As soon as she's close to one of the enemies, Hetepheres suddenly pulls out four khopeshes - one for each hand of her mecha - and swings them at the machine, trying to catch them with the other side of the hook-like blades and throw it at another enemy! Then she charges forward and slashes several times with all swords, hopefully at both enemies! +

(8:08:15 PM): [Hetepheres] The Scaraber's nothing quite like the merc's familiar with, and the sudden charge has the TSF responding with a combat knife! Not much compared to the Scaraber's four swords though, and especially not blades like that which leave it smashed into another machine and leave it to be carved to bits... though its friend manages to escape with little more than a smashed-up frame.

(8:10:12 PM): [Izuru and Leos] The Pale Rider's interception fire makes it seem like 4th of July right in front of you! And only one week late for all the festivities! This helps make Izuru's charge and your own all the easier, and with the sudden loss of manpower they've already faced in addition to woahgod four-armed bugbot, you make your way through with a clear route to the base!

Their more advanced units easily able to outmanuever the aging units and aim for precision shots to shoot down their foes. Yuuya takes the advantage his TSF has in melee to be particularly brutal for any F-15s who wander too close to his unit.+

(8:14:56 PM): [Argos team] The technological gap between the TSFs is plain to see as the defending mercenaries -now down several machines and with their line broken- are forced to begin falling back and open fire as best they can. Not much good is done though as two more machines are done away with...
(8:16:23 PM): [Willis] With another one getting smashed hard enough to send it plummeting into the sea! Less than half of the initial attack team remains in pristine order and they do what they can to retreat back to their comrades, giving everyone the chance to finally get to the battlefield around the PROGTECH base!

Strehland and the Scaraber though, are still going to be wracked by the splash damage from the blasts, the machines buffeted and knocked around... though fortunately okay, to an extent!

Systems are dying and your engines are overheating, but finally... for some reason... the strain seems to be lessening. And at least one of the rig's platforms is now noticeably NOT tipping over now.

You know Yuuya, you're starting to get really good at this "melee fighting with a TSF" thing. The Mega Chest Beam is also something it has to worry about, but Kakizaki's gunpod fire forces it to dodge up and AWAY from the water as well, and the awkward evasion leaves it spinning clumsily!
