Aero (03:34:05): The Unity Group has been asked to help the ESUN forces retake a base that was occupied by DC Forces. Of course by that they meant that they want the UG to do all of the work since their forces are rather scattered at the moment. What's everyone doing during the flight towards the base?

She's not carrying any major ranged weaponry other than vulcans, she'll fire them off and then as she's still dropping punches seemingolyt e air sending bursts of fire at several of the Lions as she goes.

Aero (03:50:41): [Raquel] Boom, boom. More Lions explode as the fire touches them. From below you can see the Landlions taking aim at you and unloading a barrage of homing missiles. [React]

Aero (03:58:13): [Kanae] "Fine but don't blame me if something goes wrong. " Despite his worries the Shuttle Pilot goes in and of course Kanae's rockets all hit their mark, destroying the cockpits of the machines. There's also a bunch of missiles flying towards the Shuttle. Aero (03:59:51): [Setsuko] The shots ring out next to you as the Virgola slides away...however you notice something launching from one of the hangers of the base. There's a barrage of both solid and beam rounds coming towards you. [React again]

As she tosses away the second rocket launcher, Kanae pulls out a rifle and begins shooting the missiles that are heading towards the shuttle. Hopefully that'll give the pilot the room he needs to dodge. If not, well, sucks to be him.+
Aero (04:01:21): [Raquel] Most of those missiles are shot down those you can hear several of them exploding behind you as you roll across the ground.

Aero (04:08:04): [Heph] Those Lions are sliced in half and you land without a problem. That is until the Landlions start firing their railguns at you. [React]
Aero (04:09:54): [Walt] Surprisingly, the Beam Spray Gun is actually able to inflict damage on the Lions. In fact they're able to destroy a few of them. Like before, they return fire on you with their Railguns accompanied by a barrage from the Barrelions. [React]
tengusaur (04:09:58): Hetepheres: "Easier prey for aliens, indeed." Scaraber's Noble Barrier is in gold mode right now, so she uses a combination of the field and jumping nimbly to the side as defense against these physical shots, and then swings her staff, sending a laser beam across these attackers! And a few missiles in the air as well, to ease up the tension on her allies. +
Aero (04:10:15): "Like we're going to trust the ESUN with the defense of Earth against the Aliens!"
Aero (04:11:53): [Kanae] "I'm just a transport pilot Ma'am live combat, is not really supposed to be my thing!" Luckily he's able to avoid those missiles thanks to the covering fire.

Aero (04:12:53): [Heph] The beam wipes out half of the Landlions and those missiles. Despite the extra armor they don't seem to be that much more tanky.
Aero (04:13:15): [Walt] The shots ping off of the cover and keep you safe. For now at least.
Aero (04:14:29): [Setsuko/Denzel] Those shots just slam into Virgola Unit-1. The weapon that this green unit is using about as powerful as your Gunnery Carver. it doesn't seem like it's finished yet and it draws a beam saber, getting ready to impale Denzel with it. [React]

Gil (04:18:16): *The Crossgate opens, eternal, ever-shifting herald of what the Chinese might call interesting times. What strangeness will come through a hole in space and time? What bizarre, reality-breaking nonsense will fall from the Space Between Worlds?
Gil (04:18:19): *It emerges slowly, large, black armored legs descending out of the tear. Even by nothing but the legs it is blindingly obvious that the thing descending from the Crossgate is far larger than a mobile suit or a Valkyrie. The scale of the armor, quickly confirmed by the torso, marks it as close in size to one of the great monster-slaying Jaegers. As light falls over the machine, red highlights light up like lines of blood across the massive robot. Its arms emerged, spiked gauntlets at the edge, huge shoulderpads at the tops, artificial muscles ready to tear open whatever dares threaten it.
Gil (04:18:23): *Finally, the head. Huge, glowing blue eyes stare forth from an otherwise-faceless faceplate. A glowing blue jewel, surrounded by gold, sits atop the black helm that surrounds the silvery head. A huge length of white hair falls down around the machine's back, emerging from five golden spikes, which rise from the helmet like a crown.
Gil (04:18:27): *The massive, alien machine lands. Its head flicks from left to right, those blue eyes flashing as it surveys the territory. From it flows a sense of immense power, and those with spiritual or martial arts-based super senses can feel overwhelming pressure.
Gil (04:18:31): *The alien machine shifts, its stance practiced and easy. It makes no attack, merely standing, as though its pilot were attempting to get a feel for the battlefield. It does not appear to respond to radio attempts. Perhaps it doesn't have a radio? Who can say? The machine is unlike anything you've ever seen.+

