): The combined defense seems to work well, protecting both Macross and its escort units... But Red Five's shield is weakened pretty badly. The Macross' generators also seem to be getting a bit critical.
peter kampschroeder (03:39:08): Gloval: Grr...Shammy! That anomaly, how deep is its origin?" "Th-three hundred meters, sir! There's no way we can shoot it from here!"
tengusaur (03:39:20): The Glaug looks up, sees Kakizaki incoming, and dodges, using allies as cover! His attacks shoot down four Regults instead... Covered by their explosions, the Glaug emerges from the smoke, rushing in and quickly shooting all of its arm-mounted impact cannons at Kakizaki! (react)

tengusaur (03:42:21): He approaches her, only to get kicked off his legs.

tengusaur (03:42:53): Meganoid 3: "Damnit! Who do you think you are?" He pulls out a drill-looking device! "Let's turn her here and now, on the spot!"
tengusaur (03:42:58): Meganoid 4: "Good idea!"
tengusaur (03:43:16): The whole bunch of them starts to circle around both Beauty and Banjou...

Overman Zappa (03:44:41): As the Meganoids approach Beauty, he only gets more and more frustrated with them. After a mighty roar and a yank on the chains, he straight up BREAKS them. Not just one link, but several links snap and shatter. "You stay away from her!" And a nice good punch to the face for that Meganoid!
VJockey (03:44:58): *The Glaug would find several very large rounds fired at it, hopefully to give Kakizaki a little more breathing room as a Gespenst makes its way from the Macross!+

He brings his targetin ystem online he takes aim and yells out. "TWIN BEAM CANON! FIRE!!" The vocal command kicks in and away goes the beam blast bigger than before and longer too. He contiunes hte raking action trying to thin the enemy out.+
tengusaur (04:14:22): Ataru shoots down a whole bunch of missile Regults (9 to be precise), one by one, which lets Izuru escape their explosions easier. Still, Red Five is shaken a bit as missiles blow up in the air right behind it!

The Glaug turns around quickly, piercing the Regult kicked in its way with its lasers and causing it to explode, and then jumps away. Izuru's slice only leaves a nick on one of its limbs

tengusaur (05:03:23): Russel provides cover fire for all the escaping VFs, creating lots of explosions all over the battlefield! It's hard to say how many Regults are caught up within them, but it does help to keep them away, that is for sure.
tengusaur (05:04:03): The Glaug is pressed by Izuru's all-out attack! It is forced to move as he wants it to, without having enough time to counterattack!
tengusaur (05:04:19): And then Ataru fires a single shot at it, piercing through it and creating a large explosion!

tengusaur (05:04:35): You can see a Zentraedi soldier in a space suit, tumbling out of that explosion.
tengusaur (05:04:50): A few more Regults move in, firing at you! Better retreat!
tengusaur (05:04:53): And...
tengusaur (05:05:04): At this moment, the generator of the base explodes violently!
