Wyverncakes (01:40:41): The Shaft and its creations are also coming up plenty fast, and off in the distance you can see signs of battles going on from the countless beams in other areas of the city. Seems like some areas are unfortunately a little too close to the Shaft to be ignored.

Ishikar3 (01:45:15): *Argos flight begins to spread out with Yuuya and Tarisa taking the lead to start paving the way with assault cannon fire. Stella and VG take up mid and rear guard formations to keep the route open and help with any heavily concentrated areas
tengusaur (01:45:22): *Asagi: "They're even less humanoid than Wulgaru drones..." While he's saying that, he's busy dodging from side to side between the beams, using his barrier and swinging his katana to intercept and maybe reflect back whatever ones still he can't avoid! +

Drascin (01:45:54): *And Kagura, having more than expected it, veers to the side in front of the plasma blasts heading for the nearest person, in this case Asagi, activating her SEAL field - and making the blasts go from shots to sluggish little things, ad giving Asagi time enough to basically walk around them if he so wishes+
Meraxa (01:46:16): Ataru: Let's rock and roll! *Gold Four grinds to a halt, and bends down to one knee, before one arm connects to another. Right arm extending forth as a rifle, the charged particle cannon gun is aimed...* Gotcha! *And fired as he lines up several of the flitting buzzards
Wyverncakes (01:46:36): [Kanae] Oh don't worry, there's plenty more willing to show up in due time, but for the moment you have to survive long enough to get to them! Fortunately your small size (gah, I can't believe I just wrote that, I feel so unclean) and your Tsurugi give you the maneuverability to weave through the shots... but there's quite a few close calls as the Necrotroops randomly switch directions and angles of attack on you!

tormterra (01:47:57): Kei: "I wonder what kinds of projectiles it works on." Kei was making her way forward as well, trying to balance moving with keeping an eye on the sensors
Drascin (01:48:23): *Then, her sholders open as she warms up her SOL generator and fires four arcing streams of plasma right into the middle of the Necrotroops formation... and then the arcing streams crash into each other they make a huge, engulfing explosion right in their trajectory!+
Wyverncakes (01:48:39): [Leos, Asagi, and Kagura] Far less room to manevuer Leos, but also a bit more cover to work with and fewer angles of attack to worry about! You get by just fine... and Ataru gets the time needed to thin out the crowd slightly thanks to Kagura's Sealing field! A quartet get blown apart, but there's still many more where that came from!
Drascin (01:48:56): Kagura: "SEAL FIELD. GRAVEYARD TECH. DON'T ASK ME HOW IT WORKS, BECAUSE I HAVE NO CLUE"
Wyverncakes (01:50:22): [Argos team] And in the meantime, you all start to seriously fight back! Yuuya and Tarisa's TSFs punch through, forcing the Necrotroops to break to one side or the other, the other TSFs helping keep the pathway open for the others!
Wyverncakes (01:52:07): [Asagi] (Because I misread and thought Kagura was support defending Ataru derp) THanks to Kagura's defensive barrier, you're able to dash in and take a few strikes at the Necrotroops, taking down another three of them with your barriers more than enough to defend against the occasional shot that manages to connect in spite of your maneuvers and Kagura's field!
Wyverncakes (01:53:33): [Kagura] Yes, yes indeed the Necrotroop formation is becoming a bsolutely chaotic between this and the Argos's initial charge. The explosion catches ten of the Nectrotroops in it, but other still charge at you, Kagura, some firing their beams while others are instead opting for a suicide run!

Wyverncakes (01:56:08): [Izuru] Well, less "embed" and more "smash apart" considering their size, but it still does emenate the energy barrier, which several smash themselves to death on before the others just bank around it to put the pressure still on Kagura!
cubey@aol.pl (01:56:12): *At the same time, the AHMSB's offhand has a secure grip on its three-barreled rifle. Izuru fires short, rapid bursts as his unit zooms through the sky in short bursts, changing direction rapidly but moving forward.+
Peter Kampschroeder (01:56:40): *There's a whole lotta targets and Kanae has a railgun bow/shield thing, so she does what comes naturally and starts zipping around the furball shooting up the joint. Shots go out in practically every direction, each aimed almost perfectly at an enemy unit.+

Drascin (01:58:47): *Please. Kagura eats Necrotroops for breakfast (not literally. That'd be weird). As they try to rush her, she weaves inbetween the shots with a sort of graceful eagle-like movements you'd never assign to her massive frame on land - and when Izuru distracts them she's suddenly right over them, the SEAL fieldsending their weapons into a fritz as she opens fire with her four heavyweight LUNA vulcan cannons+
Wyverncakes (01:59:20): [Izuru] The constant juking and weaving helps you keep the Necrotroops off your back, comparatively speaking as you blast down another one of them and continue to make your way fowards as well. Bad news on this front though... is with you and the TSF team advancing like you are, other drones are being attracted towards your position to act in defense of the Scarlet Queen!

Well, not quite... more like a veritable WALL of them just thrown in your general direction!

This was quite rough to keep up with, so for now they'd just have to settle for relatively generic directions +
Wyverncakes (02:07:49): [Kanae] Yeah, this is kinda hard to do with that wall of shots, and you do have a few moments where you graze a little TOO much... enough that you can practically feel (and the armor's systems) detect the bottommost layers of your Tsurugi get sheared off by the blasts!

And not only that, Yuuya gets to reward the Necrodrones for their unintended assistance by shield bashing them, the drones to bit on account of that delicious exposive reactive armor!

Scarlet Queen is not very strong as PRAYERs go, only being a city killer at most, but hell, that's a LOT of bullets and lasers and everything. On the plus side, the advantage Kagura has in being so small compared to it can't be overstated, as can't the fact that she already knows its patterns of fire - she weaves around the streams of energy shots with her SEAL field, using every tiny opening to hammer on the bouquets of cannons on its back with powerful hydrogen explosions+

Sound like a plan? *Ataru is trying to fire himself up... because a bad mood isn't the best for a sniper. Immediately, working off Kei's coordinates, he finds the farthest of the shaldolls... and aims for it arms.* Bang. *And then he fires, before finding the next target. Can't spend too much time on just one...+

Kagura runs along the Scarlet Queen's form, not exactly the easiest thing to do with its irregular shape, but at least plenty of places were present to wedge its bombs into! She gets out of the danger zone just in time, the bombs exploding and taking out more of the Queen's outer frame just as the Argos Team's cannons blast off the remainder of it!