Aero (04:21:32): [Mystery Machine] Well too bad because those Landlions will charge straight at you. "Damn alien scum, let's do it men. For the Divine Crusaders!" They close in and start firing their vulcans at you. [React!]

Fri Freeman (04:22:46): Walt: "Wait, we're all cowering behind cover, right?"
Gil (04:24:47): *They have chosen...poorly. The huge machine, which is actually only about half the size of a Jaeger and the animation error should be ignored, moves like lightning. The vulcans crash across its shoulders, lightly scratching the black...paint? Armor? Who knows...as it moves almost before the bullets hit it, as though it can see them before they land. But it isn't preternatural superpowers - simply reflexes honed by a lifetime of fighting.
Gil (04:24:51):
*The alien machine ducks forward. The Landlions are met with a rapid-fire barrage of fists, fists that move like machine guns and hammer like cannonfire. A few moments later, something scratches over the comms, unstable and staticky.
Gil (04:24:57): *"...llo?! Aled..."

*It is a woman's voice.+
Ginkan SK (04:25:35): *Raquel watches the gate she stares for a second at the and there's a feeling she stares at it. She's got a feeling she's only got from a few people like her Master and a few rare others as she looks at the mystery machine. "That machine I can feel it's pilot.... watch your selves he may be able to do what I can. He's a warrior who can tap the same sort of power I can." Raquel's machine does move like it's alive in it's motions as it's moving in and she moves in going for the Barrel Lions she'll run at high speed her intent is to act quick and just wreck the Barrel Lion's guns as it's eaiser than just talking the flying chunks of armor . She's actually sriking with her fists at point which would be the weaker parts ot the barrls' mounting or armor to just cut through them. "Come on I can't slack off not with what I'm feeling!." Raquel replies to the comm signal. "Are you the pilot of that machine who /are/ you. I can feel your fighting drive..."

cubey@aol.pl (04:29:50): *Setsuko protests as the two Virgola units smack the mystery foe (the green one) with their Gunnery Carvers. Toby quickly adds in from the flank - with a Barley Scythe downwards swing, cutting into the earth below his target whether it dodges or not!+
Aero (04:29:57): [Raquel] Just his aura alone is putting you off, your strike breaks through the Barrelion but it doesn't seem affected and another one just rams into you. There's a pretty clear difference between the two of you. [React]
Aero (04:31:50): [Setsuko] The machine barely dodges and it still loses an arm to the Barley Scythe. It's damaged but still fires at you with the not!Gunner Carver. [React]

Gil (04:32:59): "...it myself, you usel...!" The voice finally demands. The radio cuts.

The reflective mirror surface of Setsuko's cockpit ripples. From it emerges...well, the upper half of a very blonde, very attractive, overly-chesty elf in what appears to be a maid costume. She stares at Setsuko for a minute, then offers a tiny wave.

"Hi! Sorry, we're new here, and we're a little disoriented. Mind telling us where we are?"
cubey@aol.pl (04:33:56): *As the enemy aims, Denzel slams down at the carver with his own weapon. Knock that aim astray, and possibly wreck it!+

Peter Kampschroeder (04:34:41): *"Hmm, they really did bring quite a lot of people to this part, didn't they..." Kanae keeps up the rocket fire on the Lions, until she launches off her sixth and final bazooka. But all is not lost! She still has an anti-tank rifle, and after shifting to a prone position continues firing on the flying mecha. "Mr. Shuttle pilot, I can't dodge as easily from this position. My life is in your hands~"+

Gil (04:35:33): The elf stares at Setsuko for a moment before vanishing. The mirror closes behind her.

In Raquel's cockpit, the mirror screen ripples, and the elf-girl appears. "Hi!" She repeats, "This is kind of a weird place. We just showed up, and we don't really know where we are. Would you mind telling us?"
tengusaur (04:35:55): * "Do not forget about the long-range artillery units." Hetepheres runs towards a Barellion, hitting it with her staff to knock its cannon away, then firing a large beam at it point blank! Preferably engulfing more enemies in the blast if she can. Also her barrier switches to silver mode. +
Aero (04:37:06): [Denzel and Toby] That smacks the rifle away but it still has a Roche Saber and it's coming right at Denzel. [React]
Ginkan SK (04:37:43): *Raquel "Damn it... his Aura...." Raquel's smacked about a bit and noe she turns to grab the barrel Lion that attacked her and flip it into the other. She's trying to get it back together but that power. Seriously who the hell is that her Mother err Master is stronger but doesn't feel like this. Wait the style the stranger has used, wait a moment...is that? No worry about the Lions. Once she's done tossing them she's going to Go after another-

cubey@aol.pl (04:38:25): "Chief!" *This won't happen anymore. Not again. Virgola Unit 3 charges forward, until its Carver touches the green foe's chest. Then, it fires at point blank.+
Gil (04:38:54): "Ugh," the elf says after a moment, "Are you just going to scream like the other one did? What is WITH you people? You're even more useless than THAT idiot!" She waves at the mirror.

"What happened to common courtesy?"
Ginkan SK (04:39:01): Raquel is in a form fitting suit of some sort and is held in palce by a harness about her waits to keep her from getting thrown about. She stares at the Elf girl for a moment. She stares one she actually for the first time in her life feels liek she's on the flat side of things. She startes te the momwn for a moment "Umm.... your on earth... in north America I ... wait how did you get into my machine?!
Aero (04:39:15): [Kanae] "You're insane!" More explosions, yeah remember how they had this nice defensive formation? That's kind of ruined now. The Lions explode and now the Barrelions have something occupying them. You're pretty much safe now.
Peter Kampschroeder (04:39:37): Kanae begins to giggle.
Aero (04:40:36): [Glory Stars] Boom, the point blank shot sends pieces of the Virgola lookalike everywhere.
Gil (04:41:30): The elf stares at Raquel after a moment. She ducks her head back throuh the mirror, then pops back out. "North America? That's a weird name! But at least you can speak. Hello! I'm Princess Neige Hausen. The idiot in the robot is Aledy Naash, my travelling companion. Listen, are you with those guys who attacked us? You should probably tell them not to do that, Aledy's kind of..."

Neige purses her lips.

"Do you guys have a word for murdertastic in your language?"
Aero (04:41:52): [Raquel and Neige] A distraction? Works for them. A few Barrelions are destroyed but with your machine freezing for a moment you're suddenly sent flying along with the elf in your cockpit by another charging Barrelion. You've never seen anything so bouncy.

Aero (04:42:43): [Heph] Since they were busy with Raquel the Barrelions can't really react to that large beam and a good deal of them are wiped out.

Aero (04:56:19): For about 5 seconds before the scream of what seems to be a bird erupts through the battlefield.

Aero (04:56:49): There's a ship flying by above all of you at supersonic speeds and suddenly a bunch of coffins and crosses land on the battlefield.

It's just the landmass the planet is earth, Little distracted and there's no one ruler right now. I need to go punch these jackasses in the face!" Refering to the attackers. "Shura don't like people running? Sounds like a few people I know." Man if Ken were seeing this situation...he'd becalling it Karhmic justice.-

Gil (05:12:16): *The Ark-On is pushed backwards, a trench digging through earth below as its girth struggles against the sheer power. The Graviton Beam splays around its hand, warping and twisting like water as Ark-On attempts to defend this person it has been told is not in fact its enemy.

*Ark-On does not need the warning shout. Ark-On does not dodge. With one hand, it continues to block the Graviton Beam, standing tall to give Hetepheres a chance to move. With its other hand...

*Ha-Ki gathers. Energy explodes, shining bright in its palm all across the battlefield. It is clearly not shooting a beam weapon, or anything else. It is manipulating the strange energy directly...and a lot of it.
Gil (05:12:20): *The beam from above comes sweeping down. Ark-On's glowing fist comes hammering up. Energy erupts, not to block the beam, but to split it straight down the middle as it impacts the Ark-On's fist. It is as much counter-attack as it is defense, as much for the benefit of Hetepheres' escape as it is a chance to strike.

*The Ark-On's arm, holding the graviton beam, suddenly breaks backwards. It is like watching a human arm burst, complete with flowing, strange, glowing liquid. The other hand does the same. Over the radio, a very male, very *definitely* male voice lets out a shout, before static silences him.

*He seems injured.

*He also seems angry.+
Aero (05:17:27): [Heph, Aledy, and Raquel] Aledy splits the beam in half, and it is a VERY good thing that you backed off because that beam from above? There are about 6 volleys that follow it. It's definitely some sort of Orbital Weapon. Anyone watching this scene can tell that much from the array of beams coming from the sky. That being said Heph and Raquel are able to safely get away from the barrage.

tengusaur (05:23:24): * Scaraber leaps high above, towards the white not-Gespenst, drawing its swords on the way! Hetepheres stabs the first blade into the enemy's leg like a hook, to keep it from getting away, then slashes into it with the other weapon repeatedly and very quickly, almost like a wheel! +
Gil (05:23:34): The huge Ark-On lands a little ways outside the barrage. The reflexes on that thing must be absurd. However, as it lands, its arms hang limply at its sides. They look...broken. Something that might very well be a strange form of blood drips down the black armor, staining part of it blue. The eyes, however, blaze with power.

Neige's voice crackles over the radio. "You have some strange magic here in North America, huh?"

"We need to do this together we need to open up on them and with you here your going to have to move along with me on this!"


She starts to seemingly dance now and he machine move in time with but she'll flip the entire machine land and that's when the pillars of flame start for form blasting for black Gespenst alike and the dance continue as she moves more and more flames strike out after the Black Gepenst.


Raquel is blushing given how up close and personal she and Neige are but this is not the time or place for that for this is a battle! Still Raquel wonders who the hell are these guys she can't hold back at all with the sort of the power they are throwing about. "FIRE DANCE!"-

Aero (05:26:54): [Heph] The second white Guarlion intercepts your barrage of blades with a blade of it's own. Despite only having a single blade he's keeping up with you and when there's a chance he fires the Graviton Launcher out at point-blank range. [React]

tengusaur (05:29:01): Hetepheres takes a long, almost dance-like step to the side, trying to grab that launcher in her crossed swords at the same time and push its barrel away from Scaraber - and then cut it with a scissor-like move! +
Aero (05:29:14): [Kanae] The first two bolts are parried away but of course with Kanae things aren't that easy. The bolts still hit the shoulders of the machine and the last slams right into the forehead of the Guarlion. It's swinging a much larger divine blade down at you though. [React]

Aero (05:31:35): [Setsuko Toby and Denzel] The Gespensts don't seem worried and seconds before the Ray Straight Turret hits another orbital beam strikes down, clashing with the large pink beam. The Black Gespenst charges at Denzel while the white one emerges from the smoke of the explosion with a HUGE sword that it pulls from one of the many crosses lining the area. Gil (06:28:43): *Well, Ark-On just got shot by mysterious forces earlier. And they were bad people. And the ones who were defending seemed pretty okay. Now, someone else is in the same situation. Though the pilot of the Ark-On does not know who Shu Shirakawa is, and though the Ark-On seems to dislike the Granzon on an almost *fundamental* level...the Granzon is the one being challenged in a very, very, very dishonorable duel. While the Shura of course practce war, it is a ritualized as their arguments, filled with rules and restrictions - and this is like nothing the pilot of the Ark-On has ever seen. This is just...an undisciplined rabbe, attacking out of fear.
Gil (06:28:47): *They do not deserve the death of a warrior. They deserve to be shamed. THey deserved to be treated like cowards. A moment later, Neige's radio crackles.

Gil (06:28:52): *The Ark-On grabs its own wrist. Ha-Ki explodes out of its body, going from a spiritual force to a physical one. It is a literal light around the machine, burning like a flame as it gathers its power. The machine's arms bulge, that strange blood-like substance exploding out of its existant wounds as the arms rise.
Gil (06:28:57): *It draws back. Its foot shifts.

*The Ark-On punches. All of that force, all of that Ha-Ki, all of that ridiculous energy, explodes out of it towards the mountain. It is an invisible force, all of that Ha-Ki turned towards one, sole, solitary purpose: destruction.

*It would be wise not to be in the way of that attack.+

William Burroughs jets up high above the battlefield, and Kanae opens fire on the enemy grunts. Shot after shot goes pounding down towards them. "Ahhh...Yes, that's it..."+
tengusaur (06:33:08): * Scarab Power still active, Hetepheres launches towards a Nagrodd, hacks off its limbs one by one with quick strikes, then kicks the limbless machine away to the side. And then she repeats the same process with a few more enemies. "Begone from my sight!" +
Aero (06:33:41): [Shoe and Glory Stars] Granzon and the Virgola make mincemeat out of those drones. The severed halves explode on different sides of the blue machines. The lucky few that escaped the blades are engulfed by the large pink beam.
Fri Freeman (06:33:54): Walt: "Damnit! Covering fire!" Walt and Az sprays their... well.. beam spray gun around, hoping that it will discourage people from attacking Geno.+
Aero (06:35:14): [Aledy] The Ha-Ki hits the mountain...and half of it just disappears in the wave of destruction. The section where the Ha-Ki hit is just gone and conveniently the Mobile Fortress bombarding all of you this entire is revealed. Cowering in the safety of the mountain.
griefgathering (06:35:53): Chika: "Ahhh! So THAT'S WHERE you've been hiding!"
Aero (06:36:16): [Selena] The rocket punches whizz by, not even leaving a scratch on the two customized Gespensts. Carefully placed railgun shots send the Nagrodds to the floor.

It's like the machine is trying to fight the pilot. It struggles for a moment before finally, it gives up, lapsing into stillness.
griefgathering (06:46:41): *The Granzon then actually has to ignite its boosters to balance itself as a giant spacetime distortion follows rending pretty much anything its path.+

She now stares for a moment at all the power that comes from Aledy one can hear the freaking <3 in her voice. "I .... have to learn how to do that! Oh dear god I have to learn that!" She's sounding excited caight up in it all btu turns her attentiona s portals open up and Shu's now doing something what the hell is he doing. Then the Ark-On is acting strang he machine's head tilts to look at it. "Aledy? Neige?"
Aero (06:51:04): [Shu] The spacetime severing beam rips apart everything in it's path. The half of that mountain scatters into the wind and the Mobile Fortress follows the same path, blown to bits. The very ground the beam travels along splits apart. Once all is said and done and the beam stops the mountain range behind the Mobile Fortress is also gone. The only thing that remains is just a trail of destruction.

Gil (07:10:36): "So far," Aledy says slowly, "All I have seen is that you are a contradictory people who are perfectly happy to slaughter foes 'sometimes.' It does not predispose me towards you. However..."

Neige's voice cuts in. "HOWEVER, I told him to stop being a big baby and just go with you, and if he really doesn't like what he sees, he'll just have to solve the problem the Shura way!"

Aledy confirms that with an affirmative-sounding noise.
Gil (07:11:09): A moment later, Neige's voice crackles through the radio. "...hey, speaking of, Aledy, how did you get the radio working?"

"...I tuned it. You have to tune it before you use it, Princess."

Silence falls from the Shura God. However, it does appear, a moment later, as if it flinched.
